The way this location is run is terrible. There should be zero reason that it should take 2+ hours to donate, especially when you set a time for your donation. Most techs at location do not move with purpose (slow). Understandable there can be busy times, but no reason for it to take over 2 hours to complete donation when an average should only take 45 minutes to an hour. No reason to be spending an additional hour or more especially when you set a time for your appointment. Also, as a new donor, my first 6 of 8 donations I donated 730-750mL then it went up to 830-850mL since. No one can give me a clear answer. Donating more plasma for less money??? It's time to take my plasma donation to somewhere else. read more

The first time only took 3 hours and they even did a physical and gave you beef jerky and a Powerade. They don't give you shit but a headache the other times. I have reviewed this place about a year ago . I know there is a saline shortage so they are offering Gatorade before and after donation in place of the saline. Either way there are less phlebotomists and chairs getting filled that a year ago - right now I'm Standing in line of 25 people with 2 people doing vitals . That's another 30 mi tie wait on top of my 20 already waited - it is now 9:03 my appoint was 9:45. I do t understand why the don't have their nurses help with the vitals as they can or management . Now they make up reasons not to pay returning donors the extra money plus they cancel all your appointments (so they delayed you for a week+ so they won't have to pay you any bonuses). They claim my protein levels are too low ... how can that be? I'm on the Carnivore Diet, so I know they are lying. They overbook and don't have enough staff. This facility is disgusting and unsanitary. It smells like a homeless camp. 15 beds were open total. All occupied and over 25 people in line for a donation bed. Not exaggerating. Edit bookings numbers available if you don't have the staff. THEY DO NOT CHANGE GLOVES AFTER HANDLING PEOPLES BLOOD. This is the Walmart of plasma donation centers. Within a few minutes of entering the facility, I knew my health was at risk. This might be the training grounds for new phlebotomists. I went to the Golf Links location to avoid having to drive across town to the Auto Mall location I usually go to. I absolutely should have driven across town. From start to finish the eighth person in line should not take over two hours to complete a donation. As I finally got to the front of the line to test vitals both employees at the counter stepped away AT THE SAME TIME. This location is no where near as efficient and well run as their Auto Mall site, driving across town would still have saved me an hour. I would suggest you go to the Auto Mall location as well, no matter where you are starting from. read more

The location on Golf Links is very clean and everyone is very friendly. Depending on the day and time... there could be long wait times. I prefer to go very early in the mornings as I'm an early riser anyways. I've given Platelets many times through the Red Cross over the years at 3 hour settings and no compensation. I do it just to help others. But the long process has gotten to be too much at a time. Plasma donations are just as rewarding and helpful to others. It's a nice incentive to be reimbursed for my time and donation... and it only takes an hour from start to finish. Highly recommend if you're healthy and able to donate... do it!! Make an appointment to wait over an hour and a half to even sit in a chair and start donating. Whole process is 3ish hours of pain and uncomfortablity for 40 dollars.... Not worth your time or money. And heaven forbid you need to change your coveted appointment which must be scheduled via their app because NO ONE EVER answers the phone. It's currently Sunday afternoon and I've been standing in line for an hour. This afternoon arriving on time for my appointment which has been scheduled for almost two weeks. There is no wait for the initial evaluation but 20 donors and I wait for our turn to donate. Three people have walked out. There are currently more than 15 stations available. I can't help but feel that this is such a sham. You book your appointment WAY in advance (like two weeks in advance) and then get there only to wait around for four hours before even getting a chance to donate. It is especially bad on Sundays as it seems they are ALWAYS understaffed, and the staff that does get scheduled is frantic and disgruntled at the amount of work they are being forced to do. With the scheduled appointments, this company knows how many people are coming (no walk ins) and still only had the bare minimum available. Then it comes to the bonus incentives. It seems nice - warning up to $700 in one month? Yes! But myself, my coworker, and my coworker's roommate all had the exact same experience. We got a few donations in (3 out of 8) before being called and told something was wrong with our most recent donation. For me, it was that my alpha levels are too high.... Sure. Ok. So they said they needed to take a sample before I donate again. Ok sure. But I had to wait a week before giving the sample, then the sample would take 10-15 days to process. You can kiss that incentive goodbye! They were very quick to say that they offer no extensions or restarts on the incentive, before I even asked. Overall, I wouldn't do this again. It's too bad, because the donating part isn't bad at all and I love that it is for a good cause, but everything else is just sketchy as hell. read more

