    California Birria Burrito
    Ashley Y.

Really delicious food. The California burrito was especially good. The Birria pizza was okay - crust was so so, kind of tough and lots of Birria meat (actually too much for me). I think the pizza needs some more freshness like avocados. The chips and guac were fresh and good. I tried their taco Tuesday deal and the tacos were great - I just think they need more freshness and acidity (more red onion, cilantro, lime juice). Lots of meat in the tacos, would not decrease that. I think the price point is pretty high - each dish is about $18-20. Service is nice but you do have to tip as it is a sit down restaurant and they automatically add 18%. Their weekly specials aren't worth it because they're all dine in only except for taco Tuesday and with tip, the discount is basically nothing. the interior is so cute and well decorated! Very pleasant to eat there.

Nice well rounded restaurant. The service was great and the food really good. I really enjoyed the ramen. Wait time was a little long. Other than that. I feel this is a great place to try.

I did carry out here this my second time. Next time I will be eating in. The place was nice. Very clean. The customer service was excellent. They packed the food very nice! The food was delicious, I will be back.

Stopped by this place for the first time as it's been on my list to visit for a little bit. Met my girlfriend here for a taco Tuesday! The establishment is very nice. Clean! The bathroom was so cute as well! Loved the dia de los muertos inspired wall paper! When this place says they love Birria, they mean it! Everything on the menu featured Birria! Our food was so delish! The Birria Ramen is amazing! Not overly salty and perfect for the cooler weather that's approaching! The Birria pizza, 9.5 out of 10! Pretty cheesy but no complaints for that here!! The only downside to this place is they do not serve liquor, which we didn't know! After a long workday, we were looking forward to a cocktail or two. It is BYOB & they do charge a cork fee. The waitresses were very friendly and happy to help! I would most definitely return! Check them out!

The food here is full of flavor! My first visit to Birria Love happened due to the location being highly recommended by a family member. I am glad that I listened to the recommendation. My meal started with the Birria Egg Rolls. The Egg Rolls include Monterrey Jack cheese and beef Birria. The menu item is served with a consommé and a special sauce. Each of the dipping options were tasty, but I preferred the consommé. Next, I tried the Birria Ramen. The ramen was hands down everything I was hoping it was going to be. The ramen was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Not the mention it smelled divine. The ramen is the must try item at Birria Love.

Birria Ramen A pleasant surprise that it comes with a Birria taco on the side. Ramen noodles were doughy tasting. Good amount of Birria on top, again the broth needed more seasoning to it. The beef was also tough in some bites. The raw onions were overpowering and needed something to balance the flavors out. Nice touch with the fresh cilantro. I will admit I am spoiled and have a bias because the ramen shop in my neighborhood makes their noddles fresh with an amazing rich, flavorful broth. Just okay ramen here. Surf & Birria Pizza The edges were a bit too chard for my liking. The Birria could've used a bit more seasoning and flavor. They give an excellent amount of Birria, covering the whole pizza. The shrimp were very undercooked and raw in some bites. The broth was a underwhelming in flavor and tasted watered down. I Cynivised by ordering a side of queso to drizzle on top. The queso was not a good cheese texture so it didn't pan out like I wanted it to. Queso Really salty and thick like velveeta processed cheese. I also suspect it's microwaved to warm it up because it was cold very quickly making it a gelatinous goop. Not a fan. Overall the Birria was just okay. Some bites were tough and dry, which threw off the experience. I would love to see more flavor in the broth. Service Staff were friendly. Not automatic gratuity impressive though. Definitely not worth an 18% gratuity rate on the bill either. If I had been informed of this I would have opted to carryout. Be forewarned. I appreciated that the waitress did remind me of the automatic gratuity when I paid so I could choose to double tip or not. H2O Cute tequila bottle being reused for water. The water itself had a strong bleach and lead smell. I didn't drink it. Logistics I like the self service carryout kiosks. Dine in seats were plentiful and comfy bench seats. Excellent decor, love the ladies room wallpaper; too cute. Plenty of parking options. While it didn't feed my soul, maybe it does yours?

