REALLY happy and satisfied with the work I had done on my 92 Wrangler YJ. Bob and the whole team were just great with taking good care of me and my rig. I had never left it out of my sight before and they had it in their care for a month and put my mind at ease. I am doing a restoration and had some mechanical done prior to my visit to Billy Bobs for the remaining work. I provided a list of wants and needs as well as some questionable concerns from prior mechanics. All of my action items were included as well as their additional findings when examining my Jeep in a professional, clear, and detailed report. Having a safe and reliable vehicle was my top priority. Communication back and forth during the work was fast and efficient and they pointed out additional areas the other mechanics missed and got everything fixed right and proper. I NEVER felt taken advantage of. When I picked it up they had it out front and ready to go. Driving it home was like driving a brand new Jeep! Everything was smooth and felt and sounded great. Everything I came in to get done was done and then some. They even took care of some special requests from me not in the original estimate. I cannot express enough my satisfaction with this establishment, the quality of work they provided, and the personalized service received. What a joke - bob or billy, (whatever his name is) is just a loser. He exudes that his job is hard and therefore my customers are second to my struggles. Sarcastically stupid he can't answer basic questions without acting put out. You know this is the same guy that complains about service at other places. This shop was the only place that had a part I wanted/needed quickly. This place is a joke! A friend ordered shocks, for the third time I might add, and I agreed to pick them up. Gave them my card and he said there was a communication error...swiped it again and said it was declined Walked to the bank and withdrew the money, using the same card that he said was declined, walked back and paid the cash. Next day I check bank statement and there were TWO withdrawals from Billy Bobs, in the amount of the shocks Drove to the store and was told they didn't show any transactions yet I showed my bank statement with the withdrawals. Was basically told..to bad I can't give you any money, no transactions are showing up and you have to talk to Bob. Called Bob who said there were no transactions and that he would have to wait and see what the bank says on Monday. Waited for a Bob to call Monday...nope..I had to call him he told me that he called his back at 7:30am Monday...no bank is open at that time, and the charges were reversed...as I'm looking at my online banking which shows nothing. He then tells me that he just can hand over $700+ in cash and his bank told him not to refund on Saturday.... I have no choice to give this dishonest business one star. If I had my way I would give it zero stars. Billy Bob's charged me for more hours of labor then the car was even there for just to install a couple of lights. When I confronted the owner "Bob" he changed his story three different times as to why I was charged more. Bob made it clear that it was common practice for his business to do thIs to Their customers on a regular basis. Bob stated, "it's my business, I'll charge whatever I want". Even if he's charging you for work that was not done. Bob should be disgusted with himself. He is not running a reputable business. Ask to see the mechanics time sheets so you know you are not being overcharged. You can't, because Bob won't let you see them. I recommend Billy Bob's to NO one! I went into Billy Bobs over 2 months ago and ordered new headlights for my 2016 Wrangler. I was told they would be in the following week and they would call me when they came in and set up for me to get them installed. 3 weeks later I called to see 1. If they were in. And they were. Second to see when I could get them installed. I was told "we are booked this week, I'll call you to get you in next week." That was 2 months ago. I'm not a 4 wheeler spending a ton of money so I guess my business doesn't mean anything. That to me speaks volumes about this business. The guys down at Billy Bob's were/are very friendly and helpful. I have had a great experience and intend to be back! They did a very good and detail oriented job on my 2005 Ford excursion. The shop prices and part prices were great and they were very knowledgeable! Of everything they did, I have no complaints! Things they did on my truck include: Fab-tech dual shock dirt logic lift New steering stabilizer Diff Covers Painted axles and steering components Traction Bars Amp running boards ARB Lockers New Gears Custom ARB Switches Separate air tank and compressors Custom underbody/step lighting I am sure there is more too, I just can't remember. My husband got a quote (printed) from Bob himself for $652 to have some work done on his truck. My husband asked if this quote was "out the door" and he said yes plus tax. Okay so the day comes to have the work done and they charge him double the original quote! Bob claims " he doesn't know who my husband talk to to get that quote but it was wrong". I took my 99 jeep wrangler into have off road lights installed. I was greeted with a good morning as I walked into shop and friendly smiles from both gentlemen at the counter. There book was opened that detailed what was to take place for the day and the first gentleman said you must be Wayne here for the light install. AWSOME! I had 2 lights that did not have brackets for them but they went ahead and fabricated some for me. He told me that they would do their best to have it done today. ITS DONE TODAY! Price was very honest and straight forward. Service was fantastic. Paid over the phone which was nice. Overall This will be my new home for Mr. Jeeps or My Chevy needs. The people were friendly enough but don't seem very knowledgeable. They won't give an opinion on why one brand is better than another or what will work for me. They have very little in stock. The big advantage to purchasing from a brick and mortar store is that I can buy an item right away. If they have to order everything and wait several days than I may as well just do that myself off the internet. I asked the guy what kind of lights would be best for my Jeep and he had no idea. Another guy came and told me just to put in different headlights and they'd be $180. They don't stock them but can get them in a week. I bought some on Amazon for half that and got them in 2 days. I wanted to buy a bumper with a hitch installed but they only have pictures and catalogues. I can do that from home. read more

I had True Tracks put in front and rear, upper and lower ball joints, quick disconnects for my sway bar, universal joints for both axles installed, and all fluids replaced with Amsoil for my Jeep TJ. They completed the job prior to date promised and under original estimate. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I am extremely unhappy with my service at Billy Bob's. I'm always looking for local business to support, and normally I don't get burned. I had them install a 3" lift kit on my vehicle. After a couple days of driving my rear suspension it started to make a pretty awful noise. Like something had worked itself lose. I'm pretty confident in looking into this issue myself, BUT I paid a good sum of money for the kit. A good sum of money that I worked hard to earn. So when I called to ask them to look at it I was informed that my Jeep is a pile of crap and that its not the suspension. I think I know my vehicle, and its never given me any issues, or made this noise. ALSO, I'm not a flipping idiot, it is my suspension. The suspension that I paid them to install. They said they'd look at it, but they're going to charge me. They also told me that my U joints were bad and that the vehicle wouldn't be able to drive home and tried to over charge me on repairs for that too (compared to quotes I got from my normal places of business). I DROVE my jeep home and changed my u-joints myself, and while they were old, they were plenty drivable, and making 0 noise on the road. I've seen much much worse still driving down the road. I ignored the other reviews before giving them my business, but now I wish I hadn't. read more

Worst service ever!!! They don't stand behind their work or their word. Besides just plan doing it wrong, they reused old parts and charged me for new one. They would not provide the old part they replaced which is illegal!!! They left off parts and told me they were optional and would not refund my money after they told me they would. read more
