We have only gotten pizza from there to go but it's very good pizza. New York style, the kind you can fold up. The sauce is on point. I can tell they use good cheese, it makes a big difference. I have tried every other pizza place within several miles as I recently moved into town, just a hop and a skip away from Dominick's. Pizza is up there with my top favorite foods under the sun. I'm pretty picky about pizza. Of course, everyone's palate is unique and a lot of pizza details are a matter of preference! The sauce here was sweet but not too sweet, it was flavorful most importantly and the amount was just right, not too much. I love that it's not light on the cheese. (If you like your pizza less oily, I would avoid ordering meat toppings or just do what I do and blot the pizza gently with a paper towel to remove the excess oil.) I've tried a lot of high end pizza places in this area in the last few months and I'm surprised this place has such a low star score because Giovanna's pizza is pretty good and so is Remo's of NY but I actually really like Dominick's pizza better. I don't even usually prefer the thin floppy type of pizza necessarily. But the crust texture and flavor is just right, the sauce tastes homemade, like I said, good cheese. And it's been consistent which is great. I haven't eaten in at the location, only gotten pizza for take out, but all in all this is the best pizza I've had so far in Baltimore and this will be my new regular pizza spot. :) read more

We were in the area, picking up an item from a fb marketplace seller, and needed a snack. Yelp made Dominick's look decent, so we stopped in. This is a take away place only. No seating. There was a television to keep us company while we waited, about 20 minutes, for our sandwiches. I had the Steak Swiss Burger (Swiss, fried onions, mushrooms and A-1 sauce, plus mayo) but found the A1 sauce overwhelming. Also I did not expect double patties. This will be pretty hilarious when we come to Jeremy's order. The fries were perfect - crisp yet soft in the middle, and nicely seasoned. Jeremy had the BBQ Burger (BBQ sauce, savory bacon, Swiss cheese and fried onions - substituted out the Swiss for cheddar and pepperjack) and asked to double the meat. The woman behind the counter looked at him funny but gave him what he wanted. We didn't know until he unwrapped his monstrosity of a burger that it had FOUR patties on it. He also had some garlic parmesan wings, which he hated because they also had hot sauce on them. They didn't offend me, but I'm not the chicken wing eating expert of the relationship. I placed an order from Dominick's on Friday and had a very disappointing experience. The delivery driver left my food outside without properly notifying me and was extremely rude during the interaction. When I called the restaurant to report the issue, the manager told me my number would be given to the owner, but I never received a follow-up. I am extremely upset by the lack of professionalism and consideration shown. I am a paying customer and expect to be treated with basic respect. Delicious cheesesteak, I found this spot on yelp and decided to take a chance at it. The bread on my cheesesteak was amazing. Wish they would have put my hots and extra mayo but they didn't. My cheese was plentiful. I ended up buying a pizza as well for my baby girl. Cutting it seemed to be a struggle for them but overall it was tasty. UPDATED: they ended up charging our card. We called the credit card company to dispute the charges. To tell us we'd have the refund in 3-5 days was just another lie. Yesterday was the last time we'll order from this place. We've been coming here for many years, my husband alone prior to that. We've dealt with our fair share of cold pizzas, topping missing, wrong pizzas sent, but yesterday was it. At 2:30 pm we ordered a simple order, $10 of it was a driver's tip (we always tip well). Over an hour later, we were still still waiting. We called, were put on hold, got disconnected and called back again. When l asked if they knew anything about our order, they immediately knew what order l was calling about. l was told they were waiting on the driver....so they knew it was late. She told me they only had one driver. Then she said "it's on the way". A 1/2 hour later we called again. We were told it would be 10 minutes. "He was on his way" l said "to us or to pick up our order?" the response was "to you". I said will it be hot? She said yes, we only have one driver. We knew it wasn't on the way. We ended up canceling the order and asked for a refund. No refund or notice of a refund being processed today and they're telling us the refund can take up to 5 days to receive. Come freaking on. This place is a joke anymore. We're finally done. If you don't have enough drivers, then post something on your FB page or business page. This has been our go to Covid-19 pizza delivery spot. I have found the pizza to be exceptional compared to the bigger brand names as Domino's and Pizza Hutt. The pizzas crust is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The white veggie pizza we ordered was delicious. The different cheeses on top was delightful alongside the fresh broccoli. The only reason I can't give them a 5 is that my order isn't always right. They sometimes, not