horrible place, taking advantage of people who really need the money. when you refer someone make sure to just do it there in person because the process is ridiculous. my referral donated twice, signed up with the link & somehow it's not working. on top of that whenever you get a bonus make sure to show the voucher about 4x because they will input the wrong information so on your next donation you're only getting paid out $40. absolutely unprofessional & disgusting. stop donating your plasma to this place. My tech for a small blood sample dropped the opened exposed gauze to cover the site after the draw on the floor then picked it up and placed it on my bleeding arm. While reaching for the gauze she pulled my arm causing massive bleeding and swelling. Just look at the pics and think twice about going there. Try CSL instead. I have been giving plasma for the past five years but have recently stopped. Most of the staff that would be on the floor are no longer there and the staff (most) that are there are very inexperienced, they also are always short of staff when checking in as well. Staff needs more training on how to insert the needle, (they blame your arm/veins, instead of their lack of knowledge, without proper insertion it can be very painful, and you are left with a bruised arm, I have had to wait weeks before I am allowed to give again. You want to give plasma and get out, especially after working a long day yourself. In the past I have referred several people, and they have said the same thing, lack of experience and when you complain to the Office Manager, from what I see, nothing positive is being done about it, I will not give to this location again. read more

Giving plasma is a great thing because it helps a lot of people and biomed makes it very easy. The staff is excellent the management is very accommodating and it's an exceptionally clean place it does everything in a very professional manner. I've tried donating plasma before in a couple of other "local establishments" but this is by far the nicest. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering doing this. read more

The first time went there I was so Impressed my technician Ada was knowledgeable and explained every step actually the whole team that day working where awesome . They had no problem putting in my line . Always checking on me Today I encountered a totally different staff. I got hooked up then my technician went on break and asked another technician to check on me, I noticed the machine was beeping shutting down I finally got her attention she moved the needle around in my arm then walked over to the supervisor. She said something to me her grammar is so bad and she to wanted to go on break. I couldn't complete my donation because my blood started clotting I'm not able to donate for 56 days I was told this was my fault from the supervisor. Would I do this to my self? read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I tried to come back as a return donor with more than ample time for them to do another "physical" that takes 15min. They have my information and it is still the same as I told them. Yet they still wanted to tell me that everyone needs to make an appointment. However people who are current and in the system walk in at any time and whether they make an appointment or not and the truth is that you can still end up waiting in line anywhere from 20min to an hour at the most with an "appointment". It's complete bs in my opinion and I think they just want to be lazy and not actually think about the possibility of how many lives they could save with my blood type plasma donation. I am in better health than 95% of these other donors that come in to this God forsaken place since a lot of them look like they're drug addicts, overweight, or unkempt where they don't take care of themselves whatsoever while I'm someone who has 17% body fat that frequently goes to the gym and eats healthy. read more

This center deserves 0 stars do to the lack of employee's, and the lack of service, they take there time sitting one person when there are over 5 people waiting for there names to be called, when beds are open and clean the employee's stands around just talking when there is work to be done, I've been sitting down for an hour and 12 minutes waiting for my name to be called and still nothing its sad to write this and hope the old staff gets fired and I hope the new people they hire will be better then the old and young employee's they have working here, by the way this is going i might be Changing centers and I will be trying to convince every doner the donates here to join me................ also I hope the center keeps up the bullshit and I hope management really does read this because I hope I see any of there faces after today donation read more

It is with a heavy heart that I'm writing this update. While I still love the staff for the most part. The corporate side absolutely sucks. They're implementing crazy policies. They still have the unconstitutional mask mandate. Even though the rest of the city has moved on. You can go to any business right now and not have to worry about a mask, not if you come here. My update review is not, I repeat not a reflection on the staff. It's to hopefully get the attention of the corporate side. Adults do not want to be treated like children. That is unacceptable. I really hope things change and get back to the place I used to love coming to. Honestly, I wish the old owners would buy it back. Just to repeat I do really like most of the staff. My problem is with the authoritarian dictatorship that runs the center. As well the newest policy of taking more plasma than they should when my protein is slightly higher without extra compensation. This location, Royal Palm Beach, is clean but a little worn. Most of the senior staff are friendly and responsive but some are simply automatons looking at the clock. It is usually busy so make sure you make an appointment; HOWEVER, DO NOT trust that your appointment will be honored. I made an online appointment because I was in a time crunch but when I arrived and completed the initial processing I was told that same day appointments wouldn't be honored because "they printed their list in the morning" so I was placed in a que and waited more than an hour before even seeing the screener. They refused to even apologize or try to work with me even though I proved my appointment time. This wasn't the first time! I suggest going to another location or at the very least be prepared to wait... I won't be back. read more

The new card given that has your donation funds on it nickel and dimes you, and you get charged to pull the money out at the ATM. Plus this week they offered a bonus and it's not being honored because it was supposedly sent in error. I have stuck through several changes. I've been coming for a few months now and I've even brought a few people as well. The pay is fair and the staff is very helpful. I've never really had an issue with donating, it's become something to look forward to and the plasma I give helps other people who need it.
