Whenever I'm craving late night tacos, this is the truck to be at! They provide friendly service and delicious quality food. Located right across Nogales High School, this truck is easy to spot. There is plenty of parking nearby. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor seating provided. But there is a ledge to sit, if you want to eat these tasty tacos right off the truck. During the late nights, the ambiance/surrounding is quiet and for the vibes. It's a wonderful place to grab a bite and catch up with your friends. We ordered a horchata, 8 tacos, and a nacho for two people. The total came out to $29. $3 for the horchata, $2 per taco, and $10 for the nachos. The horchata was a little watered down, but was extremely refreshing. Whenever they ask if I want everything on the tacos, I say "YES"! I highly recommend trying the Tripa and Lengua. Those two are personally my favorite. I also use the green sauce and avocado sauce. BEST TWO SAUCES. The nachos were BUSSIN too. They have a little spicy kick to them and the cheese was good. Favorite taco truck in Walnut in front of the KFC and across from Nogales High School. The food was really good. My family ordered 1 nachos with Cabeza and 2 burritos with Cabeza, it feed the four of us. I always asked for the grilled onions and jalapeno on the side. The burrito was a bit too dry and typically when that happens the salsa would be a nice fix. I got the al pastor burrito for myself which came with two different sauces, grilled onions & jalapeños, and radishes. The burrito itself was honestly just alright. The rice and beans melded together and the meat kind of got lost in the mess. It didn't have a strong flavor but it was good enough to satisfy my craving. I also tried the carne asada burrito and again the meat flavor was just alright - didn't have a good texture. BUT... it was a hefty burrito and they really packed in a lot of protein and filling. They're there everyday from 5pm to midnight, which is great especially for late night cravings. The guys that work in the truck are super nice and patient. Robert and his younger brother Miguel are super friendly and happen to be former students at the wife's school. Solid choices of meats and items - tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. We've had them all and they're all super good. Stumbled upon this taco truck and wanted to check it out. They're open late so if you're looking for a late night meal they'll be open. Each taco spot specializes in a different meat. I asked what the most popular one was and she recommended the Pastor. I got nachos with al pastor as well as asada and pastor tacos. The nacho portion was very generous. It was topped with a lot of meat, onions, salsa, sour cream, and cheese. It comes with beans but I asked for no beans. The cheese sauce didn't taste like they made it but sometimes you're craving nachos that isn't super fancy. These helped quell my craving but I can understand if people want the chips and cheese to be made from scratch. The pastor was pretty good, but could definitely use more flavor. The tacos were more disappointing and if I came back it would be for the nachos. I've had better asada and pastor. Both meats need more seasoning and were dry. The tortillas became really soggy wrapped in the foil. As a result, the tacos were falling apart. The salsas I got also were lacking more of a punch. For me it was just there to add moisture instead of adding some more flavor. This taco truck could use some work on the food. The people running this truck are so nice. Open late almost every night. Why would you go to Taco Bell if this place is around. Price is fair, I got a pastor nachos, and it was jam packed with nacho, meat, beans, rice (I asked for it with rice), there was no skimping in the volume department or the flavor. I think both of them were $8 each and it was def worth it. The quesadillas were loaded with pork, and I liked how well-seasoned the pork was. One downside is that the quesadilla was very oily. The nachos were also filled with pork, enough onion and cilantro that added flavor, and crunchy tortillas. However, we felt like it was a little too salty on some pieces of the pork.
