Great food!! The burrito was so good! The set up is a little strange, it has carpet giving an office feel, but you can beat the food !

Thankfully, Yelp absolutely came through clutch (as it usually does) and led us to Our Breakfast Place. We intentionally tried to time things to beat the post-church crowd and I think we mostly succeeded... though there was still a little bit of a wait. Thankfully, this place is absolutely worth the wait! The restaurant was bustling and busy but still had a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The menu was extensive with tons of tempting breakfast options, the prices were very reasonable to me, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was so kind and friendly and even the women seated nearby struck up conversation with us while we waited for our food. It just had that warm, community-oriented breakfast spot vibe. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes which were a seasonal special and wow, they were fantastic. Sweet but not overly so, fluffy, flavorful, and the combo also came with an egg and I chose two slices of bacon. All delicious and certainly plenty filling. The coffee was strong too, which I greatly appreciated. All in all, this was a five-star breakfast experience and the kind of local spot I love discovering while traveling. If I'm ever back in Waco, I'd happily return.

The place was at the end of a shopping strip. The restaurant was bright and typical to any breakfast restaurant Our waiter was nice and answered our questions. I like that they have smaller portions and regular portions. I order the small french toast and with poached egg and sausage. It was just enough since I cutting back, you may need regular portion for a big appetite. Overall it was decent. The food came out quickly and the price was good. I forgot to take pics.

They have a daily special on the white board, I got the fried pork chops with baked beans and mashed potatoes plus a delicious iceberg lettuce side salad for 9.99. Everything was delicious. There was a comment above about the waitresses not staying long. Being in a tiny little town that's not exactly affluent, and only two tables occupied during my entire visit, I suspect the tips are atrocious. Waitresses only make like $2/hr and depend on tips for the rest of their income. My waitresses was here by herself besides the cook, she was responsible for waiting plus clearing tables, washing the dishes, manning the checkout, literally everything except the actual cooking. She's been here three days and did a very good job considering she is brand new. I hope she stays. She spent several minutes talking to me about my current trip, checked on me regularly, and checked me out accurately and quickly. Carlos is the cook. He makes some damn good fried pork chops! Overall a great experience. Would recommend.

I also tried a bite of the strawberry cream waffle and it was delicious! Crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy inside. The service was quick and friendly, and overall just a great experience. I'm visiting from out of town, but would definitely come back here if I'm ever in the area.

We sit and order in good time as well- fyi though they advertise gluten free they advise "if its serious, please be aware there's a possibility of cross contamination due to our kitchen being small" & their potatoes "are gluten free but share the same fryer as non GF items" EYEROLLS- all of that means nothing is GF lol... anyway. The couple next to us had been seated about 30 minutes before us and still had no food, but was told that the kitchen had a huge mess up somehow and was running very behind. When their food was brought, they received the wrong order... and the folks behind us who still hadn't ordered yet received food which was also clearly someone else's! Now, I look at my phone... because my grumpy (screaming 1yo at this point) baby was starving and I was quite over the wait- holy cow! It had been over AN HOUR since we were seated. The food finally came- bit by bit... and I realized we were never given silverware. Had to ask for it. Once I start eating I was even more disappointed. The waffle i ordered was dry and other than the chocolate chips on top it was flavorless. The chicken sausage was dry & the "two eggs" must have been from a quail because it truly looked like just one. I can say with the utmost enthusiasm that I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone, nor will we be back. Not just because the food was less than mid, but the service was even worse.

Served with a perfect burrata with green pesto that was most divine- fresh as can be. Mocktails are always my choice and there's a blackberry mocktail made fresh intensely flavored berries that's a wow. So being from Oklahoma my favorite meal is fried chicken and mashed potatoes. We split a plate and we were not sorry. The perfect little chicken gravy pitcher- piping hot- w a generous helping of sauce served two easily. For desert there's an extensive selection ( including strawberry shortcake) but we opted for just plain latte made impeccably. Congratulations. You've really made America's best restaurant imo! We loved it. Coming from NYC we are spoiled for great food. But you have a 5 star accomplishment in this place. Perfectly wonderful. A million thanks-- what a memorable meal!

It wasn't bad by any means, but it also wasn't anything that made me think the drive or the hype was worth it. Everything tasted decent, just pretty average for the price. I expected to be wowed, but instead it felt like a solid breakfast spot with great branding. If you're already in Waco, it's worth checking out once for the experience and the ambiance. But if you're making a special trip just for the food, keep your expectations realistic.

Our server was very sweet and efficient- there when we needed her but not hovering. The food is glorious. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the food is so good we did not mind the prices. I had the chicken and waffles - nicely crisp chicken breast with very tasty waffles. My husband and granddaughter-in-law had the steak and eggs - with really good potatoes and onions; both were SO impressed with the flavor and the preparation. (I will be having this next time!). My grandson had 'Hong Kong' French toast, which I believe was made with Japanese milk bread and had berries and a custard. Also came with eggs and bacon. He could not speak highly enough about it. The portions are LARGE. We all took food home. I shared my plate with my great granddaughter (2 yrs) and still took food home! Honestly, we had booked another restaurant for the weekend of Mother's Day (day before) and we canceled that reservation so that we could go back to Farmers Commons! It's that good. Also, all the folks working when we were there were very sweet with my great granddaughter; we appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend for brunch. Now i want to try dinner too!
