I've been coming to bird bowl for years and always loved it. Recently I came to celebrate my nephew's birthday and I was truly impressed with the service. There was a personnel in our area ensuring she could be of service at all times. Even for minor things such as taking pictures of the entire group. The food we got was tasty, especially the chicken wings. They may be one of the best chicken wings I've had. The mozzarella sticks could be cooked more though. The bowling lanes look the same as they always have making it nostalgic. But the new arcade area with mini golf is beautiful. There's also a new bar. I absolutely love how bird bowl keeps getting bigger and more modern but at the same time keeping the bowling lanes exactly the same. This is one of the oldest bowling alleys around! I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and the prices were still as reasonable as it was when I was in college! It was busy for a Sunday afternoon, but this bowling alley is so huge my group of friends of 6 and I found an empty lane quickly. I used to come to this bowling alley all the time in high school and as a young adult, so coming back after years brought a lot of nostalgia. The service was friendly, and the classic, tight-space layout is part of the charm of a place that's been open for over 60 years. However, there were a few things that weren't great. Even though some people in our group only ordered a soda at the bar and others ordered food (burgers, wings, mozzarella sticks -- which were actually the best part), we still got an automatic 18% tip added. It felt unnecessary, especially since the snack window was closed. They also didn't honor the online specials because it was considered a "holiday," even though it was just the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I would've completely understood if they excluded Thursday through Sunday, but earlier in the week was disappointing. Had a blast! After spending the day out on the boat, we decided to hit the bowling alley and it did not disappoint. I came with some family, and we ordered the platter of wings and mozzarella sticks -- pretty much what you'd expect food-wise at a bowling alley: a bit underwhelming, but honestly, the cheese pulls on the mozz sticks were on point. Surprisingly, we were able to get 2 lanes for 10 people within 30 minutes on a busy Saturday night -- super quick! The music was upbeat, the vibe was fun, and it felt great to enjoy some good, wholesome fun. We also hit up the arcade and I even won some candy from the Candy Crush-style game (total win). I've lived in Miami for over 30 years, and I've visited this bowling alley more times than I can count. But what makes it special to me goes beyond the games, the food, or the atmosphere. In 1998, I brought my girlfriend--now my wife--here on our very first date. We bowled, played pool, and spent the night laughing after Thanksgiving dinner. It's a memory I'll never forget. Fast-forward 27 years, and this place is still part of our story. Tonight, my wife planned a surprise birthday celebration for my 47th birthday at Bird Bowl. She invited friends and family, ordered a cake, and created an evening filled with the same joy and nostalgia we felt back in '98. At one point, I mentioned how much I liked the jackets worn by the employees, and without me knowing, she spoke to a manager and arranged for me to buy one. That gesture--and the fact that Bird Bowl made it possible--meant a lot. Bird Bowl has remained consistently great. It's vintage 305 in the best possible way. The lanes, chairs, shoes, and bowling balls are always clean. The bar is attentive, the food is solid, and the menu has plenty of choices. The arcade and pool area add to the fun, and the staff here are always friendly, helpful, and professional. You can feel that the team cares about running a smooth and welcoming operation. If you haven't been in a while, you owe yourself a visit. And if you've never been, you should experience this Miami classic at least once. Wasn't my first time at Bird Bowl & definitely won't be my last. I rented the karaoke room and had a BLAST for a staff outing. Jasmine was an amazing host & I hate that I forgot our servers name that took care of us in the karaoke room, but she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I think it was Jessie? Gianna? TMI my wife had her monthly visit and the bar staff was kind enough to offer tampons in her time of need. The food and drinks were FIRE. Much better quality than you would expect at a bowling alley. This place is awesome and I'm happy that they're still open and thriving. read more

I cant even remember the last time I came to Bird Bowl but whenever that was nothing seems to have changed much. That's both good and bad. Located on Bird Road and 92nd Ave this bowling spot has been around since 1956!!! They have plenty of parking and an endless amount of bowling lanes. They offer billards and a game room as well. They also have great offer for kids birthday parties which was our reason for visiting. They had kids parties lined up one after another. The bowling alleys kept stalling and we needed to get maintenance but what do you expect from a location that has been around that long. Overall the place is a great hang out spot and has been for years. Don't expect high end food or service. Just come have a some beers and enjoy the atmosphere and lets the kids run loose. read more

