Tried this taco truck a few weeks ago and it was a different experience from some others I've tried recently. There were some tables and chairs for seating. Plenty of parking around so thats good. After waiting a moment at the window I was helped by a nice cashier. I was going to order the Birria tacos but it was the wrong day. So I had carne asada, and chicken tacos. It wasn't the special of the day but I didn't mind paying full price for them. The carne asada tasted different. Really reminded me of a barbecue in the park. I tasted more of the grill than seasoning. But while I was absorbing the taste, I couldn't get over the chewing I had to do. It was a lot of ligament! I have never experienced that at a taco truck. I tried the chicken and figured that would be less chewy but wow. Same thing! I'm not sure who buys the meat but...I think they need it might need some updating. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I'll have to think about whether or not I'll give it another try. read more

We had cravings for tacos and so we decided to pick some up. We weren't sure if this is the same taco truck we've had before across CSUN on Plummer St and across Baskin Robbins. It was a white food truck and those tacos were delicious. We ordered 7 carne asada tacos and 3 pollo tacos. The pollo tacos were over cooked and had plenty of ligaments. The carne asada was also over cooked and had plenty of ligaments. They were not flavorful. The tacos were filled with cilantro and huge slices of onions. Not proportioned sizing with the meat. The tacos needed more carne asada and pollo. The cucumbers however were all freshly cut and were delicious. There's plenty of delicious taco eateries and food trucks in the San Fernando Valley that we can't wait to try and patronize. Sadly, this is not one that we will be visiting again. read more

Food is great there tacos and burritos are definitely good i always get the 1/2 asada 1/2 pastor and red salsa hits the spot man. There quesabirria tacos as well are fire wich that day i believe its on Thursday they are so packed they have a long line they must be doing something good!!! read more

Went for taco Tuesday, stood in line for a very long time just to get the skimpiest tacos ever, I had to combine two tacos to make one! Gave it another shot on torta night I think it's on Thursdays and same thing.. skimpy! Salsas are good and meats are actually tasty but maybe steer clear of the "specials". read more

My go to taco Tuesday shop! You can't beat $1 tacos especially nowadays. The line can get pretty crazy during busy hours so be prepared to wait. I've liked every meat I've tried but my favorites are probably the carne asada and ribs (they're just a hassle to eat). read more

Unsure of how this spot has any good reviews. Today was the last time I'll ever visit this spot. Cash only, they didn't tell me until I had ordered. No zelle, no cash app, no Venmo or card, solely cash. Luckily I had cash and was able to try the less than average torta. I got a torta de asada and it sucked. Salsas were ok. Whatever. Wasn't planning on coming back but I was in the area and was being cheap. I came back for taco Tuesday because they advertised they were $1. At 5:45PM, there was already a line (they open at 6) . They didn't take any orders until 6:10PM, and after ordering and paying I was told there was about a 25 minute wait to even get my order. No other spot in the valley does this. And the ones that take a while, will ALWAYS give you a heads up as a consideration to patrons. I left. Unsure of what mystery meat they're using because the whole spot STUNK. Usually the aroma entices one and no matter how hungry I was it reeked. Also, you're in line in the hot sun outside rite aid so take an umbrella if you're really that desperate for these nasty tacos. WARNING DONT COME HERE I had high hopes for asadas al infierno, but it was a letdown. The tacos were soggy tortillas and had bland fillings. The meat was dry, and there wasn't much seasoning or toppings and they CHARGE for salsa which isnt the best either. The staff wasn't friendly either. They charge $1 per salsa where the containers aren't even full. Overall food is pretty good, but quality definitely isn't that same as when they were a stand. I ordered 3 tacos and carne asada fries and that only came with 3 half filled salsa cups, anything beyond that is $1 extra. read more

Flavor is decent, but they skimp on the protein. I even go on nights when I pay full price for the tacos and find my meat drowning in tortilla. On top of that, they forgot part of our order tonight (they weren't busy) so we had to come all the way back after going home. Very disappointing as I started coming to this spot before they became really popular and had to watch as the quality went down. read more

Went here cuz I saw it in on IG, went mainly for the ribs, but the rib I got was mainly fat and bone, the tacos were small tortillas with barely any meat, hope they were $2 each cuz if not we got robbed. The meat had a good taste just not enough of it. Probably won't go back here. Angels Tacos on Sherman Way and the 405 are way better. read more

This is my go to taco spot because it's a few minutes away from my house. Every meat I've tried so far has been great and the price is also really good. The service has always been really good and my food is ready pretty quick. Only downside is that it's cash only but not that big of a deal. read more
