Thankfully, he was staying at Puppy Haven. The staff noticed right away that something wasn't right. They called me immediately, stayed calm, explained what they were seeing, and reassured me that they were taking action. They quickly transported him to a local urgent care vet they knew and trusted (who was also amazing). What really blew me away was what happened next. An employee stayed with him at the vet to hear the diagnosis, learned that he needed to be transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery, and then personally took him there as well. Since then, they've checked in multiple times to see how he's doing. It was honestly a pretty awful situation, but Puppy Haven made it so much better. Their attentiveness, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond for one of their dogs is something I'll never forget. We are incredibly grateful and thankful to have a place where we can leave our pups and truly not have to worry. If you're looking for a daycare or boarding facility that genuinely cares about your dogs, Puppy Haven is it.

First, my old lady terrier mix had an ear infection that my typical treatment of ear cleaning could not resolve, so I brought her in for professional care. A few weeks later, my heart dog had developed a nasty case of the itchies on his underside, so I brought him in for some relief. I saw a different doctor on each visit but both were great in their own way. I felt like my pups were in good hands the whole time. I followed each doctor's recommendations for my babies and their issues cleared up almost instantly. I really like that they have an online account where I can request appointments or review my pets' histories and treatments. I also love how friendly and helpful everyone on staff is. Not only did they make me feel comfortable, but they eased my old girl's nerves and much to my surprise, let my heart dog, Rex, put his guard down. I normally have to keep a muzzle on him when outside of the house because he can be unpredictable and I worry that he might get nippy with a vet, especially a new one. That was not the case here at all. Rex was on his best behavior and seemed to even enjoy his visit, which is a first for him. He was so relaxed that I took his muzzle off just before they were going to give him a shot. I worried that he might react negatively to the shot but he took it like a champ and loved the attention he got from staff. He was in such a good mood, that I snapped a pic of him in the exam room and I swear he was so happy, he looked like he was smiling! I like Paw Patch Animal Clinic, which is where I had first taken Rex when I moved from Miami, but I switched to CAC because it was closer to my house and I am glad I did since my baby really likes it there. I was provided with an estimate ahead of time and given an opportunity to accept or decline the vet's recommendations. Neither visit was particularly cheap (nothing really is these days), but I felt like the costs were reasonable considering the quality of service provided. CAC will definitely be my preferred vet from now on and I am happy to offer this enthusiastic recommendation on their behalf!

Our French Bulldog, Bella, is paralyzed in her hind legs and was struggling with chronic UTIs and recurring ear infections. We were forced to move from Rose's Animal Hospital (unfortunately they closed), and we moved to CAC, who had months to address these issues. Instead, they kept bringing us back in, running the same expensive tests over and over, and prescribing the same antibiotics without ever getting to the root of the problem. The bills piled up and we were CONSTANTLY bringing her in, but more concerning was the complete lack of genuine concern for ACTUALLY treating and resolving her issues. We finally left CAC- frustrated, exhausted, and no longer willing to watch Bella suffer with these recurring issues. Within ONE MONTH of switching to Roswell VETS4PETS, the difference in Bella's health was finally resolved. Their vets identified the underlying allergies causing her ear problems and created a real care plan for reducing UTIs. She has done a complete 180 since being under their care. If you love your pet and want real solutions- not endless bills and bandaid fixes- go to VETS4PETS. I cannot recommend them enough. CAC should be ashamed of the way they operate and should seriously reflect on their priorities as a veterinary clinic.

The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session. My dog was brought in to board from Sept 3-9. When I brought her in on Sept 3, I left written…read moreinstructions that said the following: Give Trazadone half a pill once a day at bedtime. She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

I told the manager to go to Hamby Road Animal Hospital to get more food and have them call me for my credit card. No one followed through and when we got back my dog had lost two pounds because she wasn't getting enough to eat. It was very noticeable when I picked her up. Then Covid started and the lobby shut down. There were less employees too so for years now I've never seen the dogs outside like I used to. Plus our dog seemed hoarse the second to last time she was boarded there which struck us as odd. Last March 2023, I had to have surgery. We boarded our dog for only two nights. When she was picked up, not only was she hoarse again but she had to poop 3 times in a row. So we surmised she was put in her room and ignored. She would only bark if she need to go out or wanted her play and walk times I was paying for. Our dog was so well house broken that she held her poop and barked to be taken out so much she got hoarse. We decided that she would never go there again. She is dead now from cancer but the two trips we made last year before she got sick, we took her with us. We decided not to use this place anymore.

My bf has been taking his dog here for both day care and boarding for several months and the last…read moretime we traveled, we decided to board both his dog and mine at Pet Lodge. I had previously taken my dog to Wagalot, closer to where I live, and they require a "trial" of daycare before you are allowed to board them. Pet Lodge didn't require that which was convenient for me but also made me a bit apprehensive about the dog population. Both dogs stayed here from Thursday evening through Monday midday and it all seemed to go great. Everything we dropped off for them was returned to us and the employees were all very nice. We had them stay in a junior suite which is $45 for the first dog and $35 for the second. My bf booked his dog for additional play sessions but since mine is lazy I decided not to. They seemed well cared for when we picked them up. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because of the lack of technology. They have an online booking system which is convenient, but it's not super user friendly and I ended up still having to email them my dogs vaccination records although I had already uploaded them. Also, there are no cameras here. A lot of boarding/daycare businesses offer that as an option which gives pet owners peace of mind. It would have been nice to have that option but definitely not a deal breaker. We will definitely continue to board and daycare the doggos here in the future.

Each time my husband dropped her off. The first time my husband picked her up and when she got home she was coughing, vomiting and had diarrhea. I had to take her to the emergency room. The second time, I went with him to pick her up and when we got her home she had diarrhea and couple days later she started vomiting and her stool look like it had blood in it so again we had to take her to the emergency room only this time she did not make it. My baby passed away. I call the facility and spoke with a staff member to ask about any charge in her behavior and was told that she was extremely scared and was shaking. This is a behavior change. Someone should have contacted me to say that she was not happy there and was scared for her life or shaking. I understand it take money to run a facility. Yet! The first thing the staff members should realize is that these animals are our family and if something is not right with them call the owners and let us know. If only ONE staff member would have called me, I could have gotten her out of there by having transported to the hospital and my little Bella will still be here. Please think twice before you leave your love one at this boarding facility. The staff members need more training and need to know that these animals are not just dogs, they are our family. I'm crying as I am writing this review because all it took was a phone call and my baby will still be here.
