He didn't cry yesterday but sure did today after knowing what was going to happen. Despite how scared and strongly he resisted, Vicki and her coworker handled it wonderfully. Both veins wanted to give out and while one did, delicate adjustments and patience got just enough from both veins. My poor little doesn't have easy veins so to me this was a huge deal. Very grateful to both of the ladies who helped today and hopefully won't be back for a while but at least we know where to go next time. Thank you!

More ppl kept coming in, that had appts, and I was disappointed that nobody had called to cancel the appt, or that there me and others were left to fend on their own to get this lab work done(I had appt with my Dr. to go over those results, giving the lab time to have results), along with other results about my knee. I know with appt, they knew my address and phone number, why wasn't I called, so I could find another place in time. If you weren't already stressed, I was then and now. You go to another lab, and your asked to come bk @ 4pm "drink enough water, so you can do your urine test, again", we'll I have work @ 4:45pm...this won't work. It's so disorganized. Needless to say that appointment didn't happen so that was a waste of my time and day. Made a new appointment several weeks out because there was nothing else available. Got a confirmation text yesterday about my appointment still being good for today. Just showed up to the Walgreens location and they're closed with just a sign on the door with a different address to go to in the meantime. Absolutely unacceptable! Whether it's something going on with your scheduling system or being understaffed and having to close it's no excuse to not inform people that their appointments have been canceled. Once again my day and time has been wasted and now I have to make another appointment to get my blood work done. Do better LabCorp!!

The front desk staff were warm, calm, and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel much less stressful than many other labs. A special thank-you to Chelsea, who is an outstanding phlebotomist. I require a butterfly needle and blood draws from my wrist, so I'm not the easiest patient. Chelsea was the perfect blend of professionalism, skill, and genuine kindness. She maintained eye contact, kept me engaged in conversation, and made me feel completely at ease. It was possibly the easiest and most painless blood draw I've ever had. Five stars without hesitation. I'll definitely return to this location.

Inside, my nurse was nice, great at his needlework, and efficient. The run I was in, the booth, was a bit like the pens we would put cattle in, when I was a kid. But, it is the only lab option in the healthcare troubled desert. So, given there are no choices, I think they deserve good marks. A lack of competition often leads to quality that is absent of care or concern.

Not a great way for employees to start a Monday. My heart goes out to them! I was incredibly impressed how they stayed cool, calm and collected through it all. When it was my turn for a urine sample, the man before me in the restroom practically flooded the bathroom with urine. A very kind phlebotomist cleaned the entire bathroom before my use, adding to her difficult morning. The person who took my blood was Erika. She was patient, kind, gentle and quick. Given it was a wild start to a workday with a long line out the door I am incredibly impressed with this location and the staff. Thanks for a great experience! When Carbon Health first opened, I was excited by the idea of an urgent care where you could…read moreactually make an appointment. It seemed like a great alternative to sitting in a waiting room for hours or trying to time your visit to Eisenhower Urgent Care during a slower period. Unfortunately, the experience has gone steadily downhill since my first visit. The bedside manner of many of the NPs and PAs is disappointing. You get about five minutes of their time, and it often feels like they aren't interested in truly listening to your concerns. Instead, they seem eager to fit you into a predetermined diagnosis. If you don't present with one specific symptom, they quickly dismiss the possibility of what you think might be wrong--even though people can experience the same illness in very different ways. The medical assistants haven't been much better in my experience. During my most recent visit, the MA smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and barely spoke to me. I'll never understand why some people choose careers that require working closely with patients when they seem to have little interest in interacting with people. Unfortunately, this hasn't been limited to just one office. The La Quinta location has been just as disappointing. Across both locations, the staff often come across as though they'd rather be anywhere else than at work. Trust me--we don't want to be there either. Patients aren't visiting urgent care for fun; we're there because we're sick, worried, or uncomfortable. The least we can expect is to be listened to and treated with a basic level of care and empathy. If you have a choice, I would recommend Eisenhower Urgent Care instead. In my experience, their staff takes the time to listen, treat patients with respect, and make sure concerns aren't simply brushed aside.
