    Lemon pepper wings (dry rub).

Dry rub wings are crispy and full of flavor. Looking for an added flavor boost? Add a side of Korean BBQ sauce to dip them in...yummy!

Are these the best bar nachos in Tacoma? I don't know, I haven't had them all. Would I sign these nachos up for a poll as a candidate? Yes, I would. First of all, their nachos don't have olives. Already ahead of its peers. The steak is flavorful (I think seasoned with generic tex-mex taco seasonings) and in the perfect nacho bite size, no chewy large steak pieces here. The vibe is very casual. It's definitely a spot for locals. Come in for a game of pool.

Amazing food, Amazing prices. Fried Mushrooms are hand battered portobello mushrooms. 6 bucks.. French Dip. I love to seek out a good Frend Dip. This was delicious perfectly sliced, delicious Aujau, perfect rolls.. Best French Dip I have had in town.. Hubby had the Western Burger. Stated it was delicious, the bbq sauce was tangy, the onion ring perfect. His only complaint was that the bacon was over done. Will deffinately be visiting again..

Woo! I'm sitting here stuffed! I really loved my jalapeño burger (and those jalapeños were fresh ones and HAAAAHT!) and the fries were on POINT! My husband got wings that had a great crunchy outside and juicy inside- they were a great size and there were eight to an order. All of their sauces and dips are made in-house, their chicken tenders are made here from fresh chicken, and their onion rings are made fresh, too. The draft beer was cold. The inside is small but the atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. They have a pool table, electronic dart board, and touch screen jukebox with Bose speakers set up around the place for great sound. There is plenty of parking right next to the building. We plan to come back on another Saturday for steak night.

The food is my favorite part. I can have a beer anywhere, but the food is actually pretty on point minus the nachos, sad to say. Always overcooked, cheese is hardened and well beyond melted, but a massive portion in size. The sandwiches are amazing, the quesadillas are amazing, have yet to make it there before breakfast ends but I'm betting it's probably pretty good. Staff are friendly, efficient, and do well on checking to make sure you're not waiting too long for service without being too bothersome. It gets a little loud, busy and crowded on nights especially on the weekends, but that's typical bar atmosphere. Patio seating is nice on sunny days like today. 5/5 for a hometown spot in the neighborhood.

She made sure our table had plenty of water and always made sure our sips never went dry. My issue was the food. So to keep me safe I always order a side salad, but I needed a little protein so I also ordered some grilled chicken on the side with ranch dressing. Most of the way through my salad the started to turn in my stomach. Once the spicy chicken came out, I requested to send it back, due to the menu not specifying that the spicy chicken is only grilled chicken with Sriracha sauce poured it all over it. The menu specifies grilled with spices. Not true unfortunately. I decided to eat the grilled chicken that was plain and again my stomach started to turn. I honestly couldn't figure out if it was the chicken, the salad or the ranch dressing that was not sitting right in my stomach and boy! Let me tell you later on that evening. I ended up in the middle of the night not in the best situation. I unfortunately had food poisoning of some sort. I still think this is a great establishment to go and hang out to hear musicians, artist, and entertainers play and they have a great selection of drinks. I am taking a drawback on ordering food. As always, stay safe out there and thank you for following my reviews. I appreciate all the support. See you at my next bite.

They have OUTDOOR SEATING!!! Let's start off with the MOCK COCKTAIL the Blueberry Mojito. OMG! It was DELICIOUS!!! It had a lot of flavors. Then came out the Beef Wellingtons. They were shooters. The menu says they typically come out in about 25 minutes. We ordered them anyway. Luckily for us they came out first. They were delicious!!! Nice and hot. The breading was nice and flaky. We will ordering these again! The shrimp cocktail and the salads came out. They were all good. However, my wife noted that her Avocado and Bacon Salad needed more Avocado and Bacon. Last the Garlic Ptarmigan Fries. The garlic level can be considered "Date Level". So, if you are looking for something more garlicky then this is not really for you. Salted Rim Bar and Kitchen was really busy. Especially for a Sunday night. They had a trivia contest going on so it was a little loud. However, with the business of the night they had enough staff to go around. With the staff being plentiful we were not ignored. As for the staff themselves they were all extremely nice and friendly. We will most definitely come back here again!!

