BEST PASTOR in the SGV!…read more I get mine in a burrito with cheese and tons of fresh cucumber. Their pastor is juicy and tender. The cucumber has a slightly spicy glaze on it, making it both refreshing and fiery. This taco stand tends to move around. So our group of ten headed out and parked by the strip mall where Skechers is. Everyone didn't waste time in ordering. Most people in the group had tacos while I had burrito. Service was really fast. With the tacos, you put garnishing after they hand you the plate. With the burrito, they let you put the garnishing first before they wrap it. It ended up so big that I asked them to cut it in half. We also ordered some drinks which are either soda, water or frescas. I had the horchata which was very good but too sweet but there's nothing an additional ice can't fix. We ended up all full and satisfied. Everything was great. I could have easily given them five stars but we were overcharged. The next day my friend went and inquired about it. Although they acknowledged the mistake and gave a refund, I would suggest checking your bill before paying.

And the cilantro lime sauce? Absolutely amazing. It ties everything together and adds such a fresh, bright kick to the tacos. On top of the food, the service is always friendly, professional, and easy to work with. You can really tell there's passion behind what they do. Lo and behold, thanks to Christina the business exists on here and has been christened "Jiang Xiang Bing Guy"! Although he was working solo that day, when I decided to return on an empty stomach, he had an assistant helping with seasoning and chopping up the 酱香饼. There were about five folks waiting by the time I got there Sunday evening. The guy with the blue UCLA hoodie was purposefully putting on a show, since he had two phones set up for streaming. Every now and again, when he gets a request from someone, he would say "OK no problem!" and continues with kneading, rolling, and transferring the dough to the big ol' frying machine. At $10 per order, perhaps a part of the cost is the spirited mini-interactions. After paying via Venmo, I showed the gal my phone. 他是老板 she said jokingly as she handed me the food. I had mine mild, and honestly it was a delightfully crispy and savory snack for a cold winter evening.

Intrigued and a lover of street foods, I went last night to check it out hoping he was at the same spot and he was! (Honestly San Gabriel Superstore parking lot be popping with bomb street food stalls and trucks over these past years). The guy was calling his food a Chinese pizza but it's actually a Chinese street food called Jiang Xiang Bing(酱香饼) which basically means "saucy pancake". If you can't speak Chinese(don't worry he does understand English though but he spoke to me in Mandarin by default lol), just give him $10 and he will give you a portion. If you don't have cash, he has QR codes for digital payments and once it goes through you can hear his phone notification from his car. When he's done making the bread and ready to chop it, he will ask you how spicy you want it. You can say "xiao la" for mild or say yes and nod your head for the regular spicy lol. The pan fried flat bread was crispy and the sweet and spicy soy bean sauce really went well with it, I'd get it again!!!

If you want to be embarrassed with your guest go ahead and hire them Their catering is the worst! We told them it would be for 70 people and the guy they sent was serving so much meat in each taco that he ran out of food within an hour and a half! In total our guests ended up being less than 70 including kids I feel like the guy did it on purpose and had somewhere to be. Also doubt they sent enough meat for 70 people. It was so unfair to our guests that kept arriving Luckily we had other food but obviously our main dish was the tacos He even took the horchata we payed for lol When we called to complain they took 0 accountability, and flipped it on us claiming we had way more than 70 guests lol RIDICULOUS!

I finally got the chance to stop by this place and let me tell you.. it's pretty hard to beat. I have a go to taco stand in my area and this place definitely gives it a run for its money. I am a taco lover and a spice lover as well - so those two combined always make me dance. To start, I ordered the cabeza (head meat) and asada tacos (5 total tacos) and a horchata. The protein is fantastic - I mean the cabeza was perfect and cut in larger chunks which I enjoyed more so I could chew it and experience the texture. The asada was cooked and seasoned perfectly and was NOT dry!! Awesome delightful food! Not to mention they use 1 corn tortilla per taco which is great for those looking to cut carbs. The horchata was perfect as it was not too sweet and had the perfect cinnamon balance! They also offered PINA and occasionally Champurrado. The salsa is great with avocado salsa, mild, and hot. Great flavor here! They also have all toppings you would normally expect at a taco stand with grilled Serano peppers! So fire for those looking for extra spice! The service is quick and the staff is friendly! They use a ticket system so you can order quickly and pack salsa, cucumbers, onion, and radish to be ready when your order is called. I will say it's a little more on the pricey side as 5 tacos and a horchata was $19. My friend got 6 tacos and a horchata and his was $22 - making each taco $3. So if you want cheaper tacos - look elsewhere My friend also tried lengua and al pastor which were both good - but not as good as the cabeza or asada. Would recommend if you're in the area, and I will be back!
