Steer clear of this restaurant. I usually don't try new places without checking yelp first. Against my better judgement I went on the recommendation of a friend. Food was not seasoned. Service was okay I guess. I seen a least two mice as I was paying my bill. The server saw the last mouse and tried to play it off. I am certain most restaurants have mice. What can you say, Food was bland the ribeye was the worst I have had in years. And the Shrimp Diablo was hit but not flavorful. The second dish was the person with us who went with a combo plate. Love this place! I've been here a few times, once with the office and twice with one other person at the bar, and they have always been friendly and welcoming. They are very generous with their tequila shots, and I can tell you it's not easy going back to work when you're having such a good time! This past trip I had the Asada enchiladas and it really hit the spot, with the cheesy enchiladas pairing with the steak. As a first timer I was thoroughly impressed! The service is outstanding. Before we had fully sat down a server was on the way with complimentary chips and salsa (the salsa was very good, as a spicy eater I enjoyed that it had some heat to it). The food was also very good, notably the queso gringo which has large pickled jalapeños added in, and the sizzling enchiladas were outstanding. The chicken quesadilla was enormous! We also enjoyed the fajitas as they weren't dripping in grease. The house margarita was nice and strong. However, the star of the evening were the churros, absolutely delicious. I found the bar to be lively and enjoyed the decorations. They do have great happy hour specials and it's advertised Monday-Thursday from 5-8pm. We will certainly be back! read more

I am always up for good Mexican - TexMex foods and drinks. I was told about Jose Tequilas in Owings Mills. From the front door to the back door, the decor is Mexican inspired. The staff was great. Bar staff, the most attentive I have ever seen regardless of crowd size. I ordered ground beef tacos and their top shelf Margarita. Let's start with the Margarita. It was well balanced and I could feel it down in my toes. The tacos looked plain but once they brought me a side of Pico de gallo and sour cream, it was a party. Good flavor and Pico was the perfect topping to tie the dish togther. The refried beans and rice were the perfect compliment to the dish. Happy hour seems like a good time to go. The salmon quesadilla was very soft and didn't provide enough cheese for me. The side rice and vegetables were very bland with absolutely no seasoning. I went here over the weekend with my husband, sister in law, daughter and niece. My husband wanted to build a quesadilla and add shrimp, they told him he couldn't do that and gave a recommendation (he told her specifically what he wanted in his meal and he said no beans) they bring him a burrito with the beans in it. He tasted it and didn't like it . We asked the waitress to correct this and she stated there was nothing she could do. We asked for the check and the manager. The manager came and stated the meal would take like 40 mins to prepare and when we said we could wait he changed his mind said he could do it and don't like what we did (mind u my husband took like 2 bites. We stated we spent our money here and inquired why our food couldn't be corrected and he rudely stated this a family business and he spent his money here too . He did refund the money but he did it very rudely! Upon leaving we realized we didn't get all our food that we did pay for! First we order Cokes, get Pepsi. He replaced it with a coke. Ordered the Hot Tamales. I double checked the menu because I don't eat quac or sour cream-came out with both. He took it back. ten minutes later it is back out. My husband has finished. Pros Ample parking, accessible location right off beltway, extensive food/ beverage menu, kind staff (especially Delmis). Great Tijuana Chicken Wings. Well seasoned and flavorful. Fantastic drinks, I got the Bahama Mama. Cons So much on menu that nothing is perfected re: food. Food temperature ranged from luke warm to luke warmer. Charge for every little thing (Beans and Rice)... that's standard at most places. Anndddd I ordered the $4 Beans and Rice that never made it to table. Ordered Camaron (Shrimp Tacos) and Pollo Azado. No and nah. Their mexican food isn't pretty, flavorful or fulfilling. My Shrimp Tacos had the smallest shrimp ever viewed! There was space in my little tortilla that wanted more added but there was none. Lastly, the air conditioner was not fully functioning. It was 3K folks in there and 90° out. Since I have so many friends and family that enjoy this establishment, I'd return for Wings and a Beverage only. read more

This establishment has definitely grown on me. The staff is very personable. I honestly have always only had the best service in the bar area. Times when I have sat at a table I have experienced inattentiveness and negative energy overall from the wait staff in a consistent basis. Reuben and Jessica are my faves at the bar. They deliver excellent customer service and are always attentive to customers needs. They know how to multitask and have recommended excellent dishes for me to try and review. The manager who I believe name is Frederick is very kind, personable and hospitable. The only thing on the menu I tried and didn't particularly care for were the barria tacos. Yuk! Maybe it's because I've had way better. It looked nothing like the advertisement and tasted horrible. Took one bite and sent it back. Otherwise everything else I've had was excellent. Please take a look at the pics. Oh and let me add I have no idea why the bathroom has this funny sewer water-like smell because it's always clean but for sensitive noses it may bother you. A Lysol or glade spray attachment that squirts every few minutes may help a great deal. Overall I love this spot!
