I stop at this gas station to fill up often since it is so close to my house. It is very convenient and the attendants are always so helpful. This morning I had a tire issue, so I decided to try them for more than gasoline. They have a full-service car repair space located directly onsite, so I figured they could help with my tire. Sure enough, I had a roofing nail lodged in my front left tire. The attendant was wonderful and fast. He patched my tire for $20 and I was on my way. I appreciate the location of this service/gas station especially this morning when I was heading to work. If I had to go anywhere else, I would have been late. It's not a huge issue if I am late, but I really hate being late... it's just a thing with me. This is where my 5 stars really ring out. Because I was able to get in and out fast, because the attendant was so nice and because I feel it was a very fair price, I rate this service station 5 stars. I don't know how to do these things myself, so I panic a little when my tire light comes on in my car. Peace of mind is huge. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman's name this morning. If he reads this review, thank you! Don't forget to tip your service people for doing things you can't do or don't want to do. I have a maintenance package on my vehicle right now through my dealership, but after that expires, this place will have my business. I really love their almost old fashion standard of business. Took my car to Memorial Conoco for a coolant leak. Pressure test revealed a cracked radiator. Mike suggested that I replace the hoses and thermostat while replacing the radiator. Mike really cares about you and gave me price which was very reasonable. The car went into the bay and they completed the job the same day even though they appeared busy. There was a small glitch when I went to get the car. They immediately rectified the situation at no charge. I have a 14 year old Infinity and was a little hesitant to go to an independent shop but the service was better than the dealership and cost significantly less. Popped the hood this morning and everything looked good with no coolant leaks! read more

Owner (Mike B.) is a snarky, ignorant, pompous old man who is very self righteous and doesn't own up to the mistakes or "integrity" of his 50 year business. He tried to charge more than a dealership for tires, insulted the brand new ones I bought because I didn't buy them from him and when they forgot to replace to replace the sensors in the wheel after they replaced the back tire, he tried to charge more than triple to do so In which was suppose to be done along with changing the tire. They claim to be car specialist but don't know they're suppose to add the sensors with the tires instead of trying to charge for new ones when they didn't put the ones I already had on. He will degrade you and make it seem as though he's better than you and has more money than you because of his longevity. SCAMMERS!! The owner is only interested in taking your money I went for flat tire they replaced it messed up my sensors. We returned and were told the gentleman who handles that is not there to return today, went back AGAIN today only to be told we had to pay $65 for their mess up! When I called to ask why are we having to pay for their mistake as this is something they do EVERYDAY you would think they need to check the sensors. But no apparently they don't check any of that and only want to blame me claiming I was in a rush and that they don't work for free and that I only paid $22, if you wanted more money why didn't you ask for more money from the start!! I told them I'm willing to pay HALF $35 to fix the sensors as this was something that should have been said from day ONE. Nope not willing to meet halfway started throwing in my face how I don't work for free, extremely unprofessional definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Also I went with BRAND NEW that I got from Walmart so he was mad I didn't have to buy tires or fix my rim for $300 called my new tires JUNK because it wasn't bought it from him. Horrible experience! If I can give 0 stars I would. They have workers who have no clue what they are doing and want you to pay for their mistakes! read more

Mike, Richard, and the rest of the crew up at Conoco have helped my son and I on a number of vehicles over the past few years. So much so that they are the only shop in town I wanted working on my Grandfather's 86 Ford F150 which he bought brand new in 86 and I now own. They have always treated us well, fixed what needed fixin', but didn't try to sell a bunch of unneeded services. Their work is good, priced reasonable, and most importantly I trust them to do what's right. This it my shop without a doubt. Just wish they worked on motorcycles as well but hey first world problems right? read more

Recently moved to Houston from NOLA and had some trouble with my truck's charging system on Saturday-to the extent that the truck DIED. Choose this place because it was close and there was a personal response from the owner on a previous review (I like personal involvement). Long story short, needed a new battery and alternator. Not only did they get the repair done Saturday, they also went out of their way to go retrieve the truck for me with their own staff- which saved me about $80 over calling a tow truck. At the end of the day, the repair cost was reasonable, the delivery time was AWESOME, the staff was super friendly and they went out of their way to listen and HELP. Have lived in Wilchester for years. Been here for repairs only twice. First time several years ago was a bad experience. This time around my wife took our daughters car in for a tire repair. First off, would not accept our Spartan discount card, and the tire did not hold air after their repair. I took it back and instead of offering an apology for the extra trip, they stated there was no evidence of a prior repair and they must have repaired a different tire on the car. I told them same wheel/tire, and they said they'd need to check all the other tires to see if any had been repaired. I'm 50 plus and really would take the time to go rotate my tires to get 2 flats repaired for the price of one?! Worst customer service orientation encountered anywhere in the area....won't go back and won't let my wife or daughter go back either. read more

The first time I went to this place was five minutes after they closed on a Saturday. My tire was low on air and I needed to get it checked. The guys were very nice about it and even plugged the hole in my tire for me for only like $5. It was a big deal because I had to drive out to magnolia the next morning to get my daughter from summer camp. I will always chose this place to take my car to. read more

Don't set your expectations too high regarding their state inspection service. The first time I showed up the inspector was away at training. When I did get the inspection the technician fat-fingered the VIN# into the system or just got sloppy resulting in me having to go to the tax assessor instead of filing online. I'll drive a little farther to the Kwik Kar on Eldridge next time. I thought I would give this local gas station a shot as it was right around the corner from me. read more
