This is my first review and I felt that I had to do this review to let everyone know that Arthur is defenately (honest) and real. Aproximately 5 months ago I took my BMW 530i for service, the engine light was on, and some other issues , I had gone somewhere else before I went with Arthur and honestly I felt a bad vibe and felt that they were over priced so I decided to try some few other places, As soon as I met Arthur I felt a good vibe because he was knowledgeable and explained in detail what my car needed and it was alot cheaper than the other 3 places I had gone before, I have been back since then twice and I am defenately a satisfied customer. Got a say, absolutely one of the best Automotive shops there is. They specialize in BMW only. If you own one, do your self and your car a favor, and take it to Artur (Master Technician). Very knowledgeable in his field, he is not like other mechanics with the hustle and bustle. He understand each aspect of the cars performance and can diagnose the problem with out BS. This must be my second or third review over the years I've been using yelp but I really think prospective customers should hear this. I broke down on a cross country road trip over the holidays, and had to trailer my 1990 BMW E30 from Santa Fe to Los Angeles. After arriving on the Tuesday before Christmas and checking out a couple BMW mechanics capable of pulling and installing an engine in the San Fernando valley area, Art at Bimmers Service was not only the most economical, but he had a clean shop, and a definitive date he could finish. I got my car back the Tuesday after Christmas, (he sourced a clean used engine, removed the old one, and installed it) a day ahead of when he told me it would be ready. And it runs like a top! The Best BMW Shop selection you can make: I went to the BMW dealer looking for some guidance on what to do with my overheated/almost dead 2005 BMW 325 and they referred me to BMW Service Shop operated by a mechanic that worked more than 10 years in that dealer. I went to see the place (after visiting more than 2 good candidate shops) and the minute I meet and talked to Arthur I knew I was in the right place. He seemed so experienced and honest, he explained everything I asked, he answered all my questions and explained my options to revive the car, and I am so glad to say that he proved to be the BEST as he did a fantastic job in my car and for a good price too. When my 1998 318ti over heated on the 405, I was lucky enough to have it do so near BMW Service. I looked for nearest BMW shop on the smart phone, and made a call. BMW Service's owner, Artur, arranged for a tow truck, and even added the towing bill to his bill to save me the trouble of getting cash right away. Art explained what was going on at every turn, answered all of my questions, and fixed the car promptly at a more than reasonable price. Got the name of this dealership from BMW USA website for Certified used cars. Selected the 2011 528i that I liked and inquired about the car. Got a call from a salesman named Shaikh Shamim and discussed about the car yesterday September 16, 2014. The car was still available he told me and was eligible for reduced BMW financing. I told him that I would like to get the financing portion done before I get there. He said he would email me the credit application the same day and follow up with me. The application did not come yesterday and today I called and the operator said he is there and transferred the call. He did not pick up the phone, perhaps with a customer, therefore I left a message to call back. One half of the day has passed by he did not call yet. Very poor and unprofessional service! A. AVOID. Brought my BMW here for a diagnostic. The battery light and check engine lights were on. After nearly 8 hours of having my car in his possession, he tells me that he did not have time to get to it and that I would have to bring it back the next day...The next day the car is there for another 8 hours. I come back before closing time to pick up my car and see if he figured anything out...Well, it appeared as though he had not even touched my car because it was in the same spot I had left it in the morning. He proceeds to tell me that there was an electrical system problem he could not pinpoint. NO SHIT that's why I brought the car to you, so you could tell me what exactly is the problem! You failed to properly diagnose my car because you are an incompetent mechanic...He proceeds to charge me $80 for this "diagnosis" and claimed he was giving me a discount. He didn't even want to give me an invoice, but I did not leave until I had one in my hand... read more

I took my 135i in because it had a check engine light on. After a day I've been told that my turbos are out and that it would cost me about 2500 to get it fixed. I took it to the dealer for a second opinion and $138 later it turnes out a hose was not connected properly. I gave it 2 stars because he ended up not charging me for the diagnostic... read more

