I asked how much he wanted for a hood and asked when i could pick it up. He gave me a price and said he was available Sunday 2-6pm. I drove an hour and showed up at 2pm and was constantly calling and texting and got no response at all. I waited until 3pm when i finally decided to go back home after no response. Purchased an item on eBay and order was cancelled by seller due to needing time to find a shipper. Called and talked to representative at Merchant. He was supposed to return my call. Called back and spoke to him. Said he needed more time to arrange shipping. Again no call back. Called several times with no answer, emailed and contacted through eBay. No communication. Can't imagine the after sales support if needed. My first transaction the week prior was successful. I will take my business elsewhere. Based on the reply from Will below why not contact me and let me know that? Why not return a call or email. Don't string people along. We both know it's not an apartment you were delivering too it's a condo with a 2 car garage. My work address has a loading ramp for a forklift. Just admit you sold the part out from under me. Bought a 2002 BMW 530i for my son. Great car but as expected issues start to pop up. Latest one was the passenger front window starts making some noise and eventually falls into the door. Figured we could fix ourselves. After looking at some detailed how to videos took it all apart and determined that the window regulator needed to be replaced. Looked around and everything was way expensive, took too long to get here, or was made in China. Found a posting in Craigslist and started exchanging texts. Very responsive and very professional. It turns out it was Bimmer Merchant. Ended up in their shop and met the owner. Nicest guy, his whole family was there. Sold me a perfect OEM window regulator for a great price and it turned out the how to video I used was posted by them. While I was there I managed to pick up a couple of other things I needed and got some great advice.
