Came to Valley Muffler & Radiator because my Classic 1977 C10 Chevy Scottsdale was overheating. Also the heater core was leaking on the passenger side and the bottom of the truck. The truck was in bad shape. Once I talked to Rick he gave me a quote for a new water pump, new radiator, new catalytic converter, new muffler, and new 3 inch chrome exhaust. I went ahead with the quote and was expecting for the job to be done in a few days or even a couple of weeks. It was allot parts that needed to be replaced and custom exhaust needed to be welded. To my surprise all these parts where replaced and completed in 24 HOURS!!! He also stopped the leak from the heater coil. Rick did an excellent job. Great turnaround time and excellent quality custom work. He gave a new life to my C10. The sound that the truck makes now brings a huge smile to my face every time I turn on the truck!!! This place is like any typical muffler shop around. They're just as bad/good. I came to this shop considering the reviews. I had the shop build me a full exhaust starting from the down pipes with a new resonator, muffler, and piping. I was happy with the work but noticed my exhaust tips were centered, due to the fact that the exhaust route on my car was slightly off to the right. I went back a few days later to be confronted by the owner himself. I told him that they had built the exhaust and I wanted some adjustments made. I explained to him what I had in mind but he kept shaking it off his shoulder as if he weren't interested in taking the job. He then quoted me $150 because mandrel pipes had to be used. I had another shop check it out and they informed me that there was plenty of space to push back the muffler to extend the piping. This shop is good for stuff like cat and muffler swaps. But if you're looking to have them make a custom setup per your OCDness like me, forget it. They're just as money hungry and selfish as any other. read more

I had discussed with the owner that I wanted to add a second muffler to my 2014 Toyota Camry several months ago. I was finally able to take my Camry in their shop last Friday 3/19/2021 and was more than happy. The technician that installed my exhaust did a fantastic job, he took his time measured everything so both of the mufflers were place the same on both sides and it came out looking GREAT!!!!. They told me that they have never done one but after some research online they were confidence that it could be done. The economy is bad so they're not as busy anymore, but man, back in the days we'd wait in line with our cars to get it done by these guys.
