Patrick is what you need when you have concerns about mold - knowledge, experience, and he's what you want in a service person - trustworthy, sympathetic, and great attitude. I called them for a consult about our house mold problem. Man on the phone was very helpful - he told us house mold tests aren't super help and advised us to look for certain signs like a wet/damp crawl space and other signs. He said he didn't want to waste our time if those signs weren't there and we ended up not having to get a paid consult from them. But my impression is that they are honest, efficient, and knowledgeable and I'm glad I called them first about this all before proceeding on a mold consult we did not actually need. read more

We had a problem with mold and hired House Mold Inspectors. Very prompt about coming over to the rental property quickly. Patrick (the owner )came to do the inspection. I wish he had NOT discussed the mold findings report with the Tenant and with the OWNERS. His information that was discussed on the PHONE doesn't mention anything in the REPORT about the living conditions NOT BEING Safe and to get the H_____ out of the place. What is the use of signing and agreement between the owner of the property and company? Also at the time of the inspection, there was mention of problematic structual issues with the home that may have caused mold but NOTHING was mentioned in the report for the restoration company to abate this problem. The price was definitely cheaper than other Mold testing companies. read more

I would give Patrick 10 stars if it was there!! He is such a wonderful, kind hearted and knowledgeable gentleman who went beyond the scope of just mold testing and actually spent the extra time in our townhome to identity a dead rodent problem. He is someone who's not just in the business to make money or get customers but has a genuine interest in "solving" the problem at hand. In our case there was a smell behind the drywall and he actually cut out a piece to peer into the wall and found the source. He was there far longer after his mold inspection was done. Our roof inspection shows that our roof is in poor condition. So we ordered this mold inspection. Patrick is a very professional inspector. He answered all my questions and concern. Report will be sent after 3 working days I asked what kind of mold is he looking for? He answered mostly Stachybotrys, Aspergillus, and Penicillium. Aspergillus and Penicillium are rich in the air, but Stachybotrys is not. I also asked if the black mold was covered by painting, can he report it? The answer is NO. But when humility is over 60%, the mold will grow fast. People can see a bubble of a wall. He also said we can call him or e-mail him anytime if we have more questions. We really need this extra service. My husband has hundreds of questions a day, but he couldn't be there. I need some professional help to answer his questions. We hired Patrick to come in to do an air quality test after we found out suspected mold growing in our closet area. Turned out it is mold growing! During his visit, Patrick is very knowledgable and we did a walk-through. I pointed out to him all my concerned areas around the house and he examined all of them. Even though it turned out the other concerned areas have no mold growing concern, it's always reassuring after talking to an expert in this field. Unlike other mold inspectors who charges extra for taking samples, it's part of the package that 2 air samples + 1 swab sample is INCLUDED. He said the report turn-around time is 3 business days but actually we received report back sooner than that. After we did mold remediation work, we hired Patrick again to come in taking air samples to do a clearance test and he offered discount for returning customers, which is really nice! Patrick also gave a lot of advice and he treated it like as if it were his own house and his own families living here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Patrick and his team are extremely professional, reliable, knowledgable, and will leave your house clean and mold free. We had an expected completion date but when Patrick ran the air quality test it showed that the air was not completely clean. They continued to work for a few more days, even running the air purifying units over the weekend.
