One of the employees was rude to me, I realize I made a mistake getting my wallet from my car after the "test" was taken and having my appointment cancelled as a result is in the rule book somewhere that was not given to me years ago. But what's not okay is being treated like I was a second class citizen when I wasn't eligible to donate. I didn't deserve having someone twice my size get a guy three times my size to "encourage" me to leave when all I wanted was a new card since my old one expired. I've donated over One Hundred times and I was treated like I didn't belong there at all. I appreciate the time I've spent there and the donation process, but I'm just not going to donate there anymore. I don't feel comfortable donating in a place where employees treats people like that. Have been three times. Each time they were offering a promotion that would pay $100+ if I donated twice in a week. And every time, the people who put in the needles were so inept that my arms bruised up to the point that I was not approved to donate again for 3-4 weeks. I was told later by a medical professional that the phlebotomist's they employ have little to no proper training. read more

It's nice enough, but despite their scheduling in the app they consistently lack enough people to process the donor volume with a dozen donation spaces going unused. Also these vampires started taking 22% more from me every donation a couple months back and they didn't even pay me more. I'm not entirely sure why all the other reviews on here are so low... My only guess is that things have changed between the older reviews and now. This is by far the most efficient plasma center I've ever been to. I've previously been used to waiting 2+ hours just to get into a chair at a plasma center, but here I'm typically in and out of the center within an hour and a half. All the staff members who I have interacted with have all been very friendly and professional. read more

I can't recommend this place anymore if they don't get their act together soon. I have been donating here for 7+ years, and while they definitely get much busier at certain times of the year, the last 3 months or so have been something else. Their appointments are so overbooked and wait times just aren't worth it anymore. My last time I waited over 2.5 hours just to get poked. Including over 30 minutes sitting on the donor bed where no one came to help me. When the donation process is regularly over 3 hours, it just ain't worth it anymore. I'm still giving them 2 stars cause I realize these issues aren't the fault of most of the employees, and while there is a bad apple here and there most of the employees are chill and cool. Rush, Danica, Sylvia, etc. they are all awesome! And I can't give it 1 star when I've still been coming back like nothing has changed. I guess I am just that used to the extra $. But even my patience is waning and I'm unsure how long I can keep coming if they don't fix their current issues. Let me ask this: How can they close much earlier than even midnight when my appointment was for 5pm, and I wasn't done until nearly 8:30? The last appointments for the day are 8pm.... So yeah First time going walked in and the lady says When did you last have a meal what did you eat go get more water and protein and come back So I go get more water and protein They then tell me I have too much "oils and fatty" cells Well yeah I just ate hot dogs for protein and drank a whole lotta water Then they could not find the HUGE areas where to stick me so they stuck me in my MUSCLE not in my vein and I bruised which I later found out from a friend "they will not take you if you are bruised" So on to the second time with the bruise I had "too much iron" okay well I ate salmon not hot dogs Immense amount of iron in salmon it is a healthy fish Plenty of protein and water but was "deferred" (more than likely for the bruise) Third time my anxiety is off the charts already going in so my BP was too high Hmmm just had a wellness check and the doctor said I was fit as a fiddle BP is great and just to drink more fluids Wonder if it's even worth it read more

When I first started donating plasma is was easy, not busy, and quick but as we got later into the months it got busier and everything. I'm just trying to finish the promotion they gave me and with only have 2 weeks left and 7 donations to complete due to the fact that the wait times have been 2 hours over my original booked appointment is annoying. they overbook and then make us wait. half the time they won't answer your question to how long wait time is because they don't want to loose people but if it continues to be like this i won't be coming back. i don't care if they pay me because i could just pick up a double shift at my work. when you get in there also the back part where you donate, it's always empty or with only a few people. I have been coming here for over 2 years. There are very busy times of the year, Spring and Summer are the busiest. This center grossly over schedules appointments and wait times to donate are 90 minutes or longer. That is only the wait time where you are asked to take a pager and wait in your vehicle Then it takes about 45 minutes to donate. Love this place. Sometimes a long wait but don't get mad at the local staff. Corporate is who opens slots and days how many can come. Then through in the $1000 for 9 donations NEW DONOR DEAL ($600 in the summer for 2 donations) and that jams up the line. Then those new donors disappear. I've been coming for close to 6 years. Over 600 donations. Nice money, long wait some days but for a very good reason. My dad gets IVIG once a month. Plasma is valuable and needed. If your only coming for the money and not for saving lives, move on. Then the full time year round donors who are dedicated and understanding will get through the line quicker. read more

