They protected the landscape around the house and cleared the area before starting work. They arrived when they said they would (actually early) and finished the job (tear out shingles, new boards as needed, added insulation to the attic, rerouted vents, new roof) in one day (about 11 hours). The crew cleaned up the area and made sure no debris (nails, scraps, etc) were left. I've moved to another house in 2014 and wanted to replace the roof. I called Imperial for a quote to do the job. We did not do the garage. That's next year. Anyway, it went very well. They got it all done in 1 day if you don't count quick earlier visits to inspect the roof and take measurements. The roof looks great and the crew did a wonderful job of cleanup afterward. The foreman Clint was very professional and was happy to answer any questions I had. It's been over a month with several hard rains and no leaks, so it's looking good. They even did a little touch-up work caulk job on my sunroom roof at my request with no extra charge. Also, one part of my gutter guards was intertwined with the previous roof and had to be torn out. Chandler then contracted a local company to come out and replace the gutter guards that had been removed.

We were trying very hard to be ready for the home to go on the real estate market in March. Neighborhood keep us abreast of the weather/schedule and came and did the job as soon as the weather allowed. They kept both the integrity of the roof and the need to meet a time deadline in mind and really helped us out. We are homeowners not roofing professionals, it was nice to know that they've been in Ann Arbor for so long, to know that they are well thought of in the community. We were able to trust them in their pricier advice. And for the scope of the work I feel the price was fair. A roof costs money, doing a roof the right way costs money but at least I know we paid a fair price for a job well done.
