I bought a Go Cart in December for my Grandchildren the delivery and purchase were flawless putting it together was another issue. My son in law is a master mechanic and put it altogether even having to get bolts that were not included. He got it altogether and presented it to them Christmas morning after twenty minutes of riding it was back to the shop to replace the majority of the bolts and nuts that come with the unit, I understand this stuff comes from overseas like this and they really have no control over the hardware that is sent! Back to the farm with it and another 25 minutes of use and something come lose on the inside. I called and left several messages about this and could not get a return call or reply of any sort. Finally I left a message that I was going to an attorney and almost instantly got a call back. I was given a number for their onsite mechanic and passed it on to my son in law who called him. He explained to them that the the Stator had come apart and would need to be replaced. They did send a new Stator that my son in law replaced on the unit. Oh joy they were ready to ride! Less than an hour into the use of it after repair once again something has let loose internally now the engine is locked up and won't even turn over. Once again we've made repeated calls to the business and mechanic and can not get any sort of help with the issue. I paid 1200 dollars for this heap of garbage and have gotten less than 2 hours of use out of it. I highly recommend that you do not put yourself through the hassles that we have been through and shop elsewhere. read more

Buyer Beware!!!! I was sold a defective ATV that injured my child. The ATV was not working correctly upon arrival and is still not working. My son received an electrical shock and burn from the 12 volt starter. The solution from this company was to fix it myself!!!! I have contacted a lawyer and I am filling a lawsuit against them. Ok so this is my review with this company. I ordered the bike about 3 weeks ago and received it 3 or 4 days later the bike itself came in a crate with no issues besides the front headlight plastics did not sit flush with the bike, meaning I had to zip tie the front on the bike. I put about 250 miles on it, its holding up but I encountered a issue with the bike shutting off on me I believe it's a carburetor issue or a petcock issue besides that I've had no issues with the bike. It's a Chinese scooter what do you expect? Joe helped me with my order and he was extremely helpful but it did seem kinda odd at first that nobody answered the phone and they would only answer by text but joe responded in about 20 minutes. This company is 100% legit just dont expect your vehicles to come in with zero problems not that it's the company's fault it's just the cheap chinese products that you're buying. I would definitely buy from them again. Simply cheap made materials. Had this quad for little over a year. So far replaced battery 1 month after purchase, both terminal bolts were stripped out, govenor screw head was rounded out, and just this week the rear rack broke off just behind the bolts. Also the battery tray broke off as well. I replaced the carb because the stock was junk. I forgot to mention that this RPS ROCKER 125 does not exist when looking for parts. You get what you pay for I guess it just sucks every time my son rides it something brakes. Probly have around 10 hrs of ride time since BRAND NEW. I purchased a scooter from birdys a week ago it was through a finance company but birdies was paid in full. So later that day I had a question about the title and registration so I gave birdys a call two different numbers both of the numbers said the same thing that they were away from their phone leave a message and go to the website when I hang up the phone I got an immediate text back saying I'll call you back and then from that same number someone texted and said we are currently closed my owner is working on getting their dealers license back. So I sent a text right back explaining to the person that I just purchased a scooter this morning and they took almost $500 out of my account and the person text back with the owners emails address and advise me to email them so I did neither email responded back. So I just text this morning which it is July 20, 2022 so it has been eight days since the money was taken out of my account and still no scooter still no refund and still no response from anyone the finance company will begin taking money out the beginning of August and I have no product to show for it so I am at a loss for words I don't know what to do next I don't know what my next step would be but I definitely would never recommend a company that operates the way that this company has this is my worst business experience ever. Purchased go-kart for my kids and parts started falling off after 5 trips down a gravel driveway one of which was the brake. When purchased they stated as long as you use premium gas and keep oil changed you shouldn't have any issues. When I called mechanic said this is common because they don't have motor mounts and they vibrate a lot. I really do not understand the bad reviews on here. SOOO happy with my experience with Birdy's! I was trying to find a TaoTao Lancer but they are out of stock everywhere :( I ended up talking with Joe at Birdy's and he let me know what they had in stock and answered some questions - including checking what colors they had and I ended up getting a green (which wasn't on their website) IceBear Hawkeye which was also less expensive even with paying shipping than other places I had looked. I think it shipped the next day or so after ordering and it came via freight. I was able to assemble it in between two afternoons using assembly videos for the TaoTao Lancer (almost identical) that I found online. It wasn't the "easiest" thing ever to assemble (it comes about 85% assembled) but also with patience and backing up the videos a few times and some common knowledge, I was able to do it all on my own and saved over $1,300 than the local dealer wanted to charge me for an assembled one. The couple questions I had were answered quickly by their mechanic Chase who was also great to work with. I'm still "breaking it in," with about 50 miles or so right now on it in the last week and it just runs better every day. I received the certificate of origin just a couple days after the scooter got here and had no trouble registering it in Washington State. I couldn't be happier with my scooter or with the service that I got. 100% wonderful and if I ever need a scooter again, Birdy's will be my first call. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Drove 2.5 hours to go pick up a go cart for my kid's birthday. Paid extra to have them put it together so it was good to go. Mechanic started it and drove it up onto my trailer. Got it home and we did test run for 30-40 minutes. Engine quit and would not restart. Took engine apart. Loose screw found inside flywheel which ripped wires on coil so no spark. Had to buy new engine and install. Every nut and bolt loose on this machine. Amateurs. Good luck dealing with the owner, who has zero customer service skills and could care less about you spending your hard earned money there. read more

