I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from Chimney Rescue Squad. I had been in contact with the owner, Chuck in regards to a part he was going to order for my gas fireplace. There was no followup whatsoever, and no return phone calls or response to text messages that I sent over a month and a half long period of time. I called this company and one other (a national chain). Both were pleasant but CRS was able to come out much more quickly. Turns out my flue was not stuck closed but had just been frozen. He told me what I could do if I wanted to prevent this in the future but said a hairdryer up the chimney would work as well to unfreeze the flue! He wouldn't let me pay him anything for the visit! read more

I highly recommend this company. Chuck, the owner, is very knowledgeable and friendly. He spent some time here explaining everything he did and maintenance we will need in the future and things to watch for (just common chimney maintenance - nothing urgent or out of the ordinary).
