The Manager also allows for some staff members to be vindictive, lie and make verbal threats of violence towards donors they do not like. This company also has a reputation for hiring Sex Offenders, Sexual Predators, Liars and Thieves at it's various locations.

The first day I kept calling my mom but she wasn't answering which worried me ( she was on a lot of pain meds) so I called the nurse ( Mo) and he answered. All the day nurses that took care of my mom were great ( Erin, Jackie, Mo, Dana, Angie, Melissa) I slept there for the week and a half she was there. The night nurses were ok, only came in to take vitals, give medication and clean her ( I got the feeling that they weren't too thrilled when they had to clean her) which is understandable but my mom had a fractured tail bone so she was limited to what she could do but I'm still thankful for them. Only thing was that I wish the food was better. Every week was the same thing I kind of wish they would change it up a bit & also the case manager I wish she would communicate a little bit more and guide us but nope one can only hope

At the age of 77 it finally erupted and needed extraction. I was afraid of the pain and possible consequences of surgery but it had to be done. I can't recommend Dr Katz highly enough. They were 45 minutes behind with my appointment, I asked the tech how he was and if this was his normal. He said yes. I asked how many techs were there and a lady from another room yelled we have 4 techs and are all working. I was shocked that I couldn't even speak to my own tech. (I wasn't speaking condescendingly, it's health care.) After that my labs were complete and I left. The only positive I can say is that it is very clean inside where they draw the labs.

This particular marker (F-785), installed in 2013 by the Robert Neff Family, the Delray Beach Historical Society, and the Florida Department of State, tells the story of how this area's healthcare system came to be. The surrounding community was first settled in the late 1890s, when medical care was extremely limited. For decades, a small number of doctors and midwives served the area, and the nearest hospital was 18 miles away in West Palm Beach. Critically ill patients often had to be transported by horse and buggy or even fire engine--journeys that were sometimes fatal. In 1947, local civic leaders and physicians formed the Gulfstream Hospital Association to address this urgent need. After years of effort--raising funds, establishing a taxing district, and securing land--the 70-bed Bethesda Memorial Hospital opened on February 9, 1959. Named after the biblical Pool of Bethesda, symbolizing healing, the hospital began with 32 doctors and six dentists. Its first patient underwent an emergency appendectomy, and its first baby was born just a week later. The hospital quickly grew, expanding within six months of opening. Today, as Bethesda Hospital East, it is part of Baptist Health and has evolved into a 401-bed, full-service medical center with more than 500 physicians across 40 specialties. I could not get on and off toilet without husband being there. Should have been given a commode instead was offered some thing to leave between my legs. Clock ticking all night long kept me awake. Nursing staff ignored my request to remove clock. They also wouldn't let me husband in to take care of it because it was after visiting hours. I cried a lot there. nursing staff, except one or 2 could use some retraining in compassion and empathy. No real endocrinologist on staff when that was what I desperately needed. Sadly this place is as good as it gets in this part of FL. Food was good
