First things first. YOU do need a membership card, but its free. So before you begin shopping, head straight past registers, go to help KIOSK, type in your info, get the receipt, wait to get "the code" on your phone, then give both to the customer service person and get the membership card. All this would have been nice to know up front, before I went shopping. So. The store is HUGE but unlike other wholesale stores, it looks clean, brite, easy to navigate, signs clear and the aisles really flowed well and were organized, very little navigation issues. Produce selection and freshness blew me away. They had the typical apples, oranges, onions etc, but PLUMS? Watermelon?? A lot of variety. Then I moved to the open seasoning aisle and just wow!! Because behind that was nuts, seeds and sweets. All bins were clean and they have an attendant making sure it all stayed clean and no one was sampling AND once you chose what you wanted and bagged it, the attendant weighed and priced it. I appreciated the attention to keeping this section clean and attractive. Prepackaged fruit was definitely a win! The sliced mango I bought was sweet and at about $5. It was a good price because it was sliced thin, ripe and it was about 2 mangos in this packaged. There are a few freezer sections and the meat and poultry section is incredible. I checked out the yogurt section and there were brands I had never heard of, I just bought yogurt yesterday so I had to pass, but I'll be back, but as with a quick look I gave, I didnt see full day yogurt, which I prefer. All in all, it has good prices on cleaning products, the chocolate section is a chocolate lovers dream, the fresh produce is exceptional, I lost Tammy and Emi in the chips & snacks section, lol, but found them back in the pastry section where the baklava was calling my name. If you are in the area, check it out. I think it was the manager, though I'm not sure, that let us know the front aisles with tbe special chocolates and such would be moved soon to another section of the store, due to the Purim Holiday. I love the store. Clean bright great prices. I asked for a manager since i had a few constructive concerns i was told that there was no one there. So here we go. Cashiers and the clerks at customer service very unfriendly. Workers on the aisles hanging around while a lot of mess around them(too much fraternizing). I sked if some carts could be brought a little closer since it was raining heavily and elders and young moyhers had a hard time no one cared. What could've been a wonderful experience became one of utter discrimination and hatred directed at us, as my young son and I (Non-Jewish) were stared at, ignored and treated as third-class citizens as we shopped in "their" store. Initially, my young son and I were excited when entering this bright and fully stocked warehouse. We began to shop with amazement as we admired the excellent Mediterranean choices not seen in other stores. As we shopped, we noticed people starring at us. Still, we considered this normal as we well know that, unfortunately, the Hasidic community commonly treats non-Hasidic's this way. The discrimination and hatred directed towards us by the staff were cutting and unsettling. While entering checkout and after our items were on the conveyor belt, the cashier looked at us, walked away from the register and sat on the floor to assemble boxes. I waited about five minutes for her to return, but she did not. I finally walked over to her and asked her if she was going to ring us up? She would not look at me, and she did not answer, but after about five minutes, she walked over and began ringing up our purchases. We had a large order, probably hundreds of items. My son and I were bagging our piled-up things when the cashier asked for us to pay. (The entire conveyer belt was still full at this time) I entered my debit card, and she handed me my receipt. The cashier walked away and did not help us bag our items. I looked at my son to comfort him as his eyes showed confusion and discomfort. Shockingly, a Hasidic women came to this register for checkout, where we continued to bag as fast as we could. The same cashier returned to the register (while ignoring our presence and as if we were invisible), leaving our items piled up on the counter. She quickly began ringing up the Hassidic women behind us. This cashier refused to help us. As this woman was ready to exit, she began to push me and our very full and heavy cart out of her way, but there was no place for us to move. The only way to pass by would be to jump over us. This store put me in the position to tell this other customer; she would need to exit through an empty aisle as there was nowhere for her to go. Rather than helping us, once again, the cashier walked away to assemble boxes. At this point, I walked over to her and asked her to please help us. She continued to look away. I asked her why she rang the person behind us while we were still not checked out? She ignored me and continued to look down, and I repeated the question several times. I asked again, "please answer me, I would like to know why you are maltreating us?" Finally, she looked at me and replied, " I do not have to answer you". The Hasidic owned store and community made it known that we (Non-Jewish) are unwelcome! The unwelcome vibe has most likely already made well known to the Gentiles. FYI- (Every person in this store was either Hasidic or Orthodox Jewish, except for the workers, who appeared to be mostly Pakistanian.) With all of the media coverage related to discrimination, This behaviour is unacceptable and is morally reprehensible. Expect that your children will also have this experience when shopping at Bingo in Lakewood, NJ. ***Also equally important ,At this time in the Covid- pandemic, many shoppers either wore no mask or wore it around their necks. I live in a suburb of Philadelphia, a good friend lives in Philadelphia. She goes to Lakewood once a month or so and invited me along on her trip. We are both Jewish but not Orthodox. I didn't buy much but I thought the prices were reasonable for what I bought. The store was clean. I read the other reviews before I started typing this. Yes,the music is a bit annoying but it is typical Orthodox music and is to be expected. The few employees that I asked for help were polite and helpful. It was obvious that we were not Orthodox. Orthodox women wear long skirts-usually black or brown. My friend had on blue jeans and I was wearing sweat pants. I understand why this store is part of her regular trip to Lakewood. She asked if I wanted to go back with her some other time. I said yes. I wish they would open a store in the Philadelphia area. read more

