Any devotee of Asian cuisine will tell you that milk tea and smoothies with boba are one of their guilty pleasures and I am no exception. For me this is a huge step up from a fountain drink or milk shake at a fast food restaurant. Don't ask me to explain the appeal of adding tapioca pearls to a beverage. All I know is virtually every customer order theirs with boba and there's just something uniquely satisfying about chewing on those little gummy balls as you enjoy this tasty treat. This is my regular stop for both milk tea and smoothies and I'm in here at least once or twice per month after shopping at Lee Lee Supermarket. They offer the standard assortment of regular flavors along with a few seasonal and specialty flavors. My favorite flavors include Mango, Lychee, and unsweetened Matcha Green Tea. I've also tried Passion Fruit and Avocado, both of which were also good. Their small size is plenty for one person and their regular size is enough for two. Coming from SoCal, I must admit that my boba standard is pretty high. Being one of two sole options for boba in Tucson, Bing's got my business a couple times. It's been a 2-3 star experience for me. PROs: -stamp cards (although they switched to a new card system in April and all your old points expired...) -quick service, they have lots of employees so drinks are made super quickly -solid drinks includes: milk tea, thai milk tea, matcha milk tea CONs: -boba balls: the taste is bland, and the consistency is just.... disappointing, just... disappointing. The boba balls are soggy and mushy and gross, sighhhh where can a girl find honey boba in this town?!? - tea: the last time I visited, I tried the "herbal peach/apricot tea" and it was just a bland, watered down, tea-like cold cup of water.... it was like a 0/5... Overall, Bing's is convenient as it is in the Lee Lee's plaza. But after I discovered the other option Cha time... I don't think I'll be coming back to Bing's anymore. Anyways, the lack of good boba options in Tucson might be a sign from the universe to tell me to stop consuming so much boba... all that sugar might give me diabetes one day :( read more

This place seems to be the only boba place around here which is unfortunate. I've been here maybe 5 times each time ordering a different thing and each time being disappointed but I kept coming back in hopes that there would be improvement if I chose something else but nope. Each time I have been here my boba tea has been bland as all hell. I dont know what it is, possibly the use of too much ice or just not enough of that powder mix or whatever they use to flavor the teas but all 5 times, 5 different flavors have tasted like water with just a slight essence of the flavor I had chosen. I even chose coffee jelly over regular boba for my last time there cause I was expecting bland(which i correctly guessed) and was hopeing that the coffee jelly would add that extra flavor but nope! its like sippin on shaved ice. I would like to know what other people ordered that gave 5 stars cause Ive been all over that menu from th teas to the snow and i think there is a 3rd selection and nothing. The only thing I could put it down to is due to this place being maybe the only boba place in Tucson people here think this bland assault on the tastebuds is the norm and its supposed to taste like that. They offer more than boba including frozen drinks that sounded great. I chose an almond boba & HAD to specify I wanted tapioca boba for a nominal extra charge ($0.50). I did find that odd. There is limited seating inside (about 5 tables) and NO outdoor seating. This is the tle of place you park, order & leave. Free parking is provided right in front of establishment. It's tucked in the corner next to an Asian market. If you're not looking for it, you won't find it. Affordable: 3 boba teas with bobas = $13 and some change. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! Super friendly people, pretty decent price list and so many choices!!! I will be coming her often as I love boba and I am excited to try all of Bings flavor of slushes. They also have shaved ice which I love for my little one who is not as big of a fan of boba as I am. The consistency of the slush was great and the amount of boba in the slush is plentiful. My oldest daughter had a jasmine tea and she loved it. I dont like tea but she is a huge fan and so for her to say it was amazing is a big deal. I've tried a couple different boba places, but Bing's is the best! The flavor, the price, the service...you can't go wrong! My favorite is the Taro Slush. Funny, this plaza reminds me of the one in Chandler, AZ, right next to a Lee Lee's market. However I must say, I wasn't too impressed. They have a great selection of flavors as well a flavored jelly but the drink itself was a little off. My friend ordered the thai tea and just by looking at it you can tell they had put too much creamer. I tried the avocado smoothie, which was good, but i couldn't really taste the avocado flavor. This bubble tea is so-so. Some of the flavors are real and some are powder. Make sure to ask which is which. It seems like they always have three real fruit flavors--I'd go with those. Their boba is great! Not too chewy or too sweet. They also have a pretty good variety. The almond milk tea was way too strong in an artificial flavor, and there was a clump of almond powder at the bottom. I admit I'm a bit of a bubble tea snob, but I think they could do better. So I'm from Los Angeles, where there is a boba spot in every corner and good ones too...so I finally moved out here and found this spot. I come here soo much that i can tell when my drink is not done right. I completely understand that they can only mix 2 flavors. They always mix 3 wether I pay extra or just get a shot of the third flavor on the side or something. I'm willing to pay double just to make the boba I want. If it cant be done then it cant be done but I know the young guy in there always does it for me and he even remembered me. Well the cashier which was a girl didnt even bother to ask or care about my situation. I was willing to pay double just to add a shot of flavor. Customer service was poor and I felt my boba was made with no consistency. By the way, I was the only customer, they had 3 employees and still couldn't go above and beyond for a customer...what a shame...guess I have to go to the boba spot at the mall now! read more