Ordered a atv from them and have had nothing but problems. First it showed up with out the shifter and screw to adjust the throttle had no threads also the light for neutral wire was ripped out. Then after a few hours of the kids riding it now it leaks oil none of the lights work bolts for the seat latch came out and now it's just blowing fusing and can't start or ride it only 2 weeks old. I called about a Tao Tao hellcat with a price listed in the ad at 999$, and on their website for $999 I was told they are $1395 after calling on the phone and when questioned about the HUGE price difference, i got a very smug "YEP". Then i was hung up on. JOE with the 445 number is probably one of the rudest people Ive even been in contact with on craiglist. These people are liars and obvious bait and switch con artists. I ended up buying two dirtbikes and one hellcat from brighton powersports in Michigan. Who DOES actually have the cheapest prices around and are extremely friendly. When bp gets more hellcats in, i will buy another one for my wife from there. This place doesn't have the cheapest price on ANYTHING. Please do you research. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! I ordered a four wheeler for my son for Christmas from Birdys! It has been nothing but trouble and terrible customer service. When our machine was delivered the box was completely damaged. As we open it up to investigate there are multiple spots where our machine is damaged. When we reported the problem to Birdys they did not care at all...mind you we spent $800 on this machine and it was damaged before we even put it together. We were told there are no returns or exchanges. As we get the machine together and try to get it started, let down after let down. Broken fender, broken back metal bar, scratches everywhere and we were told it was a new machine. Christmas morning my son is ecstatic that he got his dream gift...rides for 10 minutes and it hasn't worked since. After over a dozen emails and phone calls no one could help diagnose the problem. We have 3 brand new parts and none of them were the problem. I kept being told it was our problem and that they do not have returns or exchanges. They could not help us in any way and has zero other suggestions. Terrible customer service....terrible products.....DO NOT BUY HERE!!! Worst headache of my life!! I stumbled onto the Birdies site after looking at Apollo dirt bikes and found they had the bike I wanted and the color I wanted in stock. Joe emailed me the next day and helped me choose a helmet and they shipped it off Tuesday. It took 30 hours to reach me in Northern MN, but when I received my crate I inspected it and the bike was flawless. After some relatively easy part attachment I had the bike with a new batch of oil and 92 octane. Started the first kick and has ever since. If you're in the market for a beginner outdoor recreational vehicle or street bike Birdies has you covered for the best deal on earth. As well as great communication with the delivery and receiving of the bike itself. These vehicles are solid if you give them the maintenance they require. Some assembly and general small engine maintenance is required and a good socket set. For any questions I had YouTube can teach whatever you may not know. . All the employees and the owner were extremely courteous they help me through the process of picking out a great vehicle for my kids then they assembled it and it was done in a timely manner even though they asked for a week I gave him 2 weeks notice and then they help me loaded on to my trailer and security the rest was history on top of that they've offered to help with any problems with of course a fee because no services for radio obviously and then the warranty so far as long as I maintain it properly towns like it's gonna be upheld and it's a limited warranty but so far so good I recommend them to anybody And I look forward to getting more More vehicles for my kids read more

I decided on 3 of their quads, I went with 2 cheetahs and one of their Rhinos. Best part, with a military discount, I paid under $4,000!! I came across his ad on Craigslist and decided to check him out. He was very helpful over the phone, and funny too! He had a smile in his voice when we chatted, and made sure I got there safely. My quads even come with new titles, and I can have him ship to me in South Carolina when he gets any new inventory of my caliber. Purchased two DB27 bikes. Was quick to sell the bikes. Received them and parts were missing, its from China I expect it. Received the titles, needed a signed bill of sale to process the titles in Idaho. After two weeks of emails, they eventually contacted me and produced a signed bill of sale. Asked for the missing parts, no response at all. One bike is operational, the other has been put together as much as possible and has been sitting around for over a month. This was the worst experience i have ever had with a company! i had tried to buy a scooter from birdys scooters i contacted "joe" and he said that i could pick up the scooter at the warehouse from monday through friday 10 to 5.people do it all the time with no problem, when i drove 2 and a half hours to the warehouse there was no one there and they were closed . i called joe and emailed the owner troy. I waited there for a little over an hour and i had to call them again to get an answer. he said they are closed that he was sorry and that this would be fixed when i asked how? He said to give him time, i gave him a little over 2 days to fix it or contact me back with no avail. i then called him and asked how are we going to rectify this. he said he'd give me 20 dollar for the gas and told me to pick it up another day also that when i had bought the scooter that the shipping would go back onto my card right away since i was picking it up (needless to say it did not) first of all it took me 40 dollars to drive a truck down there and back with no scooter. i also wasted 5 hours of my time to get something i did not received. i told him to cancel the order right away! and told me "ill get to it when i get to it" then i called back and asked to the owner (i was then handed to a suppose owner) and she apologized saying that this never happen. i find this very had to believe. then i asked he when it would go back on my card she said papal is pretty quick. i then waited the 3 days papal pended the refund i called papal and they had told me that the funds were not available that birdys scooters did not have enough money in there account to give me a refund. waited another day longer and then it finally went back in. I wish that I could rate this business as a 0. This was the worst purchase that I have ever made. I bought a go cart for my 6 year old for Christmas 2 years ago. It was around $900. He rode it for approximately 10 hours and the engine went out. It took 6 months and constant nagging on my part to get the kart back. We pulled it off the trailer and the chain was broken. When I called the mechanic he would not talk on the phone, he would only text. He said it was my son's fault that it did not work, that the cart seemed beat up. I asked to speak with the owner and he said I should send an email. This store has terrible customer service. They do not return phone calls, or even answer the phone. The employees only text and are defensive and rude. I hope that I can save someone's time and money. Do not make a purchase at Birdy's in Anderson.