Getting ready to sell my old BMW X5 so was looking for an inexpensive A/C fix or diagnoses since I'm not keeping the car. I came here and they drained and recharged my a/c, changed my battery for me (I had a brand new one I had just bought but hadn't installed yet as X5 batteries are a lot of work to change), and they diagnosed that I needed a new a/c compressor. At the end I asked the charge for the a/c charge, diagnosis and battery change and Art told me no charge. Would not even allow me to tip him, really great customer service and honesty. hello yelpers i just wanted to leave a review for all the ladies out there who feel like at times when you go to a mechanic your being taken advantage of. i have a 1996 bmw and my engine light had been on for about a week , also my driver side front door lock was broken or jammed .... or something i dont really know ..all i knew was my key didnt unlock my driver side door...lol anyway i took my car to a mechanic named max on oxnard st and he told me my engine light was on due to a head gasket problem which would be about $2000 to repair and as far as my lock on my driver side door to fix that would be $500.00...whoa! so for this lovely estimate i paid $150.00...man i was pissed because i knew it was bs...so yesterday i decided to take my car to get a second opinion i found this mechanic shop on yelp and called and arthur told me he would charge me $50.00 to look at my bmw . i arrived at bmw service and arthur the owner greeted me with a warm smile , very polite man. i explained to him my situation and he diagnosed my car and told me it was all bull crap!!!! it wasnt the head gasket at all ...he asked me if my car shook when ever i was at a halt and i said yeah it does he told me it was the unbalanced compression in my coils...lol or something like that any ways he got started right then and there on repairing my car he switched them around and told me if this doesnt work then i need to get new one but since there like $125 each we should try transferring the compression after he did that i asked him about my front car door lock ...once again he smiled and politely asked me if i had time for him to look at it? i said yes and he proceeded to take the car door apart ... he offered me all kinds of goodies while i waited and he has a nice size plasma tv in his waiting area...lol about an hour passes by and he is done ... i asked him if he takes visa debit for the $50.00 and he says dont worry about it ...my mouth dropped .. i asked him if he was sure because i he had did at least $800.00 of work for free and i couldn't believe it . he is amazing and i am very grateful that i met him and he is a very honest mechanic and as you can see he really does care and understand the quality of honesty and good customer service...my engine light has not came back on and i can unlock and lock my driver side door without a problem.......thankk you arthur...muah!!! read more

I recently bought a 2003 BMW and had an indicator light come on as I was driving into work. I was worried, being a woman and pregnant that I would be told that everything under the hood needed to be replaced! I didn't know where to go since I didn't have anyone who had a BMW that could refer someone so I jumped online and found this place. Artur was AMAZING! He helped me right away and kept me well informed of everything the entire time. We 1st moved here to California Mid 2011, when something broke on me in San Bernadino on my way home from work. Well of course I was looking for a reputable shop near my house in Van Nuys. I remembered there was a BMW Shop on the corner of my street. I had no idea how good or bad they were but I gave them a try. Upon dropping my car off I was advised by the gentlemen Artur that he would be calling within the hour to let me know what my problem was . Well like he said I received a call and the gentleman Artur asked me if I was close. I told him I lived on the corner. When I got to his shop he showed me my sway bar link an control arm bushings were bad. I ended up getting it fixed and everything was great until I had my next car issue and he has been the go to guy ever since. This guy knows his stuff I have had some of the major problems that occur on the 745li over the course of my time being out here and what makes him so special is he has over 14yrs experience working for one of the largest BMW dealerships in the valley and unlike the dealership he is affordable. He is certified on all BMW models especially mine which is a mainly ran by computer, so if you are looking for a BMW specialist that is knowledgeable, and affordable this is the shop for you, I highly recommend this shop. read more

When my 530i needed service, i didn't know where to take it, for sure not the dealer. A friend of mine recommend Artur. He said said he is honest and does good work and his shop is near my house. I checked other places before taking it to Artur and i was not happy. I called Artur and explained my situation. He said bring it over and he will check it out. When i arrived, Art greeted me with a hand shake and a smile. He made me feel welcome right away. I left my car with Artur and he said he will call me once he finishes looking over my car. A couple of hours later he calls and tells me what was wrong with my car ,what was needed to fix it and how much it was going to cost. I gave him the ok to work on it.
