Wow what a dive this took. Prices went up, customer service went down…read more I went in, asking for advice about a plant my mother, who passed away, had given me. It is really special to me that the plant lives as long as it can. The older man at the counter said, "Have you tried not worrying about it? It's going to do whatever it wants." That was his ONLY *advice*. I asked him about maybe adding a rooting agent and he said that was a good idea and then *instructed* me on how to use a rooting agent... incorrectly. If a plant isn't growing it's the environment that needs to change. You can't leave it up to the plant. This is basic gardening logic. I needed advice adjusting the environment -- soil, nutrients, a grow light -- not complete apathy. This garden center has the highest prices of any in the area, but I'd pay it for people who care and know what they're doing. I'm not paying $10 for rooting agent (which I already have) and an extra surcharge of the audacity.

The owners rather than offering help or to replace it where VERY nasty and said that its my fault the plant is not doing well and would not replace it. I purposely shop at small garden centers like this one to support the small and local businesses. I left very upset. I didn't argue or get overheated. What a horrible way to treat your customers. Shouldn't it be a their goal to treat the customer well and make sure their happy! I explained to them I just had a similar experience at another local shop, Uncle Ed's Creamery, who made a simple mistake with a purchase. Not only did they replace it, they gave me a gift certificate!!! Thanks Uncle Ed's. I will NO longer shop The Living Earth. I have spent LOTS of money supporting their business, but I will NO longer shop here. What a HORRIBLE and BULLYING experience. Mrs. A

Supply chain issues have left few choices among Bountiful Acres' competition, but they seem to have figured it out and kept the lines of communication and supply open with their vendors. Andy helped us on our recent visit. He's been their 20+ years and was so friendly and helpful. He also offered some great, insightful advice on some landscaping materials we asked about for privacy screening. Definitely worth the trip.

I came back with an issue with the fabric do to a squirrel making a hole in the fabric. John who runs the furniture department was more than helpful went above and beyond to help me get the original fabric reordered that which was purchased three years ago. The plants are also very healthy. I've been to three other stores in the area and they have a wonderful supply and look very healthy. Follow up with my cushion was fast and they really do care about their products and what they sell highly recommend checking out gearings for your plant and outdoor furniture needs.

However, scattered amongst the branches and blossoms inside were a coffeeshop with homemade baked goods, cafe tables and lounge-like couches, a bar making drinks with freshly-grown herbs, and a shop with upscale home decor, kitchenware, and gourmet food products. Outside resembled an elegant rose garden with plenty of seating, as well as rotating food trucks and musicians. After we explored the grounds, we grabbed drinks from the bar (a herbaceous, citrusy mocktail for me and a cherry margarita for my companion) and sat outside among the flowers. I went on the website and contacted them via email as indicated on the website. I had a couple back-and-forth conversations with Bill and I requested them to come out and replace the dead tree. He never replied. I'm fully willing to pay for this however I just need somebody to do the work. I then called and Bill answered the phone. He said he's very busy but to text him my address and one of his sons would come out and take a look to see why my tree died and to replace. That was two weeks ago and still no response. I'm taking my services elsewhere and will never use them again due to the poor customer service.
