Use Bio Clean if you need mold remediation done right!!! These past few months my son has been sick with a cough that seemed to be turning into asthma. I wasn't sure what was the cause as it started to happen pretty soon after moving into our new house. I had Bio Clean come out and test my house to see what was in the air. They did an inspection of my home and found that we had a water leak under our sink that resulted in mold. The test that they took came back high for certain molds that could be causing my son's asthma to get worse. The unfortunate part for me was that the mold levels in the rest of our bedrooms were also in an unsafe mold. I had John and his team come out right away, and they were able to clean up all the mold throughout our house. He also suggested a mold fumigation process that we went with as well. I cannot say enough good things about John and his company. We moved into a house that had cats and I was having allergy issues. I looked at many allergy remediation services but they mostly just offered to bring HEPA filters to the house, which I knew wouldn't work. John was very knowledgeable on allergies and pet dander. He is actually one of the few people out there who is an NCEAA- Certified Environmental Allergen Assessor. He suggested we try ClO2 fogging and we did. It worked great! 3 months after buying our first place--an apartment in SF--my fiance started to feel very sick. He's extremely mold sensitive so we had a mold test done. Wow, I was referred to Good Housekeeping by a friend. I called, John answered and showed up 2 hours later to clean the carpets in our 5 bedroom 2 story house. John Watt changed my life Not kidding Long story short....I had been living in this completely uninhabitable apartment. Mold infested, termite infested, mice. I was so sick and so was my dog. rashes, brain fog,always felt sick,congested, coughing. I have used Good Housekeeping to clean my carpets for 4-5 years now. John and his staff are extremely professional and courteous and my carpets always look great. They even return to re-clean spots if they reappear within 6 months. They are very flexible with scheduling and rescheduling and are always very prompt. John is a jack-of-all-trades. Just the best! I have been in my home for over 35 years and ever since I found Good Housekeeping, John has been cleaning my carpets and windows. He is extremely personable, prompt, efficient and reliable. I am a licensed daycare provider and work with children in my home. John and I were talking one day and he told me about a Bioprotection Treatment that he started using that might help with the children's allergies. The treatment can be used indoors and will eliminate pollen, dust mites, mold, odors, bacteria and viruses and germs. I just had to give it a try. We were not sure it would work long term since I use the garage as a playroom for the children. John came over one morning and treated the garage and then came back later that day. I was amazed that in the weeks following the treatment, my allergies were better and I noticed a definite difference in the children as well. I've lived in Foster City for over 20 years, and along the way I've tried various carpet and home cleaners. When I found Good Housekeeping, I was delighted to realize they were the BEST at what they do, and in 10 years I've never switched. Here are the highlights: 1. They do outstanding work--from carpet cleaning, to windows, to cleaning and sealing grout, stone, and tile--they get it right. 2. They will come back if you're not happy. I had a mystery stain on new carpeting that would look great when they left, but it would be back in a couple of days. Good Housekeeping kept on it--ultimately they pulled the carpet back to the subfloor and found a pool of sugary drink that kept coming up through the padding and carpet. They got rid of it, retacked the carpet, and cleaned it. They are truly not happy until you are happy. 3. They are always on time, or else they will let you know if they are running late. I think. They never run late. 4. No creepy people. Everyone I've encountered at Good Housekeeping, from John, the awesome owner, to the nice people on the phone, to the rest of the staff I've met are professional, pleasant, and honest. They made my 8 year on stained sofa truly look like NEW and did some kind of magic on my white doggie urine stained carpet that other cleaning companies have tried to clean but never succeeded. Not only does he do an excellent job cleaning my carpets, at very reasonable rates, (through two teenagers in the beginning and now two adults and two very hairy and "accident prone" dogs), but yesterday he came out and cleaned my heating system air ducts for the second time. Prior to air duct cleaning, I could be assured of a weeklong headache from the dust once the heater was turned on for the first time in the Fall. NOT ANYMORE! There are two reasons I keep calling Good Housekeeping: one is the quality of his work; John keeps my carpets looking beautiful and smelling clean.
