I always guilty, like I was enabling animal cruelty by shopping there. I still work nearby, and go about 20 miles out of my way to shop in a different store. The store is dirty and smelly. The cages are dirty and smelly. Not animal smelly, weeks and weeks of animal poop, and dead animals decomposing, smelly. I used to routinely find dead fish, and reptiles in cages, and occasionally dead birds. The store was renovated in the last year or two, and improved somewhat, but the comments at the start about enabling animal cruelty remain poignantly applicable. The lady who runs the store, and I presume owns it, is polite and friendly, and seems to have a small regular network of people who come in to visit, so no negative comment about her, but this is a fruit that has rotted on the vine.

While our family was out of town, my father boarded his dog at this facility. Due to inadequate security measures (confirmed by a confidential message to us by one of their employees) she got out and went missing on Friday morning. Shockingly, my father was not contacted until late Saturday afternoon and only received a vague text asking if he could talk. When he called back, there was no response. It wasn't until Sunday morning, (over 40 hours later) after he followed up again, that he was told his dog was missing. Even more concerning, the owner flat out lied about when the dog went missing. She claimed it happened on Saturday, but both the Humane Society and the Good Samaritan who found the dog confirmed it was Friday morning. This was not a misunderstanding--it was a clear attempt to mislead our family about the timeline. Thanks to the community, the dog was found and safely returned. However, the lack of timely communication, the negligence that led to her escape, and the dishonesty from the owner made a terrible situation even worse. Based on our experience, we cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to any pet owner.

I sent them over an email and they had the food delivered later that afternoon. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Every time I talk to the owners of Nature's Select they are always so kind and helpful. They provide exceptional services, and their rates are very reasonable for the work that they do. Keeping care of our horses is a top priority, and being able to go to a veterinarian that you trust means everything. They gave me some steroids to help contain the growth and made me me an appointment to come back one week later I called the day before to make sure they received her blood work from her regular vet. They claim they didn't even have her on the schedule, but they would work her in. I get there for her procedure, they want me to sign something that tells me how much it's going to be. It's the same document I had before, except it was supposed to be half the price because I opted out of the bloodwork. My quote was originally $400 approximately, decreased down to $200 because of declining the bloodwork. However, they claim this was a mistake. And actually came back with a larger amount to pay. They were not going to honor the original quote that they gave me. The new quote was going to be anywhere from $370-$620. What a joke. I left. "Sorry" they say. That's the thing about saying sorry. Apparently these days it can get you out of anything.

Today I saw Dr. Dinges, Laurie(vet tech, who's been working with him for decades, and I met Tanner, a nice young assistant. Dr. D gets to the problem and doesn't overcharge to figure it out. He's kind and reasonable. The best!! Highly recommend. Clean clinic.
