I've had nothing but good experiences since I've been coming here. Everyone is very friendly and always checks on you to be sure you are doing ok. Of course they recommend that you drink plenty of water and eat protein before your appointment which I always try to do. I have had a couple times when my veins didn't cooperate but I still got paid for the attempt! For first timers, you will need to allow several hours for the registration, reading, and physical you need to do. After that, just be sure to follow the donation day instructions and you should be good to go! I drive almost an hour to donate and make my appointments in advance. they were putting a lot of people ahead of me that had not made appointments and I made the mistake of asking the girl that takes your blood pressure, pricks your finger etc.. she started whispering to the girl next to her and walked off and brought back another lady that said I'd have to step off to the side after I had bed waiting and I said how long will it take and she says very rudely I have no idea and she said well you will just have to come back. I said i can't I just drove an hour! it was soooo unprofessional. needless to say I drove an hour an was treated so bad. They treated me with so much disrespect. Unreal. I'm not surprised at all by the terrible reviews here, they are liars, they take advantage of you, everything is your fault. Don't go here, in fact, don't donate plasma at all. All the payments are going down, but the companies are still getting plenty of money. It's extortion plain and simple, you'll always have scars from donating too, it's just not worth it in the slightest. The lady who did my physical was absolutely rude and impatient. They took way too many appointments then they can handle, the line was so long that people were waiting outside of the building. Took me 3 hours to finish the new client sign up process before I could donate, I even got there 10 minutes earlier than my appointment time. The rest of the stuffs were friendly tho. Went in for my appointment tonight and ended up getting turned away. I completely understand the employees not having the ability to get everyone done. It was ok until management started over booking appointments and the wait was so long. It ended up not being worth the time. On the weekends, there is so many people scheduled. The frustrated people waiting start getting rude with each other because the staff isn't managing the chaos. The employees are so overwhelmed they started making mistakes, like missing your veins and you ended up bruised and have a huge hematoma. The nursing staff acts like they are better than everyone else and take their sweet time doing their job.. this is for Broken Arrow, Oklahoma location... i have picked a new, better company to donate plasma. read more

Pros: basically free money. most of the staff is very efficient and friendly. incredibly clean and updated. Cons: multiple times i've been told certain information that was then changed because they weren't very diligent. i've waisted copious amounts of time driving here to be denied because they neglect to give me proper information! they are very strict so be prepared to be deferred for a one to a few days. read more

This place is a joke. Their "policies" will have you making extra trips and wasting time.

It seems a complicated business and I respect they have many safety concerns. Overall my experience has been positive. Most of the staff are helpful but they are employees who deal with the public all day and some probably are only there- like many employees- because it pays the bills. I have given about 15 times and have been rejected twice. Once because the previous two times the technician badly bruised my arm so both were bruised- the rest of my donations I have not had bruising that lasted. The second time I was rejected was because my tempterature measure 99.7. It was a hot day and I had worked outside all morning. I was not sick and retested it at home the rest of the day and was normal but lost my bonus for the week. That I am vaccinated for Covid and that the hot weather did not factor in. I was told that I had to wait two week before donating again. I got an email the next week inviting me back????? The early bonuses will spoil you but if you have time it is still decent $$. read more

This place is horrible about overbooking too many donors at one time. What should take 70-80 minutes tops takes upwards of 3 1/2 hours here just because of their obvious greed. Now they are having problems processing payments, 30-60 minute delay. I've been donating plasma for 15 years and have NEVER had or heard of this issue ever. So not only do we have to stand in a long line for over an hour at a time with no chairs offered, we don't even get paid on time? They didn't even bother telling anyone, I had to go back inside after donating to find out what the issue was. I will be looking into CSL plasma this week and if you haven't already, you may be better off doing so because this place is a joke, hence their low ratings. read more

