Gross mold from the rainy weather
    Emily C.

We had a small water leak from one of our windows, and it was super easy to set up appointments with Frank. Him and his team were efficient and killed the mold and nicely remove the drywall that was effected. Since we needed lots of time to actually locate the source of the leak (I needed another team for that part), Frank was very patient and again, super well to work with. He was also very nice as understanding when our insurance was taking forever for payment processes. In the end, I'm VERY satisfied with the results and I would HIGHLY recommend them!! Very patient, easy communication, great work and results.

disclaimer inreport: "observations described in the report represent conditions only at the specified times and locations."

As the owners who hired Mr. DiBlasi to help with mold remediation, I can say that Miss Audrey B.'s review is false and inaccurate. The samples was taken Monday, Oct 23, 2023 at 9: 30 AM (See image below that the inspector provided to us). The contractors HAVE YET to complete their work until Monday , Oct 23, 2023 at 11 AM that day. So, the results are inaccurate since the full work has not yet been completed. I may not be a mold expert, but the total number of spore outside the unit ( raw count 4,086) is more than inside the unit (raw count 2,978) in the report Miss. Audrey's inspector provided. To me, this suggest there is less mold in her unit than in the general environment, so I would say Mr. DiBlasi did a pretty darn good job even before final completion. Mr. DiBlasi has already challenge Miss Audrey's inspector to obtain another sample with work now completed. As we all know from basic science, the environment is full of mold. So, it not possible for the raw count to be zero. The report from the inspector also showed numerous disclaimers (see photos) So, I am disappointed that Miss Audrey B. would slander one of the few contractors that are still HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, and who still take PRIDE in his work. We met Mr. DiBlasi in 2021, when he restored massive water damage for us. After we talked with numerous contractors ( many who came off as salesman type who cannot explain their recommended expanded scope of work ), we met Mr. DiBlasi and he was able to clearly explained his recommendations. He seem incredibly honest and is just a family man trying to do his best in this HCOL area. He efficiently completed the work for us. That room will be our future nursery and you can take from THAT how much we trust his work. So, when there is another water intrusion issue in our family, we immediately contacted Mr. DiBlasi since we greatly trust his expertise. Lastly, Ms. Audrey's B. project manager/mold contractor "Armando Velazquez" has demonstrated incredible unprofessional behavior with threatening Mr. Dibalsi with an inaccurate report. Furthermore, he is very aggressive in insisting on destroying our unit's flooring and kitchen in his recommendation with complete rebuild. Which is interesting since we did not hire him for our unit. I am still awaiting for an ACCURATE report to further determine how to work with Ms. Audrey B. since our family is not in the habit of making false accusation without all the information. Mr. DiBlasi and his team is beyond 5 stars in our book! We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

A friend recommended Frank and Diblasi Restoration to us after our home was flooded. Frank also came by to help restore our house after water damage. We contacted 3 restoration companies. His quote was very reasonable (unlike one company that had an insanely high estimate that seemed to be taking advantage of the urgency) and in line with one other company. His team's work included sealing off the space, removing the trim, old floorboards and the bottom of the drywall, setting up blowers and dehumidifiers, and then spraying down some mold spots afterwards. His crew was quick, professional, and careful around the space. He explained clearly the steps he was taking, the trade-offs we could make, and what our next steps should be. He communicated clearly and often. This was despite being very busy after the major storm. He also sent us invoices and documentation promptly. Of the contractors we'd worked with recently, I think Frank communicated the clearest and the job turned out great.

We just recently noticed mold coming through our walls in the nook area of our kitchen. I requested quotes from local restoration companies on yelp. I received a response from DiBlasi restoration. After a few consultations, we decided to go with DiBlasi for the mold issue. They did a fabulous job. They were quick and effective with such a neat, protective area where the mold had been accumulating. The sheet rock lines that were cut in the walls were precise and straight. Which makes a difference for so many reasons. The whole process was done very well! Thanks so much, Frank!