They have handicap spots in front of the business and yet my daughter was turned away because she had a cane and it would take up too much space! Plus she would have had to stand in a long line. No accommodations inside the building for the disabled at all. I beleive that's illegal. Definitely discrimination and worth a review at the very least. They should be ashamed. The wait time is a joke! Not worth waiting for an hour in half and then the time it takes to donate! I have scheduled different times throughout the day, thinking im just scheduling during busy times. NOPE!!! All three times, early morning (7:00 am) or early afternoon (1:00), or even (10:00am), does not matter. This center overbooks like mad. I feel bad for these workers; they are overwhelmed. The people here are nice. The customer service for phones is terrible. They don't even have a que to wait to talk to someone. Leave a voicemail and hope you get a call back. I've never gotten a response ever in regards to a phone call. They do eventually respond to online inquires. I'm am not impressed, the fastest response I ever got was because I was very upset- and I currently asked/ waiting for a follow up call. The staff is very questionable. They don't know what they're doing, they gave me a huge bruise (hematoma). The staff then told me to come back in two days for another plasma draw, but once I arrived at 5:30 AM they told me that I cannot donate plasma while I have a bruise. I postponed a trip out of town just to come in at 5:30 in the morning, after talking to the staff I was told I would be able to donate again. Unfortunately the nasty rude nurse I spoke with started spouting rules that she could differ me for any reason and to go away! I certainly understand that, but I should never have been told that my whole arm was going to bruise, and then talked me in to come back in 2 days knowing that I would not be able to donate plasma. Also what my first intake I had a appointment, but I sat there for more then an hour before I spoke to a tech. I don't know why they would make me an appointment and make you sit there for so long. The technicians that draw blood missed my vein twice, then tried on the other arm and by then my blood clot it. Doesn't seem like the technicians know what they're doing, even with the supervisor was called over she still could not fix the problem. I have great veins, I donate whole blood two or three times a year at the RedCross and I have never had any problems. read more

On Saturday I went to donate and asked to speak with the manager because I referred a friend that way we could both get the extra $100 she's donated now 4 times on your second donation u should be compensated!! That hasn't happened for either one of us!! On Saturday I explained this and the manager said all he could do is give me an extra 20 that day and again the next time.you do the math $100 I should have received instead he's giving me 40 I'm still owed 60$ well I go to the bank and there's only $20 in my account wow I still have not received the money for my donation as of today which is Tuesday!! Saturday I started calling emailing and leaving numerous voicemails!! I still have yet to talk to a real human being!! This place is an absolute Joke,with no integrity and does not care about there customers in the least bit!! This facility is just poorly run. Some of the employees are really sweet and work hard. but there is no presence of leadership. and when they are, they are not friendly or engaging or concerned with wait times. There is no sense of urgency. Usually, it's pretty fast unless you go at night. plan on your donation time being at least 30 minutes longer at night. And the floor staff doesn't engage with you other than asking your name, etc. they'd rather stand around and talk to each other even if your alarm is going off. But today wow, someone really screwed up the schedule. it's a Saturday and there is a minimal crew. Been waiting 1 and a half hours and haven't even donated yet. if your going to have a limited crew then do your customers a favor and reduce the apts available, or as the GM you probably should be in the trenches working with your crew. I come here to donate plasma every now and then when I'm not too busy. Its a fast way to make money once you're in the system. The initial process is the only time I've spent there lasting over 45-50 minutes. The staff members are for the most part good at what they do. Every now and then when they have new hires they have an issue sticking me on the first time. Other than that this place is amazing. read more

After mulitple times of trying to get approved, we are both incredibly healthy, it took 3 new donor set ups to finally approve us because their system would go down, or I didnt eat and they never said I had to come fed before I donated, or my husband mentioned he snored so they made him get a doctors note before the would allow him to donate!? Do they want to save peoples lives or what!? After we finally were approved, they make things up as they go. I was deferred for a month because one of their staff members messed up, didnt report a messed up return and she bruised me and didnt follow protocol having me walk out without icing or taking fluids. so I WAS PUNISHED for a month. and all I got was, why didnt YOU do something about it at home. Why did YOU take care of your bruise. I told them that the employee didnt follow procedure and should be fired. They said they didnt know who it was so they couldnt do anything. which is a lie, they scan in their name on every bag. I have also been denied to donate because, a rule I have never been told before, was I came in and forgot my head phones so after waiting in line, I ran out to my car and grabbed my headphones, they told me I could not longer donate and kicked me out. If you need to make some extra cash, this is a great way. Not only do you get paid to donate plasma but you are also helping those that need plasma in order to live a normal life. The process is a lot like giving blood, except you get paid, it only takes an hour, AND you can do it twice a week! In a month you can make $140-$240. Sweet huh? read more

Place is a joke and will do some unhealthy things. First, one of there techs jacked up my arm and I had to wait a week for it to heal before I could go back. Then I went back after work like normal and Weighed in. I was on the line from being in the next bracket for donation amount, so they bumped me up. I then proceeded to tell them and show them my 4 lb steel toed boot on each foot and said it was unhealthy to donate that much I need to be under. They told me I can't weigh in without my shoes and they have to go off the scale, even if the boots put me over. What a joke. The scale is there to make sure your not donating an unhealthy amount, they clearly don't give a crap about my health. Won't not recommend this donation facility to anyone.
