Napa Bingo Emporium is one of the rare halls that still offers turbo bingo machines, which makes it a fun and unique place to play. The buy-in prices are very reasonable, and the payouts can be excellent when attendance is good. The manager is consistently fair, helpful, and genuinely accommodating, contributing to the hall's warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was in attendance last Sunday, in regards to the bad review. The caller was not complaining -- she simply informed us that she would be the only caller that night and might need occasional breaks. The discussion about buy-in receipts was quiet and handled calmly. From what I observed, the player who left chose to do so; another patron even encouraged them to stay for the Bonanza game. To ask that Vetrans and or Military not support this establishment, is insane. They are very supportive of Military personnel. Overall, it remains an enjoyable and friendly place to play bingo. I've only played bingo twice in my life, and The Bingo Emporium made every bit of it easy, fun, and completely stress-free. From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me like I'd been playing there for years. They're exceptionally nice and go out of their way to help new players understand the buy-ins, the papers, the daubers -- everything. The person who greeted me when I arrived I was greeted by Jamie. She couldn't have been more welcoming. She explained the different games, answered my questions without rushing me, and made sure I didn't miss anything important. For a beginner, that made all the difference. I am a former US Army Green Beret, so let me just say this place runs like a well maintained and organized machine. I've been attending sessions at the Bingo Emporium on and off for about a year. I don't go often, but up until now I've always had positive experiences. Unfortunately, what happened this past Sunday changed my view completely. I invited a close friend of mine and his wife to join me for a session. He and I served our country honorably in the 10th Special Forces Group, U.S. Army, where I was his commander. They are good people, respectful, and--importantly--this was only their second time ever playing bingo at any hall. My friend purchased the correct buy-in, but he was not handed the two receipts he should have received. A simple mistake. Instead of handling it with patience or professionalism, the bingo caller (a female staff member) confronted them in the open, right after intermission, in a way that was completely unnecessary and frankly embarrassing. I overheard the interaction. My friend was respectful, calm, and completely professional. He didn't argue, didn't make a scene--he simply stood up, turned in his machine, threw away his wife's cards, and quietly left with her. They had even left a positive review for this establishment before this incident. That alone should tell you what kind of people they are. What troubled me most was the caller's attitude throughout the entire session. She repeatedly announced to the room that she had been "inconvenienced," that she "shouldn't be the one calling," and that she had "seriously considered not doing bingo at all that day." That negativity was already making the atmosphere uncomfortable for everyone. But targeting a new couple--who simply didn't get the proper receipts from the staff--was uncalled for. In my professional opinion, her conduct was disrespectful and not conducive to the job she performs. Good customers, especially brand-new players trying to learn, should never be singled out or spoken to the way they were. Because of this incident, I'm urging all veterans--VFW, American Legion, retired, active-duty, and reserve--to think twice before supporting this bingo hall. If veterans aren't treated with basic courtesy here, then this is not a place for us. There are plenty of other halls--Concord, Vallejo, Pleasant Hill, and more--that welcome everyone. I've been to bingo halls all over the state, and I have never witnessed treatment like this. The management needs to seriously address the conduct of the caller who worked last Sunday. Until then, I cannot recommend the Bingo Emporium, and I will not be returning. Thank you. Mike read more

Nycole what you need to understand is that Napa bingo is smaller than some of the other Bay Area halls. If there are more people there Tracee has no problem raising the payouts. I read my text and nowhere does it give a payout price. Where were you looking? Usually when there is low turnout the reg. payouts are $250, so $280 was still an increase. Tracee has to deal with a lot angry people and she does a great job, she is always fair and does her best to make bingo enjoyable for all. awful person who runs this bingo! mean to all newcomers and kicked me and my friend out because we refused to move our car from the handicap parking spot so her mother could park in that spot. her reason she said was her mother was more disabled then I was. Sunday sept 3, 2023 I drove from Windsor ca to Napa to be treated as such. what a shame someone could actually be so cruel. only 2 handicap spots were available there and when I asked her to have the other person move their car she told me that was hers and she was the manager and didn't have to move. therefore she told us to leave and refused to serve us. Wow. this is a person who runs a non-profit large bingo located on the Napa fairgrounds. read more