Well worth the trip from Philly, especially since meat and meat products there are less than half the cost in Philly in most cases. I like to stock up, and the last time I was there adding in gas and the toll, I still saved over 230 bucks. The quality is very good too. Two things I really love are the spices available in bulk amounts and the many types of halva. Trying to figure out why some say the place isn't friendly or has bad customer service, with one I saw complaining it was prejudice against non-Jews. One, I may be Orthodox in practice, but I'm also a 6'3 300lb biker. I've never had anything except courtesy and help if I needed it, so the looking "of the nations" can't be it. Two, why would a non Jew shop at a kosher market that in most cases, is more expensive than a standard store. I call mishagos on that one and the real bigot is little miss 1 star LOL. Really great warehouse full of kosher food, and accessories! It was very cheap, I brought maybe like 80 items and it only turned out to be about 400.00. Staff is friendly,as the cashiers, and move quickly. The people behind the food stands are not friendly. They don't really smile at you or at look at you when you want something. The aisles are easy to navigate, and are marked appropriately. Easy to navigate as well! It's a little bit out of the way for me but overall it's good to come once in a while! The membership is free, so that's a plus! read more

So this is the second time I've been in this store. It is a whole sale kosher grocery store in Lakewood New Jersey. I went in a Friday morning and was worried that it would be crowded with people shopping for the Sabbath but it wasn't. There were probably more non- Jewish people there than Jewish. You have to be a member to get the deals but it's just a matter of signing up. I think I've reviewed this store before but I want to reiterate that the produce prices are really good for this area. I got tomatoes on the vine for $1 a pound and cucumbers for 50 cents each. Normally in this area the cheapest I can find them is 3 for $2. The produce is in good shape. The other thing is really like is the bulk spices. Many people I talk to don't like this idea because they are open to the air and people worry about germs. I like that there is a wide variety of spices and some that are difficult to find including spice mixes. What are the negatives? Well the music they play is very annoying to this gentile lol. The aisles were full of boxes from being restocked and many items have description that aren't written in English. Other than that I believe I will keep shopping there when I'm in the area but probably not when the farm markets are open (I like supporting local sellers) read more

Your customer service is abyssmal. We had stopped in for a few things including light bulbs. The light bulbs were on a display rack in the middle of an aisle. There were a variety on display of different sizes and wattages and it was clear they were for sale. We grabbed the two we needed and went to look for additional items which unfortunately they didn't have in stock. We went to check out with our light bulbs and the cashier told us the items wouldn't scan and they couldn't sell them to us. Seriously?!? In any other store a clerk would have gone to check the price and rung it up as an open item. Instead we left empty handed. If this was the first problem I'd give them another shot but this is just a repeat in a series of poor performance. read more