I loved this place from top to bottom! The waiting area was super cute , the tables and chairs were comfortable and it was a vibe for sure. I went to visit my kid for the day on campus and she loves this place and I'm happy to say I agree with her and loved it too. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and I love a good greeting. Once seated our server came over, took our order, provided recommendations and answers to my questions. I always let my waiter know it's my first time so they know they have some work to do lol. J/k The horchata was great, empanadas great, tacos great, the food came out hott and was delicious. I like my food hott temp wise. I really enjoyed this place and hope to go again when I visit my kid on campus.

A beautifully designed restaurant with excellent service and welcoming and friendly staff. This eatery has becoming quite popular among locals, and the hype is well deserved. The menu focuses on birria dishes, so this is not quite the spot for vegetarians and vegans. Nonetheless, the chips and queso was delicious! This is a great spot to get together with friends or have a date night.

Forget birria tacos have you tried a birria pizza???? Birria love is located in north Baltimore not to far from Morgan state university. The ambiance is open spaced and there's a spot in the back for ladies to take pictures with their floral decor. Our waitress was friendly and attentive when we asked questions as It was our first time there. We ordered the birria pizza, empanadas, horchata and Jamaica or sorrel. The sorrel was simply delicious It was a good blend of hibiscus and sweetness I loved It. My brother enjoyed the horchata as he mentioned It tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk The empanadas were good but I do not think I would order them again. It lacked flavor and I wished It was filled with more things like cheese. The birria pizza is big enough to share between two people and is filling. It also comes with consommé and they do not skimp on the birria. The birria is soft, tender and flavorful I heard they have specials on Tuesdays that I will try the next time I come.

It's a good size pizza coming with eight slices. Fantastic cheese pull, and has a squeakiness to the cheese. If you know, you know. They were a little skimpy on the toppings, would've loved a few more pepperonis, especially since I'm paying for it. The dough was phenomenal; fresh, soft, with a nice crisp to it. The crust was so good, that after you finish eating the pizza you could take the end and dip it in some garlic sauce, if only they gave you some. The sauce was perfectly flavored, the tomatoes tasted fresh. I'm not a thin sliced pizza person, this one made me change my tune. This was a well executed pie. The owner told me that it was one of the best, I'll have to give it to him definitely high ranking, and definitely feeds my soul. Curly Fries Freshly fried, golden on the outside. No complaints, good fries. Italian Cold Cut I like the meat tasted fresh, thin, sliced, and the toppings were also fresh. I took off a star because it didn't fit the meat to bread ratio. It was too much bread and not enough meat to match the thickness of the roll. The role tasted fresh was good bread. All in all, it's good to see a mom and pop that has lasted the test of time. Recently moved back to the area and decided to get takeout. Two salads in the order were the saddest grilled chicken salads I have ever have paid $13 for. They offered to remake and I decided to pick up. In person they apologized for poor quality and promised that this time it would be much better. I did not check in the store. I got home. It was the EXACT SAME salad as described in above paragraph but with two tablespoons of dressing on the side. Epic disappointment of the high quality take out establishment that Parkville has lost. I wish I could give two stars for the offering to remake but I just can't.

I had ordered ahead via Toast, grabbing a cheesesteak on a seeded roll with extra meat, onions and a light spread of mayo--assuming the seeded roll would be very crusty & rigid and need the spread to moisten it a bit. The sauce here was sweet but not too sweet, it was flavorful most importantly and the amount was just right, not too much. I love that it's not light on the cheese. (If you like your pizza less oily, I would avoid ordering meat toppings or just do what I do and blot the pizza gently with a paper towel to remove the excess oil.) The sub was barely warm. The meat was good , the red onions were chopped (not many), and the cheese was a scant slice of American at the base of the roll. I was disappointed!
