Parking can be a bit busy but usually okay. The service both times has been patient and kind to explain the various options. We decided to go with a milk cake with half lotus and half Dubai chocolate. The cake is soaking in milk which gives it a "wet cake" texture. I imagine it may not be everyone's favorite texture but has decent flavor. The crunchy topping contrasts against the soft, moist cake. The lotus has that nice cookie flavor and crunch while the Dubai chocolate with pistachio offers that chocolate and nutty flavor. I prefer the latter but both are good. We also got a matcha strawberry latte to go. Both really nice to look at and to drink. The matcha has good flavor without being overly bitter while the strawberry provides that fruity sweetness to the drink. Overall, it's a pricier experience but I enjoyed it and will be back.

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

You can get a 6" x 6" x 6" cake for $38 or a slice for $10. Because of the airiness and deliciousness, you can easily eat a slice, or two! You'll notice throughout this review, there are monthly/weekly specials so we keep going back for more! A virtual restaurant is one that only prepares food for delivery or pickup only. There will never for indoor or outdoor dining at this restaurant. It can also be called a ghost kitchen. We started experiencing Adobar in Sep 2020 by having their savory food: Smokey Porc Adobar Meal ($12) and Spicy Chicken Adobar Meal ($12). If you are picking up, you must order ahead online and contact them when you arrive and someone will come to the entrance with your order. Adobar is located on Dundas St East, east of Jarvis. They have also made cake jars (a cake in a Mason jar) for $10 each, in various flavours. They cakes are quite thick and require a strong spoon to scope it out. They have made flavours such as: Tsoko Mousse Cake (from their famous 22-layer Tsoko Cake), Ube Coconut Cake, White Rabbit Cake, Dulce de Leche with Cheese Foam Cake, and White Chocolate Matcha Cake. Some of them are available as weekly specials only. Sometimes they with collaborate with other restaurants.  For example, in Apr 2021, they collaborated with Ulamkits' Panaderia to provide combine their bao (cheesy and sweet ensaymada), stuffed with Adobar's own smoky pork garnished with pork floss, scallions and spicy sauce. This combination was called AdoBao. It came as a kit where you have to broil it in an oven for a few minutes. For Mother's Day 2021, they collaborated with Tito Parley's Silvanas (frozen cookies with cashew-meringue wafers filled with cream). Adobar put their decadent chocolate between the wafers and wrote "Thank You" on the top wafer along with edible 23k gold leaf. You can eat it frozen or thawed. 2021-062 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

I stopped by Kream after seeing all the hype on Instagram about the famous Korean "Dubai…read morechocolate." When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!
