Normally I prefer o'reily over autozone but most of the staff here are rude and not helpful including store manager. I came in for some headlights and I asked about their warranty & replacements for headlights. They advised me that I was able to get one replacement but most likely I had blown fuse or electrical was bad. Check the fuses and electrical and they all working condition. The light bulbs sold at oreily are cheaply manufactured and only last 3 months. I switched over to LED and haven't had any problems. read more

This O'Reilly Auto Parts store is only a few blocks from my home and is usually my go to place for things I may need for my girlfriends car and for my previous car. They have a big parking lot out front, and whenever I come here, there is usually at least one car with the hood up and somebody fixing something. They have great hours from 7:30am to 9:00pm seven days a week and their early opening time really helped me out today. My girlfriend was set to leave at 9am this morning for a road trip and we discovered the night before that her car was very low on oil. I arrived at O'Reilly shortly after they opened at 7:30am to purchase motor oil. I was going to pick up a few quarts of oil and one extra just to have on hand. Shout out to Rick who mentioned that for only four dollars more, I could purchase a large five quart bottle and have even more extra oil on hand. I really appreciated that since her car burns a ton of oil. If you shop here a lot, be sure to give them your phone number to create a rewards account. You will receive cash rewards once you hit certain spending thresholds. They also have their own branded products which can be significantly less expensive then the brand names. I purchased their brand of Dexos1 certified synthetic 5W-30 oil and it was $7 to $10 less expensive than the big name brands. Go to O'Reilly in Placencia (Imperial Hwy) Today, I walked in and there were no customers and three employees. I wanted to buy pair of Windshield wipers. O'Reilly always helps with the installation but today it wasn't the case because it was 'too hard' for Jessica Diaz - she was on the phone so my guess she didn't want to. Also, Jessica is the manager of the store and installing a windshield wiper is too hard? If your manager can't install, then why advertise "Free Installation"? Add to that, she didn't even see the vehicle, how would she know it is hard? read more

Kyle is a beast! He gave excellent customer service and helped repair my car. My left rear blinking light has been out, and I have been stressing to finding a place to do the installation of the bulb because my car has a bunch of panels to take off. Every business quoted over $100 for the repair. I went into O'Reilly to buy a replacement bulb, and Kyle asked if he could look at it. I pulled up my car to the side of O'Reilly, and in 15 minutes, he replaced the bulb. He came in clutch, give this man a raise! read more

Been here a few times for various necessities for cleaning and maintaining cars. Unfortunately, the items I'm looking for are almost always out of stock, which can be rather frustrating! It seems like they keep very low to minimal inventory of most of their SKUs, so it might be best to call ahead if you're looking for something in particular, especially if it's more specialized. On another note, beware if you return something you bought from another location with different tax rates, as I returned a completely new and unopened item from another nearby location with the original receipt - and they shorted me on the tax, due to being in Fullerton vs. Placentia (the latter has a slightly higher tax rate). It wasn't a huge amount, but it's the principle that is kind of annoying, considering most big retailers are aware of this and will normally refund you exactly what you originally paid - even if you're returning in a neighboring city. read more

O'Reilly's The employees at the O'Reilly's on Yorba Linda Blvd. were more than amazing, they were a blessing! Our serpentine belt busted on the freeway, 4 hours away from home, and they helped us as soon as we got there. Kayla and Ethan both managed to assist us while STILL making sure other customers were equally taken care of. When the tool we got seemed too long, Ethan immediately found a tool that fit and made the job easy for us to do in the parking lot. My wife was not well and Kayla made sure to give her a seat where she could cool down and wait (since the auto garage next door was closing). They both continued to check on us to make sure we didn't need anything else for the car. We come up here every couple months and THIS is where we know we will feel safe coming to and will let friends know to stop at this spot. Taking care of customers is good business, and most businesses have lost that. Good job Kayla and Ethan for remembering that!! read more

They really need to work on their customer service. My alternator stopped working and they gave me recommendations on the different types of alternators compatible with my car. I didn't want to buy the wrong one so I ending up buying 2 alternators with the intention of returning the one I didn't need. My dad is a mechanic so I brought it back to him and he realized that I needed an extra part with the alternator. I went back to buy it and return one of the alternators, but Robert (assistant manager) started raising his voice and was visibly frustrated as he told me both alternators I bought were wrong. There was no need to start getting mad at me when they're the ones who recommended and sold me 2 wrong alternators. Robert seemed to have a short temper and would barely let me talk before pointing at someone else to come deal with the situation and walking away. The next guy helping was a bit better, but did he really have to say "you better not get the alternators dirty because we're not gonna accept it then." Obviously I'm going to bring it back in the best condition I can and that comment was kind of uncalled for. I left feeling pretty terrible and will not be coming back to this location. read more

This is a two part review. This Kragen is next door to an Allens Tires, but they work together more or less. I got my car jumped and at the suggestion of the Tow guy headed down here. I grabbed the first employee I could find and asked if he could help me. I know ZERO about cars, the dude could've sold me whatever he wanted and changed an arm and a leg and I wouldn't have known any better. Lucky for me he was super helpful and got me the battery I needed for 70$ , which i hear is pretty standard. He didn't charge me the 10$ disposal fee, whether that is standard procedure or " cute young girl " discount I can't say. This is my favorite auto parts store as they almost always have what I need, plenty of stock to chose from, and some of the best prices on the market for quality items. Customer service gets an A+ as well as the employees are always helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Caesar (the current manager) is almost always there, making sure every customer is happy. I think that is top notch service right there. I came in for a new battery and Jon installed it for me free of installation charge and in a timely manner. I was impressed that he could do it although it was dark outside. Another employee, Santos, was very friendly and made me feel welcome while I waited. The staff doesn't pressure you to buy something you don't need or pay more which was a nice change. This store has everything there is to offer for vehicles of all sizes whether you're looking for a cosmetic or internal fix.