Let's talk about it. Dropped off the kiddo at a birthday party at Bird Bowl. Went window shopping for puppies. After no luck, we decided to come back and just hang out by the bar while she celebrated with her friends. And let's talk about a deal. They have Yuengling on draft for $3.50 during the football games. 10 wings for $10, yes pls with blue cheese. Blue cheese? Amazing. Not sure who the vendor is, but keep that company! The wings were alright. Are they spicy? Not really. But better than something you'd get at Domino's or Papa John's. Not sure that's saying much, but it wasn't that bad. 6/10 Now the nachos, not the best presentation. However, it's pretty good. Salty chips, ground beef, tomatoes, nacho cheese, beans, purple onions, cilantro sauce, and we later asked for jalapeños. 8/10 The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and they even said there was a service fee included in the bill instead of trying to cash in on additional tip. Review for Bird Bowl in Miami: I don't typically write reviews, but I believe this feedback is important. I recently visited Bird Bowl, excited to spend the evening bowling after a long week. I was told there would be about an hour-long wait, which I accepted and spent the time enjoying the games available. Once I received a text that my lane was ready, I returned to the front desk, only to be told I had to go to the back of the line again. I complied, even though I'd already waited patiently and followed the process. While in line, I witnessed the staff member who redirected me allow several other guests--who had not waited in line--to be served ahead of others. I was the only visibly Black guest in the area at the time, and the other patrons being served ahead appeared to be part of a different racial or ethnic group. Regardless of intent, this felt exclusionary and dismissive. When I calmly brought this up to the staff member, she became visibly emotional and admitted she was wrong and stressed. I did not raise my voice or attack her character--I simply asked to speak to a manager. When the manager arrived and heard her acknowledge her mistake, he still did not take the concern seriously. He immediately dismissed the issue, saying something along the lines of, "Come on, let me just help you pay so you can bowl," as though rushing me through the transaction was a sufficient resolution. It wasn't. I didn't feel seen, heard, or respected--not by the staff member, and certainly not by the manager. I ultimately chose to leave without bowling because I believe businesses should earn my money, not just take it. I came to relax, have fun, and be treated fairly--and that didn't happen. I hope Bird Bowl takes this feedback seriously. Everyone deserves to feel welcome and treated equitably, especially in public spaces meant for enjoyment. Staff stress is understandable, but dismissing a paying guest's concerns--especially when that guest has done nothing but remain calm, patient, and observant--is not. I urge Bird Bowl to review its service policies, train staff on cultural competency and unbiased customer service, and ensure that managers are equipped to respond with care, not dismissal. read more

Horrible experience made a reservation online for 10:00pm party of 4. Came in 15 minutes early as instructed online. As we check in the young girls at both extremely rude say they are no lanes available at 10pm, to just wait about 15 minutes, after ten minutes after we get lane 60 last lane of the place muggy, humid corner. 30 minutes into playing pins start acting up we had to get assistance about 4 times each time took about 20 minutes to get a person to help, finally i went to try and get a refund and the supervisor wouldn't even speak to us he told the young girl we had a credit for next time. Came for my birthday and had a blast! I reserved two lanes for two hours for 10 people. It came out to about $200 without sock rental. I think that was a bit pricey, but I wanted to make sure we had lanes available. Reservation prices are higher than walk in prices. Anyways, glad I did! Saturday night at 8pm was hopping! The place was packed! Lines were long. We were assigned a server that we could call from an icon on our computer screen. Service for food and drinks was pretty efficient. The beer was cold and welcomed! Lights were unexpectedly dimmed and disco lights came on around 9pm. The music was fun. We are a rowdy crowd so we had a great time. I gave three stars because our lane broke down several times, at least three. Although someone came and resolved it each time, this def interrupted our game and fun. They did give us an extra 10 min at the end, but that seemed a bit minimal. Parking is horrible. Not sure what they could do about that, it just is what it is, but it stinks. Lastly, the reserved price seems a bit high compared to walk in. I didn't get to go in the arcade area but I took a quick peak and it looked pretty big and very cool. This place is a miami staple. They are real bowling lane sized (unlike bowlero at dolphin mall although that place is way more new and cool!). Sometimes the pins fall weird or the game we'll randomly restart but this place is ancient. I don't come here for consistency, just for fun. The foods actually really decent. Looked at many different bowling alleys but nothing beats Bird Bowl for the price, the customer service and fun for all ages. Every employee- shoe rental, the bar, the restaurant, the technicians who came to our rescue several times - were wonderful. They all looked happy to be at work and happy to help. They have kid parties and put us at the opposite end so our area was pretty quiet. There were extra tables behind us and we moved there for my birthday cake. Every person had fun. It was the best birthday party I could ask for. It started to storm outside so we decided to extend an hour and that was an easy process. The bar had a special bucket of 5 beers for $15. The platters were really good. We had chicken tenders, chicken wings, croquetas, mozzarella sticks and pizza. Everything came out fast and hot. Bird Bowl has survived the test of time and this past Saturday we decided to go to make memories with our children. It was packed and we needed to add our names to the virtual queue. But the wait was totally worth it, we were given one full hour with a lane just for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the areas were very clean and organized. Despite showing the manager the charge to my bank account, she refused to prepare the food unless we paid again for the food. This is probably the coolest bowling place ever. There were so many people and it felt like a dang club in here. The music is blasting, so do not come here for a "chill" experience. This is a great time for a night out with friends or even a date night. The drinks and food were just your typical bowling alley food, but they have a dedicated bar area for 21+ which is nice so you don't have to worry about kids going to that area making it take forever to get a drink while you play.
