We came here for lunch. I'd seen a comment on a thread on FB regarding good Chinese restaurants and bookmarked this place for a future visit. There was one young gal working and she greeted and seated us; she also waited on the entire room by herself and took our payment at the end. They have a smaller lunch menu. I chose one of the combos and my husband opted for a soup and an appetizer. The combos came with a choice of soup -- wonton or egg drop. I chose the wonton. It was okay. My husband liked his hot and sour soup as it had water chestnuts in it. It was decent, but not great. The crispy noodles on the table were overcooked, that is hard and dark brown. For my entree, I chose their pork egg foo yung. There were two huge patties stuffed with bean sprouts and pork pieces. They were good along with the accompanying brown sauce. I wound up sharing some with my husband as it was a large portion. You could have fried rice or white rice, too, and I chose white. My husband said his egg roll was okay -- the skin a bit thicker than expected. I'm glad we stopped by. Now we know.

Stopped in for a Chinese lunch and looked over the Lunch Specials being offered. I was trying to be good before a doctor's appointment next week so I just had the Hot and Sour soup and a egg roll. Service was prompt and attentive. Our meals were delivered in a short time. My Hot and Sour soup was piping hot and good. I enjoyed the water chestnuts in my soup. The Egg roll was good, standard fare.

We came here for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised.I am not used to having decent Chinese food in Delray. I even ordered something off the menu - mah po to fu - it's one of my favs - and they did a good job with it. There was plenty of food - from the chicken to the beef as well as the soup and rice. Something for everyone! Make sure you check the hours so you don't show up 10 minutes before they close. We were very relaxed and were seated at a round table in the front. They are in the same shopping center as AAA. The decor is old school with comfy chairs. The restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly. Give it a whirl.

Ordered delivery that showed up an hour and a half later and was totally wrong. Complete rip-off, terrible food.

I kept it simple with a cup of wonton soup, but it needed more flavor. It was okay once I added salt, pepper and a drop of chili oil. We ordered the ribs, which would have been better if they weren't heavily coated in sauce, so next time I will ask them to use less. We had the pork Chow Mein and the Kung Pao Chicken. The pork Chow Mein was decent, and I'd order that again. The Kung Pao Chicken, was disappointing. The chicken itself seemed to be a lower quality as it was stringy and tough. My friend sent it back, and that's something he never does. He replaced it with Hunan Beef, and that dish could have used more spice, but it was still good. The food just didn't have much seasoning, but that's okay, because we know to order our dishes spicy next time. I will try them again since I love supporting local businesses, and the food, excluding the chicken wasn't bad. They are located on Military Trail in the plaza next to The Girls and Bambini Pizza.

Unpleasant experience at China Garden. The female owner was rude and repeatedly pressured me for a…read moretip despite the poor service I received. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that she asked personal questions about my salary and then seemed to use that information as a reason why I should leave a larger tip. If a tip or gratuity is mandatory, where is the sign or notice clearly informing customers before they order or pay? A tip should reflect the quality of service--not be demanded from a customer or based on how much money the customer earns. I found the entire interaction intrusive, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Customers deserve respectful service without being questioned about their private finances or pressured into leaving a large tip. What made this particularly disappointing to me is that I have also seen the owner attend a Chinese church in Lantana and give a testimony about how great God is. In my personal view, the way customers are treated in everyday business should reflect the same values of respect and kindness that we speak about publicly.

Our first visit, we ordered in person and waited about 15 minutes for our food. The second time, we called ahead and our order was ready when we arrived! Service was fast and easy. We tried the Szechuan chicken and shrimp combo order on our first visit, which came with an egg roll, wonton chips, and white rice. I added a side of sauce not realizing there would already be plenty with the main dish. On our second visit, we went with the regular Szechuan chicken, which also comes with white rice (brown rice is available for an upcharge) -- and it was easily enough for two to share. The food is flavorful without being too oily or overdressed, and the spice level is solid. I personally like a little more heat, so I topped mine off with red pepper flakes at home, but it is good as-is. Veggies were cooked well and everything was served hot and fresh. Their menu offers plenty of variety, including lunch specials and combo options for those looking to try a little of everything. We enjoyed our orders and will definitely be back when the craving hits!

Lunch was abundant for $15. Four spareribs, an eggroll and fried rice were included. I filled the bag with a fortune cookie and some duck sauce on my way out. Lunch was hot and the plastic container did not leak. The ribs on top were perfect with the meat falling off the bones. The two ribs hidden on the bottom were overcooked gritty and garbage. I'm glad I wasn't too hungry just had a yen for Chinese food.