I visited the BioLife donation center at the Tucson Auto Mall and was faced with terrible falsehoods and treatment at the hands of their caring staff. What a joke of sincerity. When searching Google maps to see my home, BioLife's staff inadvertently or otherwise were viewing the wrong address and deemed my residence as undesirable and preceded to tell me I wasn't hydrated without a blood sample. Simply amazing my doctor can't even do that. When I tried to point out the mistake of the wrong address, the staff became offended and hostile. They didn't have the time or patience to even look at the address marker in the photo on Google maps. I wasted more than 10 hours during 5 deferral visits and was never allowed to donate. Humiliated and frustrated, I went to CSL Plasma and was treated with absolute respect and kindness. They have accepted 75 of my plasma donations without reservations or delay. I will never visit or recommend BioLife Plasma Services again. read more

They asked me of my employment status and I'm unemployed since I'm a SAHM. I get there's people living in those situations who may be wanting to donate, but I feel kinda judged honestly and my fiancé went there not too long ago to donate and they never looked up his address or said that to him, maybe because he's employed? Went in for a coupon and the phlebotomist stuck me incorrectly resulting in a hematoma. Two weeks later I came back after the site had cleared and they paired me with the same phlebotomist. They refused my request for someone else to stick me which resulted in this phlebotomist blowing out the vein again. read more

**EDIT** So now I've finally decided to completely quit coming to BioLife. They repeated the SPE test and told me my protein levels were too low again. Rather than repeat the ridiculousness of having to repeat the test three or four times to come back and stand in line for hours on end for not much money, I give up. Particularly since I saw a)they changed the second bonus of the week from $80 to $75 in front of my eyes as I was logged in the app, and b) the bonuses keep dropping and they won't offer a return bonus since it has been three months since I've donated. I like Biolife alot In Tucson I been Donating Plasma for 2 years going on 3 years in December. The workers are nice an fun an always happy. An take care of you. The only bad thing is that I don't like that they lower the amount you earn below $100 because some people live on this extra income that need to pay bills or for extra food in the house. For me I separate the money I earn into 3 groups. An extra boost to my retirement savings, extra food for my family, to pay a part of 1 bill. Which for me would be stove gas because it's only $32 a month so I only have to use my checks from work to pay for my other bills. Meaning I can also put part of my job check money into retirement and emergency savings as well. Meaning I will still have a bit left for other activities. Which is what is hard now days due to inflation. I think it's wrong to randomly lower the price on Plasma. Because your donating a part of your body an that's absolutely not Okey to treat our body like a experiment. I think Biolife should keep the amount we earn each week at $140 for regular usual Plasma Doners at every location. An still have the New Doner offers. Like how hard is it to do that. That's fair too do. If I donate 850ml or lower I still expect the sane pay for donating. It's the right thing to do. read more

Made an appointment on line. I was on time, provided my drivers license and any ID required. They had me go through a lengthy on screen questionnaire, poked my finger for protein and iron levels (which were in parameters), took my weight and talk to the person who is supposed to give physicals. That is where it got weird. He was training a young woman and she asked a number of questions such as "do you know the signs of someone with HIV , AIDS ?" Have you any surgeries? Yes, and gave her the dates. Then she informed that anyone born before 1956 they needed medical records from my primary physician and they would call me later. They never drew blood to test or any other test at all. This all made me suspicious so I searched on line at age requirements. 76 is their limit. They knew my age when I arrived at 8:05am from my drivers license , but two hours of my time. That's when I looked around and noticed there was not one person over 55/ 60 in the place. This is the sort of thing that makes anyone lose faith in others. read more

I had a very positive experience from the time of check-in to when my donation was complete. All of the staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly. This was my first time donating ever and the donation went smoothly. After the donation I had a medical emergency and almost passed out. The staff came to my aid immediately. I had four very caring medical professionals tending to me. They helped me get my blood pressure back up and stayed with me until I was able to leave and a nurse walked me to my ride. They were AWESOME. Received payment as promised. Yes there are wait times, but the key is to be patient and plan for delays. I myself can't donate again, but if I could I would donate there. read more
