I always passed by this place and never knew it was so highly rated. So I decided to check them out this week. I ordered the queso taco combo with consume. I called in my order and it was ready to pick up in 5 mins. The combo comes with 3 tacos and they were really good. The consume was nice and hot with some birria in it. It was good when I just got it. When I tried to eat it later in the day, it was a bit salty so I couldn't finish it. I will try the burrito next time. Definitely give them a try. I've been wanting to try this truck for a little bit. The truck is not too far from us. My husband was going to pick something up in the TJ's shopping center so I asked him to pick up a taco or two for us to sample since I wasn't too hungry. He ended up getting the 3 quesa tacos with consomé on the side. The plate comes with onions/cilantro on the side, a ziploc of lemons, pickled onions, and radishes, and hot sauce. Tacos were cheesy and meaty! I added the onions and cilantro along with a squeeze of lemon and hot sauce and dipped it in the consomé. Tasty! The meat was not chewy or tough or too fatty. A little bit of fat floating on the top of the consomé but not a lot (I am a person that does not like fat). I wish I would've taken a picture of the insides of the taco and the consomé without the lid on top. Next time... Because there will be a next time ;-p really good and local birria tacos! read more

Yum yum yum is what I have to say. I was looking for a place that had tacos nearby canoga park but found this little gem in chatsworth which is super close by to Canoga park and quick to get to. I placed the order the phone and the gentleman who answered was super nice and helpful. He asked me how far I was and I said 10 min he said perfect your order will be ready by the time you get here. When I arrived the food was hot and ready to go and purchased a Mexican Coke to go with it. The food truck was super clean and super organized it's parked on Mason in front of Trader Joe's. I took my order and took it back to my office and let me tell you it did not disappoint. This is the best Birria ramen that I've had. Also, cheaper than other places. They give you a little baggy with the ramen that includes cilantro/onion mix, radishes, pickled spicy onions, hot sauce, and lime wedges. I feel that this is such a thoughtful thing to do. Many times I pass by this truck I was wondering if they have good Birria Tacos. Always tempted but hesitant not knowing the quality. Finally we decided to give it a try. Actually to our surprise it was very good. Ironically a little lighter than a good authentic Birria. But that might be a good thing. Three Cheese taco combo with the sauce was $15 not too bad! Comes with radishes onions and pickled onions and a hot sauce as well. You have to order two or three for one person to fill full because it's light for a Birria! Good quick service. I noticed no gloves when preparing the food which is not a big deal for me but some people may be a problem. I think for the sake of convenience I'll probably go back. The food is amazing, the Queso Tacos are perfectly crispy and the soft tacos are done just right, great size, great asada! I'm always skeptical of getting birria now a days since it's all hype and no flavor at most places. BUT NOT HERE!!!! This place was bomb! You know that Quinceañera birria you end up leaving with Tupperware's full it's so good? It's that delicious! It's authentic, juicy, and full of flavor. And that red salsa has the perfect enough heat and flavor that pairs perfect with the meat. If you live in the area, don't second guess it & try it yourself. I ordered a birria plate and zero complaints here. Rice was the good authentic orange kind, and was nice and fluffy. And I usually always add salt to my beans but these were perfect so no need. I'm glad they weren't stingy on the extra condiments either. The guy attending the register was super down to earth and as everyone knows, good service makes the food taste better. I ordered 2 Queso Tacos, a small order of the birria broth, a side of rice and two sides of cilantro aaaaaaand the food was perfection. I watched through the window for a bit and was very surprised at the amount of cheese & meat on the tacos and glad I had only ordered 2 because they were filled with both! The meat....sigh...tender, juicy and best flavor I've sampled anywhere so far. I am VERY picky about my rice and theirs was fluffy, authentically flavored and NOT DRY...like almost every place I've ordered rice from before. When I asked for two sides of cilantro the kind gentleman at the order window informed me that the cilantro and onions were already mixed together. I said "Oh no, I can't...." and without me even finishing my sentence he said "No problem, I'll chop some up for you." WOW...customer service magnificence!!!! What I didn't get to finish saying is that I can't eat raw onions because they tear my tummy up but I LOVE cilantro on....everything...anything....GREAT first visit!!