They provided a very fair quote, but we ended up having to put the project on hold. When we were finally ready to revisit it, they were willing to honor the original estimate, which we really appreciated. This is our first home and the first major renovation project we've undertaken, so we were a little apprehensive going into the process. We ultimately decided to expand the project into a full remodel, and even with the additional scope, the updated price remained very reasonable and close to what we had originally expected to spend. Once the project started, everything moved quickly and smoothly through each phase. Communication was timely and responsive, which helped keep the project moving efficiently from start to finish. Tony, the foreman, and his team were extremely detail-oriented and did exceptional work. The craftsmanship really shows in the finished bathroom. Everything looks carefully installed and precise, and the tile work in particular is incredibly clean. We're extremely happy with how the bathroom turned out and with the overall experience, especially for our first major home project. We would use them again for future projects and highly recommend them.

Thank you Joseph and Avi for coordinating everything so well. We absolutely love our new bathroom!

Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

There have been multiple unresolved issues with the quality of work and follow-through. One example is an LED light that continues to flicker. It has been more than six months, with many calls and text messages, but the issue still has not been fixed. Another example is damage to our garage cabinet, where a hole was created during the work. We are still waiting for this to be repaired as well. Overall, the lack of timely resolution and poor communication after the project has been extremely frustrating.

My bathroom was very outdated and probably hadn't been updated since the house was constructed in 1960. I met with more than five contractors and from the start, Yovel proved he had experience, a point of view on what would work for us, and an easy going manner. LB's quote was fair and they were upfront about potential change orders or other costs that might come up (not surprising for such an outdated bathroom!). Throughout the project, Yovel kept me updated on progress and sought my opinion when different options were available on how to proceed. In one instance, he came up with a great way to cut the tile so I could avoid paying for a whole extra box. The updates were particularly important for me because I didn't stay at the house during this renovation, because this was my only bathroom. I gave me the peace of mind that everything was under control when I couldn't personally be there to oversee things or give input. My previous roommate and I were absolutely thrilled with the final result, and the showers were a big selling point when I sold off my condo. Fast forward 2 years later and we purchased our first house which needed a lot of cosmetic renovations. Both bathrooms were very outdated with cracked tiles, smudged or old fixtures, bathtub, vanity, etc so we needed a full gut. They may be fine for small tiling jobs, or a cheap kitchen flip that you don't care about the quality but anything beyond that is a mistake. Project Experience: -Disorganized & Poor Communication: Ruben, the contractor, constantly miscommunicated with his crew, leading to errors and wasted time. The crew speaks limited English, and Ruben failed to properly relay instructions. -Constant Rescheduling & Delays: The project was plagued with intentional delays because they were trying to juggle randoms crew members to the job site. They do not have a dedicated crew. To keep the job moving, I had to step in and install my stove hood myself. Quality of Work: -Minimal Supervision & Costly Mistakes: Ruben was only on-site for 30 minutes to an hour a day. The crew made frequent errors, wasted materials, and ultimately cost me an extra $5,000 in materials. Unprofessional Workmanship: -A crew member (Adrian) improperly used self-leveling, causing mortar to seep through walls and doors. -The same worker almost set my kitchen on fire due to incorrect wiring. -A junior crew member (Manuel) threw away new materials, further increasing costs. -My husband and I had to redo the wall texture they applied because it was done so poorly. -The countertop was improperly installed (by Victor), leading to a post-installation crack. The contractor promised to fix it but was a no-show, wasting an entire day of our time. -The dishwasher was incorrectly installed (Ricardo), requiring my husband to take a day off to reinstall it. Material Pricing & Usage: The contractor ordered materials on my behalf, but the pricing changed and was increased without transparency. The crew also took materials I paid for to use on other job sites. Also on two occasions, we had to order more tiles at 3x the cost because all the measurements were incorrect. Other Issues: -The crew trashed and clogged our bathroom toilet. They denied responsibility until I installed a camera--only then did the issue stop. -Never reimbursed or refunded for damages and extra expenses. Final Verdict: Ruben is a nice guy and means well, but his company is not equipped for big jobs (over $10K). If you have a small bathroom tile job, they might be fine, but anything beyond that--find a better contractor. We rushed to finish the project just to be done with them, and in hindsight, we should have hired someone else from the start. Do not make the same mistake we did. 2/5 - Would not recommend for major home renovations. Recommend for small jobs only.