Recently stopped in here for a date night with the wife…read more We've been looking for a decent replacement ever since Tacoma lost the Rhein Haus. Since my wife is of German heritage, brats and kraut are a thing in our life. The menu here looked really good, so we stopped in our 29th anniversary. I will say, there is a parking lot across the street. For those who've been in the area for a while and remember past times, it used to be a used car lot Luckily I found an empty spot on the street right out front, so I grabbed it. But yeah, parking in this area can be tricky. Just be aware that there is the lot across the street on Puyallup Avenue, the entrance is from "Court A", which looks like an alley but is technically a road. Tacoma is fun like that. So let's talk food. We ordered the Brätzel, because my wife loves a good soft pretzel with some beer cheese. This one states that it's a beer cheese soup, and it was a bit thinner than a typical beer cheese. But it had a really good flavor. It was not gritty at all like some beer cheese can be (I'm looking at you Hops&Drops). I'm not a huge pretzel fan, but I will say that I tried a portion of it and enjoyed this one. The pretzel had a good flavor and the beer cheese soup was great. We also split the Landjäger / Käse Platte. Let's get one thing clear, this thing is bigger than it looks on the menu. There's a lot here. I'm really not sure exactly which of the four cheese were which. If you go by the description on the Käse Platte then it should be Bavaria Bleu Crème, Raclette, Emmentaler and Butterkäse. The Bleu Crème is easy to spot. The rest look similar really. But each had a unique flavor and all tasted absolutely wonderful. The cured beef and pork sausages were good, but the cheese stole the show here. We also shared the Berliner Platte for a main. Again, I can not stress this enough, there is A LOT of food here. the two of us had no chance of eating all this. This plate comes with the following sausages; Berliner Bratwurst, Smoked Cheese, Spicy Cheese, Chicken Andouille & Bockwurst as well as being served with sauerkraut and you get to pick two sides. We chose the Spätzle and Pommes (fries). All of this was amazing. The spicy sausage and the andouille were too spicy for my wife, but we knew that going in. If you have a group and are wanting to sample the many wursts here, I would highly recommend this plate. Now, let's talk service. I don't remember our server's name, but she was so great. Very friendly, very tentative, very good at her job. This was exactly the kind of service I look for when I go out to a restaurant. I don't want some tablet where I'm interacting with a faceless machine, I don't want a kiosk, I want a real person who engages with us and helps make our experience the best it can be, and this place gets it. The staff here is on point, they are good, they take good care of you and the experience made s want to come back. This place is for sure at the top of our list for German food here in Tacoma. If you have not been, you need to stop by. It's not big, it's not fancy, you'll drive right by it if you aren't paying attention. But this place is by far the perfect replacement for our missing sausage haus. We are so glad we stopped in.

I got a great cocktail... very well crafted! But after going to look at the menu when writing the review to get the precise name of it I couldn't find it. So it may not be available. It sounds like they shift out their cocktail menu from time to time so it definitely changes. The food menu is great! It's rare where they have a nachos section on the menu. Section? As in getting different ones? Yes, you can get all kinds of different nachos here which makes it a lot of fun and it's intriguing to see what kind of different spin on nachos you can get here. We split and shared the Fiesta Verde nachos which has corn, Oaxaca Cheddar sauce, cotija, green onions, sour cream, Queso Fresco and green sauce. They also are known for different kinds of corn dishes and baked potatoes. We continued to share with something off of their baked potato section and got the Dude which had a diced roasted chicken breast in a Chipotle-Lime-Honey Beef Consommé, cheese curds, cotija, shaved radish and green onions. The food was great and I really appreciated the menu being so unique. The atmosphere is cool too with all of the mirrored bubbles above the wall and front entrance. They have all the Pappy van Winkles as well as most of the Buffalo Trace Antique collection. They only do 2 oz pours (no half pours) but the prices are still more affordable than any other place you'd find on the West Coast. Some downsides is that they don't have glencairn glasses and the place has your typical tavern smells, so you won't get the full isolated whiskey tasting experience. This place is after all a tavern, so most of the focus is on beers and a communal experience. If you're looking to try something rare without wanting to buy the whole bottle though, I think coming here for whiskey is still pretty good.
