Had this in drafts from OCT 2024, but looks like I didn't finish it so I'll try my best now. My husband (fiancé at the time) and I attended a wedding here. We also looked at this venue for our wedding as well, but decided to go somewhere else. I'm glad we did. During the initial visit, everything sounded great, but it was nothing like that when we actually went to the wedding. The photos they showed us of the charcuterie tables had so much food on them, but at the actual wedding it was not even close to what those pictures looked like. Additionally, we asked about adding Hayburner to serve if we chose this venue, and they said no. We loved that you can buy their meats in the butcher shop. We did get a variety of things, but honestly none of them were super life changing or anything. Now let's get to the wedding review! Venue: The grounds are beautiful but the tent wasn't the best party and dinner area, especially if it's a little colder. The tent was cold. They had heaters but it was difficult to feel them unless you were right under in. Which in that case it felt like a sauna. The ground is all stones, so any ladies wearing heels- walk carefully. I really wish it was a concrete floor or an actual larger building. The dance floor was also super tiny and didn't fit a whole lot of people. Passed hors d'oeuvres: - Mini street tacos 7/10 Don't remember what else they had. Family style dinner: not nearly enough room on any of the tables to be served this way. There's no extra room for the plates of food. It was also super dark in here by the time dinner was served so it was really kinda difficult to see. - Lifecycle Salad 8/10 - horseradish smashed potatoes 5/10 I hate that they only offer mashed potatoes this way because I hate horseradish. - I think they might have also had risotto? But I honestly don't remember. - chicken 8/10 Actually not bad. - sliced beef tenderloin 7/10 Disappointed because I thought this was going to be so good but it really wasn't. It was pretty bland. I don't remember if it was too raw or overcooked, but I remember it not being cooked right so I didn't eat it. Amazing farm to table dinner! This is NOT a tasting menu where you just take a bite each of a 10 course meal. This is, wear elastic waisted clothes and come hungry, kind of 10 course dining experience. Portions are HUGE! In a party of 8, with 3 large men, everyone had left over to take home. Food was so delicious and I love that they locally source most of the food and butcher their own meat. During the intermission, yes, there was a 20 min intermission, we stepped outside for a breather by the fire they had started at which time they brought out a sweet little treat: mandarins orange topped with Grand Marnier, raw sugar sugar, then bruleed (torched). A lovely experience. Not only was everything delicious but the Chef is a perfect mix of professional, knowledgeable, fun, friendly, and generous. He clearly takes pride in his craft. Particularly appreciated how he encouraged his staff with kind words. Servers were friendly and efficient. It's pricy but I thought the quality and quantity of food and he dining experience were well worth it. I can't wait to come back! read more

My girlfriend and I attended a wedding here, absolutely gorgeous event space, the wait staff was super accommodating, and the food was absolutely outstanding! Would absolutely recommend as a contender for someone looking to have a wedding in WNY. Incredibly quiet, an intimate space and I cannot overstate how good the food was. Great place for a wedding venue. The grounds are well thought out and accommodating for entertainment. The water features are a great backdrop for pictures and post ceremony mingling. The bar was well suited. The event tent was situated nicely and had all the drop downs necessary for any weather. The lounge areas with fire pits are spread out for intimate social interactions. Wow! We loved our first order from Binksberry. We were told about it from a friend and ended up placing an order online. Any order over $50 was delivered for free within 50 miles- what a great perk as we live about 25 miles from the farm. The people who delivered were so kind with a smile! We tried the unstuffed banana pepper sausage and it was to die for. Highly recommend! We also tried the meat sticks- so yummy. My husband and I got married at Binksberry last week and we have nothing but amazing things to say. Katie was our coordinator, but we also regularly spoke to Steve and Kristi. Through the entire process, the communication was top notch. The food was beyond amazing. We had several guests comment on how it was the best wedding food they've ever had. LVE the idea of farm to table butchery! We went for a nice country drive on the weekend & bought Chorizo & pepper jerky! The Chorizo was delicious! (We put it on Cuban Eggs Benedict!). My husband and boys devoured the jerky. I had never tried jerky; but was willing to try given the source & I found it to taste fresh and similar to bacon--it was good! I am so happy we found out about Binksberry Hollow for all of our meat. Chef Binks and his staff are so friendly and welcoming explaining all of their products and how they raise, process and package. I was equally impressed on how clean and sanitary the shop and farm was...such a beautiful property. I am looking forward to heading back to try something new since the chicken, sausage, burgers and steaks we have tried are out of this world!! read more
