i had never donated here before, and it sounds weird, but the people were impatient and mean. i called to schedule an appointment and had to think if i was available for an early morning appointment (i had things before and after the time i had to suggest (because the phone lady wouldn't tell me what time they had available)) and the lady said "which of those times work so we can be done with it." i got there, everything i did seemed like an inconvenience to them, like i brought my passport and birth certificate, and they acted like i was an idiot for bringing the passport and the guy just said in a demeaning tone "we dont need that" about the birth certificate. we get back to the desk where they take all your info, the guy is put out to put my info in the computer, swears at the computer for some reason, calls a plasma center i had donated at before where i had failed the blood test because of marathon training and not enough water consistently in my system, he says "you're frozen there so you're good to go." i paused waiting for clarification, and he says "youre good to go home." i walked out, and when i get a doctor's note saying im ok to donate, i will definitely go back to biomat. i only went to talecris because i thought i could pass the test and not have to visit a doctor's office uneccessarily. ha. i missed by so little on the last test i failed by drinking unearthly amounts of water. ill get it. but at biomat. my roommate just got done telling me similar stories of when he would donate there. read more

I've donated here almost as long as they've been open. Generally speaking, the staff is great--hardworking, professional, and friendly. In recent months, they get you in and out fairly quickly, and I appreciate the bonuses and incentives they have each month. The only real criticism, and the reason I scored them a 4 and not a 5, is that there sometimes seems to be a disconnect between management and staff. The staff at times seem frustrated with management, probably for good reason, and this affects office culture. There's also a fair amount of turnover, which again reflects on management-staff relations, and there have been times during periods of turnover when donars suffer. I'd also like to see them build in special incentives/rewards for long-time donars. They do a lot to attract new donars, but why not do some things to reward those of us who've donated for years? Granted, I was given a gift on my 600th donation, but something on a more regular basis would be appreciated. All in all, though, I've been happy with my experience there, especially lately. Stay away from this Grifols, nice people - but most are new so they don't have most of any information required for new donors. They will defer you for ANY REASON. They won't tell you exactly how to prevent being deferred by their fickle rules. There's this HORRIBLE employee names Conny that is the absolute rudest person I've ever spoken to. She insults everyone, pulls at you if you aren't in the precise position she wants you in and is pretty much an all around bad person. I put up with this center's lack of knowledge and basic manners for a year because it's close to me. I thankfully just transferred and will never look back. Stay away from here if not for that one employee in the morning to noon. Also this center isn't open on sundays which will get in the way if they defer you for some random reason like the temperate being too high because it's summer. Meanwhile if it's winter and you're cold they let you know to take a little time to warm up but not if it's too warm outside? I have been to multiple plasma centers, and this is by far my favorite. The staff is super friendly and this place pays great - more than $400 a month. I have had fast-paced jobs in the past, so I understand what it's like to work under stressful environments, and I am very impressed with how efficiently this staff works. People need to understand that some days you might have to wait longer than others to get hooked up. The staff has a system of how they get things done. They serve the customers in order of who arrives first. And for the record, I have never been in and out of there longer than 1.5 hours, and I probably come at one of their busiest hours, since that's the time I get off work. My average in and out time is right around 50ish minutes. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I am a happy regular customer :) read more

Talecris is an awesome Plasma Center to go too, the staff is overall friendly and get me in in the most timely manner while keeping me safe and looking at my well-being. I have been donating there over a year and even though I live in Spanish Fork I will continue to go there. The staff keeps it clean and a atmosphere that is friendly and has me laughing at times with their fun personalities. There is one staff in particular Corina who is always smiling,very knowledgeable and is excellent at her job. She goes above and beyond all the time to look after the safety and well being of the Donors and is always willing to answer questions. read more

Let me tell you what! THIS IS THE BEST PLASMA center I have ever been to! Everyone there is well trained and if there was ever a mistake then it was taken care of professionally and sufficiently. The best phlebotomist I ever had is Thomas! He has the skills from the Gods, Anytime he is working and I show up I ALWAYS have him stick me. He is very personable, fun, and helps make your experience grand! He definitely has the ability to make someone feel comfortable when they are feeling a little nervous. He is wonderful! I waited a few donations before posting so I could be more accurate in my review. Seventh donation. The facility is super clean and bio products are disposed immediately and safely. Super smooth process. You come in and go straight to the computer for the assessment and then check in with a person. Once hooked up time just flies...Fabulous internet for homework. I have been donating here for sometime and I truly enjoy it. I have regularly donated and come as often as allowed, I have gotten to know much of the staff personally and enjoy them. The staff for the most part is always in good spirits and do there best to maintain quality. They do their best to make you comfortable and confident in being a returning donor. I love donating plasma at Talecris. I've donated a few other places and this is the best. It's easy money, and they always offer fun and good bonuses. This center shows fun and current movies, and makes donating a piece of cake. I've donated here twice a week for years. I'd also like to give a shout out to a member of the medical staff Austin. Great place to donate. Ive been donating frequently for almost 2 years now. They're quick even when they're busy. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. They have monthly bonuses on top of their regular compensation which helps keep you motivated. It's great and flexible to donate. I'm a college student and it works well with my schedule. I have been donating for over a year now. Even though it has only been a year, they have made many significant changes in order to make the experience faster and better for the donor. My wife and I have been donating for about 4 months and we have has a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue is the appointments. They seem to have slowed the process down considerably. What used to take an hour and a half without an appointment now takes over two hours. Other than that, we are pleased. read more

I've always liked this center, but the recent improvements they've made have taken them to another level. Appointments are more convenient and the new electronic questionnaire has made things smoother and quicker.
