overall a pretty good place I've gone a total of 50 times and they never have messed up A stick on me yet. () but I stopped going a few months ago due to lots of things but I came back recently because I got a text that would give me a bonus for my first donation but apparently it's not automatic they just make you assume it is and then you go in and donate and after check to see how much and there is no bonus. then you go and talk to them and just say it's not automatic and they don't honor it. i used to go on a weekly basis and then they can't even honor that. low blow read more

Went in for my first visit. Everyone was awesome until the kid that removed the needle did it as violent as possible dragging it against my arm and cutting me. They were kind enough to call me for a follow up and the feedback I got was "oh well, that happens sometimes" There is a huge lack of professionalism at this location. Based of these reviews that's been the case for a number of years. Clearly their management lack the competency to create a standard of professionalism. I absolutely love donating plasma here. The staff are so efficient, friendly and helpful. I can be in and out in about an hour. My first visit took quite a bit longer, understandably. You can tell the staff enjoy working here, I especially enjoy Rico, Cam, and Kylun. Overall it is a very pleasant atmosphere to lie back, relax, and listen to a book or browse the internet, while doing something positive for our world. read more

It took an almost hour to just start donating. I had an appointment for 3:30 (got there at 3:26) and didn't get my vitals taken till almost 4! and another 19 min to get the needle in my arm. what's the point of an appointment ? they also lowered the compensation amount for returning and new donors, new donors went from making 800-1000 in The first 8 donations to 500 in the first 4 and then you are in with the returning donors of 40 the first donation of the week and 60 the second donation ( formerly 80). If I didn't need this money for grocery money I would never come back here. so if you are thinking of donating make sure you have like 2 hrs of your day carved out for this read more

I have been coming here for a year now and I love the staff! Everyone is very nice and friendly. They do the best they can to make sure everyone's experience is great and they are all very well educated. This location is horrible. The blood pressure machine is so inaccurate which is partially due to the tech not knowing how to put the cuff on right. I don't think they get good training on how to do things that are normally done by a medical professional. When I brought it to the techs attention how inaccurate it was he just said yeah I can see that but this is what we have to go off of. I would not recommend this location at all, they are not educated properly. read more

I have been donating here for two years now. The money is way better than anywhere else I have donated. Great incentives are texted out regularly if you sign up for their texts. Clean facility, friendly staff. First appointment was about three hours, but since then I'm usually in and out in about 90 mins. read more

I came here on Wednesday and they turned me away and said that there was a hold on my account for a medical study that I did over a year ago. Then I went to Roy that same day and they cleared it and allowed me to donate, and said that I'd be fine to donate today in the Ogden location. Then I came back today (Saturday) and they turned me away again saying there is still a hold on my account for the medical study that I participated in over a year ago. The hold is supposed to be 1 month for a medication, and a year for a signed consent form but they will not clear it because legally I can't provide the date of last dosage. Ridiculous. Also staff here is not too friendly either. Roy location is much better. read more

This location is horrible I can't say anything about the other location and there were some good people taking the blood but there were others who bruised me up and down my arm I tried to file a complaint and nothing came of it so I brought it up to the manager Cameron and he said I must be lying about the chain of events and that he's gonna stick up for his staff and ask me to leave I mean who does that treat the customer like they're lying and that his staff is telling the truth when I had the bruises to prove it and I still have a pic of it and I am reporting them they make it seem like it's someone's fault if they get bruised not the one who did the bruising like I said I'm sure the other locations are fine but this one I would give 0 stars if I could but don't go here I would recommend any place over this one read more

Ridiculous. Donated at Biolife for years and never have had to wait at every step of the procedure the way I have every single time at Biomat. My initial appointment took almost four hours! Routinely wait 20 minutes or more just to be unhooked after the procedure. Went 3 times for the $50 promotion, but will never ever return. read more

I will admit that I usually wait a bit to get hooked up to donate. The shortest time I've had to wait is 10 minutes and the longest I've had to wait is 45 minutes. The wait time is not a big deal to me. I'm horribly afraid of needles and I refuse to be poked multiple times. Its a really difficult experience for me but I have been going since July of 2019 and I can honestly say that I have only had one time where it was a little uncomfortable. I can forgive the wait times because they have always been great about making the worst part (for me) go smoothly. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I came to this location for the promotion which i will admit is very good in terms of $$$$. The first appointment that they say is 2.5-3 hours is in actuality 5 hours. That is not an exaggeration. Then the follow up appointments are so slow. I previously donated at Biolife in Layton, ( I will be returning there ), and I would be in the door and hooked up with in 10-15 minutes. I regularly takes 45 minutes to an hour to get hooked up here. Do Not go to this location, if you can help it. It is a complete joke. read more