often, miss a condiment, cheese, a drink or something small. However, the food is always delish, fresh, hot, and delivered promptly, and with care. Their sauce is a nice balance of sweet and tangy, and somewhat thick. The pasta (pizza dough) is not heavy and has a nice flavor, not heavy -- just right. Their version of extra cheese is a lot of cheese. I've had their subs, sandwiches, BBQ bacon super big burger, pastas (lasagna and shells), salads and apps. Never disappointed. yet. One sub will last 2-3 days. They're stuffed, fresh and big. I think the negative reviews came when staff was short, order volumes were high, and just nothing seems easy with COVID. I've eaten Pizza from Portland ME to Key West Florida, from San Diego to Seattle . Each region slightly different thin crust,thick crust, cauliflower crust. And that being said it's hard to find a "local" Pizza that's dependably good time after time. I live in Parkville MD and there are over 30 pizza places in a five mile diameter from my house. Only one stands out above the other 29. Domeniks of Parkville is crazy busy takeout or delivery pizza place. The phone rings off the hook from open to close. What I've found is a pizza that is tasty, fresh and to my liking. Wings that are always juicy and salads and desserts that are excellent. First, I believe Yelp is saying Bruce B. It's really Bruce C. I been dealing with Dominicks's since 1973. Back then it was he and his wife working while his son and daughter played. Pizza was very good then. More up to date now, I love their pizza. I could come home (I usually always pick up) and kill a 14" pizza. I get the large 2 topping special with EXTRA SAUCE. The taste is great, toppings could be a little more plentiful. I had one pizza that I don't think had extra sauce. Had problems waiting for my ordered in advance pizza and waited 20 minutes outside, which was 30 minutes after ordering. I still highly recommend, consider trying extra sauce and the lean bacon is very good too. read more

Seemed like everything was fresh, my only complaint as minor as it may seem...was the large chunks of tomato, either they didn't process the tomatoes with the sauce well or that's what their going for. Sauce was good, but it held it back from a 9. A little more toast on the bread, with maybe some fresh mozz and this sub could easily be a 9.5.. Gravy fries were top notch, the brown gravy was rich and delicious. Didn't seem like something they just microwaved to heat up. This place is located on Harford Rd on the left hand side if you are traveling towards the city line and on the right hand side if you are coming from the city line and going towards the beltway or Carney area. Dominick's is known more for their "Buy One, Get One Free" Medium Pizza deal that they have had going on for years. I have tried their pizza before and it's not too bad. It's not a thin crust type pizza and is somewhat cheesy and greasy. So, if you're more into the New York style Pizza, you might not care too much for it. Yet, to get one free as well, it may not be so bad after all. I have only eaten their pizza and cheesesteaks thus far. I recently ordered a Provolone Cheesesteak there and it was pretty decent. I have had better elsewhere, but it was still decent to where I would order it again. They toast the bun, which is really good, and the steak doesn't taste too bad either. I ordered the combo meal which came with a can of soda and french fries. The french fries were really good, and they give you a decent serving of them in a bag. I have to agree with some of the other reviews about the customer service and attitude of the people working there. Not exactly the most cheerful people there. They weren't rude or anything, but it seemed like I was dealing with someone who didn't want to be there. There is metered parking on the street in front of the shop and maybe two tables to eat at in there, so you might want to do carryout here instead of eating inside. I wasn't there long enough to see how it looked inside as far as cleanliness, but I didn't sense it being dirty. I would go back there again. There are plenty of specials for lunch, dinner, pizzas, etc.. Plus the prices are pretty reasonable. a 8" cheesesteak, fries and 12oz can of soda cost be only $6.58 around 2:30PM on a weekday. Do not order here. The food used to be good, but has gone so far downhill. They almost always get something wrong or forget things outright, ignore specific requests, and the experience is inexusable. The manager, Ariel, legitimately lied to me and tried to blame grubhub for a missing order when Grubhub assured me the restaurant's own driver was delivering it -- I have ordered here about 30 times, and they always do their own delivery. They then hung up on me twice without a word when I called to ask if the food was close (when it was almost an hour late), yet answered immediately when I called from a different number, clearly screening calls and refusing to admit that they lost the order. I'm picky about where I get pizza from since I move around a lot, once I settle on a spot it's usually for good reason. I must say though that I think I'm going to take a break from here because the last time I ordered, the delivery guy muttered under his breath that I was a non-tipping asshole.
