All the birds are in good sized cages, they're opening up aviaries so their bigger birds have room to fly! While we were there we visited their "bonding room" which was a nice little place upstairs with couches for potential owners so they can bond with their bird anytime they want while they pay it off! I can tell all of the birds are loved and cared for, and they frequently take the birds out to socialize with people to ensure they are calm and safe. Sal is the biggest POS Anyone that gets a bird from here get them tested for bornavirus, both birds we have from them are positive from bad breeding! Sal the owner is a pos all he cares about is making money and doesn't care about the health of the animals as he let ours die while in their care because he wouldn't get actual vet attention because it would eat into his profits for the baby bird, I will always tell the truth from what I've seen and experienced with this Sal POs, no matter what and always speak ill of this place to everyone and anyone, thankfully I've pointed many people in the right direction staying away from here thankfully We have multiple vets and rescues that blame this store alone for the issues with shelters being at capacity from people not understanding what's involved with having a bird, so they give them up or let them go, this store doesn't educate and will sell animals to anyone long as they pay, $$$ money is all they care about and not placing animals in homes that will actually be able to care for them, We talked to several past employees who told us they left because Sal was horrible and would hide things from people if their bird died they would just swap bands and not tell the owners, their breeding location which is not at the store is horrible conditions, multiple people have field complaints to the aspca, but Sal always sets up a time which gives him the ability to hide what he doesn't want seen instead of having pop up visits, We witnessed 1st hand during Covid how they treated the animals and the workers always cowered in the upstairs office meanwhile "volunteers" that brought their children would run and cry and freak out which is completely un professional, Our vet has told us themselves that they see many birds from this guy and they always have medical issues due to the breeding and the initial raising them, we have rescues that despise this place,

A Magical Birthday Experience at the Nature Center!…read more We recently celebrated a birthday at this nature center, and it was absolutely wonderful--far beyond what we expected! The indoor nature exhibits were a huge hit. They were interactive and filled with fascinating things to see and touch--specimens and lifecycle interactive displays. It was hands-on, educational, and exciting for both kids and adults. The animals were a favorite part of our visit. There were so many more than we expected, and we especially loved the friendly bird that said "hello"! Outside, the nature trail was beautiful, peaceful, and filled with hand-painted murals that gave it a magical feel. We added our own fun by hiding tiny money gnomes along the fairy trail as part of the birthday party, and it turned out to be a big hit! You can also hand feed the chickadees along Birdsong trail. The volunteer staff was amazing--so helpful, patient, and welcoming. They really helped make the day feel special and run smoothly. Our package included a very educational 1:1 with several birds that we got to take photos with, pizza, drinks, access to facility, nature center, private room and staff to assist. All in all, it was a fantastic experience--fun, educational. We're already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

The nature center has different animals that you can get view and learn more about. All sorts of birds, raptors, songbirds, as well as a fox, bobcat and owls.