The employees are rude. So i came for my second donation and i was turned away Becuse I didnt have a piece of mail. I had all my bills online with my proof of address thay did not except that so I drive all the way back home and I get my lease agreement and i finally make it back. By the way i did call and thay told me thay can accept my lease. So i get back and thay tell me thay can not accept my lease. All my stuff I have with my address matches up all my bills everything. So i sit and wait n the waiting room for a hour for them to tell me Thay can't take my lease agreement are you serious. You just told me you could take my lease now you cant?. I have been permanently banned. I wish that the workers gave me better instruction so I could not be banned and still help people by giving my plasma. The workers are rude and the management sucks. I got through my physical waiting in the donation room to donate then told I'm banned. They said they couldn't trust anything I told them. I started going this week Wednesday. The first time I noticed how busy, yet clean, and thorough the place was. It took three hours my first visit. They did the physical, created a folder profile, and took plasma. You get paid via prepaid visa card that same day. $50 the first time. I felt an overall illness dark cloud the first time I donated. It happened everytime the saline and my blood was put back in me. I slept for four hours right when I got home. I returned the following Saturday. I am here now. I made sure I ate greek yogurt, some fruit, and two glasses of water, my multivitamin, and fish oil pill. It only took about fifteen minutes to get to the donation room the second time. I also didn't take an hour like the first time to fill my plasma container. It took thirty minutes. It's essential to eat and drink water and take a multivitamin. It goes by much quicker. I gave four stars because the pain and restlessness from donating. It's not excruciating, but needles aren't fun, and the saline isn't fun either. It is worth it to save a life though. A lot of druggies, young adults to middle aged people at this location. The workers are very young as well, but professional and discreet. Overall it is a good experience. I think you can make $60/wk if you are committed going twice a week. read more

Grifol's Clearfield operates very differently than Grifol's Ogden center. At the Ogden center I was patronized and belittled by the receptionist and then the management, they do not share same medical database. It is difficult to donate at both places. Clearfield center is fantastic. They are courteous, kind, and willing to explain policies and procedures. Ogden, on the other hand, doesn't value customer relationships and I would never recommend anyone to ever go there! Go Clearfield! All the way! read more

I love the staff at the plasma center. They are all so friendly. I like helping others by making it possible to save lives.

I started donating plasma here at this location, earlier in the year. Everything was fine. Simple and easy peasy! Then came the Kiosks a few months later, where you stand with a pain- staking finger, and jab the screen to answer the questions (this takes almost forever if you have big fingers!) they used to have stylist pens but they walked off. Most of the time at least half of the kiosks are not working and know one resets them for days. This makes the wait time lengthened, oh joy! Later, more changes occurred. They went from a walk in center, to having to call or go online to schedule your donations, oh more fun! They tell you it makes the process easier and quicker, yeah right! When you do call and make an appointment, the person on the other end has a very loooong and lengthy greeting and question list that makes you want to pull your hair out and poke a finger in your eye! They end the call in the same way, they ramble on so long, that you basically have time to make a sandwich, eat it and go to the bathroom, really now, can't a simple greeting, a valid time to donate and a thank you, goodbye suffice? But wait! that's not all folks! When said person on phone makes you an appointment, half the time, when you go in to donate on said day and time, an appointment checker employee informs you that you DO NOT have an appointment and that you can wait (hours) to see if there is an opening, NOT, or they can schedule you for the next day. This won't work if your days are Thursdays and Saturdays, cuz you will only get a measly $20 on Thursday if Saturday gets screwed up by the contractor that supposedly made your appointment. Well, Does this all sound like fun? NOPE. When you let them know that you did call and have an appointment, they tell you that there is a contract company that schedules for them, then after you tell them that this happens frequently, they apologize. Yet know one seems to give a flying rats butt that their high tech system / IT / contractor call center is seriously faulted. So if you love waiting long hours, possibly not getting to donate and earn the much need $ for the "liquid gold" you donate, then by all means go check this place out. Oh by the way, the employee turn over is frequent and you get to be Guinea pigged, jabbed and "punctured" by a newbie! Did you know that your plasma not only saves lives, but goes over seas and they pay top dollar for it?, as in hundreds of dollars for your bottle that you got paid $25-$50 on? yeah, that's right, your being drained and bent over at the same time.
