From the first time I visited Dr Joel Kirsch, I felt right at home. Being a new patient, I was very pleased with the attention given to me. The office was very pleasant and the staff was very professional. Before visiting, it was suggested that I take a look at the website beforehand (if desired), as the paperwork and tons of information was available there. The website is very nicely done and there was a lot of useful information. I was able to print all the forms off and read them at my leisure - and bring them in during my visit - to avoid needing to get there 15 - 20 minutes early to fill out the paperwork. Dr Joel has great attention to detail, explains things well and has an excellent way with people. I was instantly at ease and so happy I had made the appointment. I felt immediate results and was especially pleased with the fact that I was given exercises to do at home to help the process along. I was also called at home the first night to confirm I was feeling okay, and find out if I had any questions (great touch and I really appreciated the call!). Also, I wasn't put on a 3x/week visit schedule with 5000 needed supplements like some places. I went 2x and now occasionally as needed. The office is conveniently located around the corner from Great Harvest Bread Company (they actually share a parking lot), so in addition to feeling 100% better after leaving - i was able to grab a fresh loaf of bread. I came here for my upper right shoulder because I was experiencing a very sharp pinch. I was able to get in with Dr. Kirsch. They took X-rays and he noticed that my rip was out of placement. Easy fix I guess and he was about to adjust it right back into place! I then experienced immediate relief!! I was so thankful they could get me in as soon as possible, I have three young kids who constantly need to be picked up. I'm now going for a lower back hip issue and I am seeing some amazing results. And to add to that, he even recommended some medicine to talk to my MD about and he was spot on! Who else does that??? - Trust. It is that simple. I trust this office with myself, my wife, and daughter. I do not take the time to give reviews very often and only when a business has exceeded my expectations. That is exactly what Dr. David Kirsch (owner, operator, Doctor) did for me. On 1/24/21 I bent over to put a collar on my dog for a walk. That's all it took as I fell to my knees in seizing back pain. You probably know what I am talking about. That sudden pain that takes your breath away. I called Dr. Kirsch the very next morning and he was able to get me in that same morning. I could barely walk. Dr Kirsch has always been someone who listens and investigates before taking action. Side note: my father went to see him years ago and Dr. Kirsch was honest and said he could not help him due to the type of issue - that's honesty! Dr Kirsch took x-rays of my back and determined it was an injury he could help me get back to 100% AND teach me some exercises to avoid this from happening again. I was so grateful to hear that! Due to my extensive issue and pain level, Dr Kirsch developed a plan to get me feeling normal within a few days. At this time I am on day 4 and feeling 80% better with a plan to be just about 100% in two more days. That might seem long to you but it's not. It takes time to adjust correctly without causing more pain. And let me tell you when it happened I was in the worst pain I have ever felt. Today (day 4) I walked out singing his praises not believing how much better I felt. I am literally looking forward to going back. Okay, so I went to this clinic a couple of years ago with back pain. I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. They did a preliminary exam + an x-ray, and wanted me to come back later in the evening for the actual adjustment. Problem was, when I came back at my scheduled 6PM appointment time, the office was CLOSED. No lights, door locked. Tried knocking & phoning, no response. That was enough for me - I never went back. Fast forward to this month. My husband's been having back pain & wanted to give this office a try. I warned him about my experience, but it's close to his work & he was desperate. He's gone about six times so far. First two times, he got right in. He liked the Dr, and his back was feeling better. Next three appointments, he was kept waiting a half an hour past his appointment time. Finally, he showed up for his 5:15PM appointment, and the office was again CLOSED. Bottom line, they may be good doctors but they don't respect their patients. We can find someone better. read more

Where do I even begin? Dr. Joel is the only reason why I can walk pain free after dealing with excruciating sciatic pain for months. It is very clear the chiropracters are VERY knowledgeable and truly caring about their patients. They take x-rays before and take a very methodologic and scientific approach to determine the problem. Dr. Joel really listens, explains and involves you in the treatment process. He is very skilled and seems to really know what he is doing and has a very medically based practice. David Kirsch knows chiropractic medicine, but not customer service. They sent me a bill 6 months after my first treatment with a cut up note saying I must have not paid something during my visit. I had been back there 12 times since then, paying a copayment each time. When I called, the staff claimed they had to submit it to the insurance company 3 times for review. Yet, the insurance company provided me with statements showing they decided what I owe 2 weeks after my visit---so they staff dropped the ball and then lied to cover it up. I put this all in writing to David Kirsch, had it hand delivered, heard nothing. I returned for a visit a few weeks later and again he tried to blame the insurance company. When I asked him if he read my letter he said no, he was too busy. When I left the office the staff called, saying I HAD REQUESTED A CALL, and I advised I had not and again, they had no idea of the content of the letter so I told them to read the letter and respond. It has now been 3 weeks and have still heard nothing, telling me my letter and concerns went in the garbage. I guess they are too busy for my business. read more

I went to Dr. Joel Kirsch two weeks ago for a pinched nerve. Like the previous reviewer, he spent an hour with me on that first visit and then called later that day to see how I was feeling. I've gone to him four times now and my pain is gone. I live 30 minutes from his office but it's worth the trip when you are in pain to be in good hands. I too love that this isn't an office that wants you to keep coming back on a regular basis. He fixes you! The staff is great too and they've never tried to sell me on anything either. read more