Loved it the first time I came, that's the reason for two stars. The second time I came the staff was literally taking pictures of each other with a DSLR camera behind the counter.. They'd hide the camera when customers would come in. So strange and unprofessional.. also, they filled my boba tea up to the TOP of the cup with ice and there was probably 5 ounces of boba tea in my drink, maybe less. So I paid $4.50 for a crap ton of ice and some bobas stuck in the bottom of my cup. Not impressed. read more

I was not a fan of Boba, but was called out to this location while I had a kiddo under my care a while ago. After locking my keys in my car after a trip to Lee Lee's, I stopped by once again and ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba. I picked that specific flavor because I'm a huge fan of both Jasmine and Green teas and don't typically like fruit-flavored drinks. This flavor is AMAZING. It's not overwhelmingly jasmine, as the milk tea produces a heavier medium than water and grounds out a bit of the flavor. The texture is pretty pleasing. This topped with random tapioca pearls produces a fun drink. Interaction with the staff is pretty minimal. I ordered and they were able to provide me with my beverage promptly. This place has become more and more popular and seems to be a nice place to just sit and relax a little while catching up with an old friend. Dang it. As if my money needed somewhere else to go. I'm pretty sure I'm a fan at this point. read more

Drove by to Foothills Mall and due to reviews got a Taro Snow with boba. Incredibly, the boba again surprised me! Being in a snow, boba usually gets hard and not tasty, but somehow Bing's is still soft and delicate even as I finished my snow. It does make me slightly worried about general chemical additives that could be in there. The Taro snow was good. I got it half as sweet as normal as the clerk said it was really sweet. I think if what I had really was half as sweet, that's just about the perfect amount of sweetness. I wouldn't know how people can stomach full sweetness. It's a nice creamy refreshing drink, but definitely not true taro taste. Oh well. Still impressed with Bing's boba, just not so much what they put them into. I probably would still come back, but given it's so far out NW from me, I'd have to be a nearby to make a stop. read more

I've been a regular at both locations since the first location opened, which was very close to my home. I spent a year and a half to try all of the drinks on the menu. Now I've learned which drinks I would order for sure depending on the weather. The staff is mostly friendly, and there are very few old staff members that recognize me. The owners have changed which I'm sad about. They were very nice. I miss them a lot! The cup designs have changed since, and there's so much variety of drinks to choose from. The cinnamon snow is the only drink I know that tastes pretty funny.. The last time I came to the OG location, the girl at the front was being very unfriendly. I understand people have long days, but is it really necessary to be that curt to a customer? No. Fortunately another staff member apologized for her behavior. Oh man. Bings is a pretty decent boba place. Their boba is okay and their Milk Teas are also okay. I wish there were more Boba options like Crystal Boba or mini boba. I LOVE Bings! Other people have startbucks, I've got Bings. There's only two other places in Tucson that sell Boba Tea (which I've found) and Bings is by far the best. Boba is soft, Taro flavor is not too sweet, milk tea is not too bitter and the varieties are endless. When I travel I always hit up boba places...yet still, Bings has my heart. I hate that they are so far NW in town, but well worth the drive (and you get to shop at Lee Lees oriental market too!) I wish "Bing" would open another store in a more central area...like Speedway/Wilmot by trader joes :) read more
