Bhatura was a bit too oily even with the napkin to absorb the oil. Normally this is not the case but perhaps to save time they did not drip dry the oil before packing the takeout container. Will try to order again another day to give them a chance to improve upon this small detail. Otherwise it is a very decent portion size and looks okay. Chana was just okay not very flavourful and it was watery consistency, not given enough cooking time to thicken or absorb spices. At least they provide Pickles, green chilies, sliced purple onions, the Aloo potatoes were spiced with red chilies and flavourful. Note that the sign outside advertises a Chana Bhatura Special on Wednesdays for $3.99!

It came with fish, salad, yogurt and mint sauces. I ordered garlic naan, rice and butter chicken, veggies, and chana masala. You get unlimited rice, veggies, and chana masala. Frankly, there was tons of food that I didn't go for seconds. My colleague did. It is such a good deal for lunch if you have a huge appetite. Despite being on the pricy side, it didn't taste like butter chicken and was very greasy. The naans were fluffy but lacked the garlic flavor. Needless to say, it's not an entirely pleasant experience. In comes Yarl Dosa/Yarl Dosa Corner/Dosa Corner to the rescue! I believe it's just called Yarl Dosa 'cause that's what their signage/menus say. The atmosphere at Yarl Dosa is probably the direct opposite of Guru. It's located along a strip of Kennedy S, in Brampton, where every other unit is some kinda South Indian or Caribbean eatery. Due to the dim lighting, the place appears to be closed, but it's not. No chandeliers to speak of. And there are no crowds waiting for a table. It was actually quite dead on a Wednesday evening. Lucky for me, I ended up going with friends who are from Sri Lanka, so they were able to order stuff off the menu and explain to me what certain things were. Menu are words only, some descriptions. I ordered the Ghee Paper Masala Dosa which my friend requesting extra ghee for me. Dunno why, but I think they thought that I'd like it. It was a bit too greasy for me, not to the fault of the cooks, so I think I'd skip this next time. Spicy potato was underneath the actual dosa. Chutneys were lovely, especially the spicy one! Mango lassi was absolutely delicious. It came in a bottle sealed. It was fresh and very tasty Tried the chicken wrap, it came with seasoned fries, they were a little salty but they replaced it with new ones less salty which was nice of them. The quality of the meat is good and hubby says better than other marinated meat shops. It is pricier by about $3/pound but the convenience of it being down the street is ideal. The interior is clean and has some seating to eat inside (fast casual). They were kind enough to let me sit with hubby and have my vegan shake while hubby ate as they advised they had nothing for a vegan, gluten free eater.
