This auto repair shop has been the very best I've ever been to all the way around, even accepted my extended warranty that I bought after Honda's warranty expired which brought my costs of the repairs to a much more affordable price. I had to have my car towed to Andre's because as I later found out, the engine blew! Other than immediately saying he couldn't do anything, he actually investigated and tried multiple options- completed a compression test, tried to clean out the areas surrounding the engine that accumulated gas and build-up, etc. Ultimately it was the engine. Because my car was old (2006), it didn't make sense to replace it- that would have been more than the car was even worth. I decided to have the car junked and Andre graciously allowed me to keep it at his shop until I was able to make arrangements. He went ABOVE and BEYOND what any typical mechanic would do. I can't believe I haven't left Andre a Yelp review. He has been my main mechanic since I've moved to Los Angeles last summer. I lived in Sherman Oaks when I started going to him, and I still take my car to him now that I've moved to Los Feliz. He is intelligent, no-nonsense, kind, and honest. He told me when to stop doing repairs on my rusty old car and even showed me how decrepit the part he replaced from it was. When I was considering a new car, he performed a thorough inspection and texted pictures of every little thing to me. He always tells me what work *can* be done and what *needs* to be done and never pushes non-urgent repairs. As a young woman, I have a lot of experience with mechanics treating me like I'm dumb and performing repairs and replacements that I later found I didn't need.
