I may have made the mistake of ordering outside of the lemonades on the menu: I found my Kahuna Koffee Smoothie to be overly gritty with a harsh flavor, but the Butterfly Mojito Lemonade was awesome: great balance and depth of sweetness and tart puckering sour deliciousness. I tried the watermelon basil lemonade, which is the perfect drink for summer weather. It has a balance of sweet and refreshing flavors with real fruit for a decent price. My flatbread sandwich had a fair amount of lettuce, cucumber, and tropical fruit on it- tied together with hummus. I have been here several times over the past few years. I was highly disappointed today -- with the service and the food. I walked in and said hi to the young lady by the register. She said nothing back to me -- absolutely nothing. No hello...no may I help you....nothing. I finally just told her what I wanted. She went and prepared it. After ringing me up, I thanked her. Again...crickets. No response from her at all. When I tasted the smoothie it was very salty tasting which was very weird since it was a fruit smoothie. I did not drink anymore of it. My favorite way to cool down is with a refreshing beverage. After hiking I needed more than water. Came here based on their high rating and reviews. Had no clue what to try but the Blue Hawaii lemonade caught my eye. Tart and bright from the lemon, naturally sweet and creamy from the coconut, and earthy and slightly seaweed-like from the spirulina. When mixed well you can't taste the spirulina itself but all the wonderful and good for you benefits are present. Spirulina is a good source of protein, vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. The shop is cute and very clean and offers a few indoor tables and chairs. The menu features much more than just creative lemonades, they also offer toasts, flatbreads, smoothies, açaí bowls, salads, coffee, tea, and poke bowls. I spend time in Hawaii and they have some of the flavors that I love including Lillikoi so I had the Lillikoi butter toast that had lillikoi butter, sliced strawberries and some macadamia nuts. It was quite delicious. I have been a fan of Lillikoi butter for years and see that they sell jars of it as well. The large selection of lemonade flavors is overwhelming but fun. I had the pineapple-ginger, two of my favorite flavors. I ate inside where they have some tables and chairs and a video playing of people in Hawaii surfing or dancing. Took the fam to Wow Wow and it was a nice break for a hot day. The menu has changed a bit since we were last in and the staff was helpful in explaining the new menu items. We got the PLG lemonade and Cobb grain bowl with the Elite promo and the Blue Lava and Lilikoi butter toast as part of the $8 combo deal. The PLG was our favorite. We liked how the passion fruit balanced well with the strong citrus punch the lemon gave. The Blue Lava was creamy with the coconut milk and the pineapple was a nice flavor combo. The Lilikoi butter is amazing with the crushed macadamia adding some nice crunch. The avocado and quinoa in the Cobb bow made it feel filling and substantial. If you're going to get a lemonade and something to eat, take advantage of the combos which will save $2-$3. They have great selection of lemonade and coffee. They have a great loyalty program(download the app before going it's called wow wow lemonade). The drive thru is so convenient but to be honest I never used it I always just walk in. They have a cute gift shop on the left side of the restaurant (has the cutest air fresheners I've ever seen ). I love mostly everything I've had here-- keep in mind that some drinks are more tart than others, but just ask the staff and they'll help you. I like trying new lemonades each time and usually like a black tea based one for a little caffeine boost. I love all the toasts but I mostly order the black lava salt flatbread with extra lime.