Yes the have to screen to make sure you are ok to donate . Precautions for you and the company trying to save lives . I started donating plasma (not blood) a few months ago when a friend recommended it. I was really nervous because I hate needles, but thought I'd try it out. The staff there was always kind and professional. They are not overly friendly asking about your life and trying to be your best friend...they are focused on doing their job and safety, but they were never rude. There are a lot of questions you have to answer and a lot of safety protocols that have to be followed, but I've always appreciated those. They make the process as easy as it can be. After you answer all the questions, they do a quick finger prick to check and make sure you are able to donate that day. I've never been turned away, but have been told when my water intake has been a little low and I should drink more water the next time. After you're cleared you go sit in a chair and again they are very professional which I appreciate because the anticipation of the needle is actually worse than the needle stick itself. So I appreciate that they move through this process quickly... honestly sometimes if you get a really good person I didn't even feel the needle go in. I don't know how they do that but a few of them can do it. Once the process has begun, you squeeze your hand while they draw the blood out, then relax when the blood goes back in (after the plasma has been taken out). It's very easy, you can listen to music, read a book, whatever you want. The donating process takes about 40ish minutes for me (the whole time probably an hour, including the check in, finger prick, etc but plan for at least double that the first time because of the physical) Anyway, I do recommend this place because like I said, they have been nothing but professional every time I've gone in. Yes there are protocols that they have to follow and criteria you have to meet in order to be able to donate but that's never been a problem. I've seen people of all different races and backgrounds donating when I've been there. It's great knowing that I am helping people, but I would be lying if I didn't say it's great to make some extra cash as well! Watch for different coupons that they put out, because a lot of times they have specials going on where you can make extra per visit. Oh, and I never felt bad after getting done. For the first time experience its a no go. The employees at the desk amd vitals were great but when I went to do the physical thats where the issues started. The person was rude and unprofessional. When asked about my heath I said I was feeling great but she noticed I had on a knee sleve and asked what it was for. I said I have bad knees as I'm 52 it happens, and I said I went to a doctor about a year ago and he said I should wear one...so that means I'm under his care...I don't think so..but she stated a form that now had caused a delay. The whole purpose of a physical is to see if there's any heath or underlying issues. So if perhaps they need to hire a better qualified quote "nurse" I did visit a second time as I was told by said doctor that I only visited one time they never received the release form so I asked for a release form doctor as they told me no fax was ever sent. Well said nurse came unglued and stated accusing me of saying she never sent it. Which I said no I said "they never recived it" I'm sure this is not the first complaint about said employee. If you would like the name I will share but she needs some counseling and her customer service is horrible. read more

DISCRIMINATION! I believe discrimination is against the law! Im pissed off and ready to get an attorney. My 20 year old son wanted to donate blood. He felt like he could bless someone else and make a few extra dollars while doing it. When the lady called him I got up too and the lady was very rude as she asked me to sit down. My daughter told the lady that my son has high functioning autism.He usually likes me to accompany him. After that it all went down hill. When my son couldn't remember the last 4 of his SS#. The lady asked him if I was his guardian. Since I am his parent he said yes. She then told him and I that he was ineligible. What? I explained that I was not his "guardian" That I did have power of attorney but that was so I could help him if he should ever need it and all he has to do is say he doesn't want that and its over... Well she said hes not eligible ....Whatever... Yes my son has a disability. Mostly in the area of social functioning. He also has an IQ of 124. Passed the high school exit exam and graduated high school . He was going to college , Yes he only takes 1-2 classes a semester but he does pass and NO they are not "Special " classes and he gets no accommodations! So thanks for treating my son like an idiot and making my kid feel like crap. read more

The front desk girl was very rude to me and several others that were in front of me. It seemed as if if she didn't like you, your temperature was too high to pass the covid screening with is technically 100.4 but she cut me off at 99.6 with a visible sunburn on my forehead and refused another way to check the temperature. She then would respond to anything else said by anyone including me with a "too high temperature" with I checked it twice you need to leave. I work in the medical field and know the signs and screenings required for covid I think she was just in a bad mood an taking it out on everyone she could. She became very rude to someone who didn't have their social security card because the website clearly states that you don't need it if you have identification that has a picture, signature, dob, and government issued number aka a license. I had my card but did mention the fact the website stated differently and she became even more rude that it was stated. Also don't try to call the number given for them as they don't answer and don't return phone calls. I will try again on friday and see how it goes and will up date but until then this place needs new workers that want to be there for this location. read more

Then they offered to try again in my other arm as they were cleaning up my spilled blood... I left immediately and was never paid for the time or torture. Trust me, it's not worth the money. They are so strict on literally everything and the requirements, everytime I go there, there is always a problem, also some of the staff is very rude and they're just horrible, the service is terrible for first donors, you wait in a lobby for like an hour only to wait another 2 hours to complete the process, they suck. read more

I'll start by saying that the general atmosphere and staff appeared friendly and professional. However, as a newcomer the experience was incredibly stressful starting with the complete lack of any front desk staff. I walked in without being greeted by anybody and cluelessly walked around the facility until I locked eyes with one of the white coats. She was courteous and walked me over to the kiosk to schedule an actual appointment and verified my 2 forms of ID. But from there she left. The website stonewalled me at the appointment phase prompting me to "call to schedule an appointment". No matter I thought. I'll just have one of the staff work this out. I opted to just call the number after waiting for 10 minutes for anybody to help. Walked straight to my car and called the number only to be further greeted by a phone line that rang infinitely.
