We have been by this restaurant many,many times, we finally stopped in. Some of the reviews were glowing, and others at the opposite end. So we decided to make our own opinion. They were busy behind the counter, or the kitchen area, and it was noisy, lots of cooking tools clanking. I guess this is in response to many take out orders. The dining room is small with a few tables and chairs, it did not take long to fill up. When you enter, they have take out menus with combo specials in the centerfold... some good deals. And over the counter, hung from the ceiling are also specials on a chalk board, which is what we chose from My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, no hot meats . This came with a plastic glass for self-serve Coke products. No free refills, though. It was a typical sub, fresh and up to par. I ordered the much praised cheesesteak sub with raw onions and asked them to toast the roll. Our orders took all of 20 min. My sub needed something, I could not figure out exactly what. The sub was barely warm. The meat was good , the red onions were chopped (not many), and the cheese was a scant slice of American at the base of the roll. I was disappointed! Who serves American cheese on a cheese steak sub? The owner said they make it that way unless you specify otherwise (I wish I knew that when ordering). Next time, I have to give it to them. We tried the pizza and breakfast for the first time last week and it's was just tasty! They make their own pizza sauce and crust. The breakfast was made to perfection as well. I got the veggie omelette with cheese, home fries and toast. Let me tell you this is my new breakfast spot! read more

Unfortuttly they lost our business today. The girl who answered the phone appeared to have trouble getting order right. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with light cheese, which she asked 2x to clarify order, and we got a heavy cheese quesadilla with no chicken. Ordered a side of fries and was charged for them but they never appeared!!!! No thanks!!! I'll take my business and money somewhere else. Worst ever read more

So today I was excited to try something new with my friend... coming from Florida and traveling around Maryland, should be exciting while tasting food right?? Well... we observed, while ordering our food, that the cashier was apparently sick... that should've been our first clue to book it and go somewhere else. But we decided we'd give it a shot anyways. Secondly, we observed the driver take off with our food by accident and come back in to give it to a cook to give it to us. My friend kindly asked for BBQ sauce for his cheesesteak. Guess what? She gave him ketchup. Not sure how one confuses BBQ and Ketchup. Now, we got our food and we went to a park nearby to eat. We really wanted to eat and watch the sun set. I mean, Maryland, water and sun setting?? Lovely. Except.... my friend's cheesesteak was not prepared appropriately or properly at all!! We quickly packed up to go back and ask for a refund. We wanted to get our money back so we could eat. Consider this, we're not from Maryland. But where were from, we always have been treated with respect. If the food is nasty or not cooked right.... the saying goes, "the costumer is always right." Not here. They laughed at us. Mocked our complaints and very disrespectful towards our requests. Of course, my friend got mad. I interfered to further assist and politely ask for a refund. I explained where I'm from, we respect our costumers and we don't mock them. Mgr said "oh that's how you do it where you're from, well I can't do that here. This is how we make our food." I've visited 5 times now and I simply suggest to get take out never dine in!!! My brother and I visited and we decided to eat in as soon as we sat down one of the owners walk out and take a seat starting at us the entire time and he'll look away when we look back it became disturbing. As soon as we leave he leaves and 3/5 times I've been there he's done exactly that. The foods pricey and taste pretty basic but that's not always bad because you know what to expect. My husband and I just had the worst experience with this place. My husband ordered a pizza almost two hours ago and after he called back twice I got on the phone and spoke to the "manager" who got extremely rude and loud with me. I got subs for my kids and myself. We got cheese steak subs with provolone cheese with everything and no hots. It's the first good steak sub I've had in a long time. Love their cheese steak subs. Stuffed with lots of meat and cheese. Onion rings are crispy and golden. Service is swift and courteous.

Better than Fast Food with a reasonable wait. Many items are prepared fresh for that day. If you like potatoes like I do, different flavors of fries are available on the menu. I am talking fries with old bay, fries with gravy, home fries with ketchup and the like. And they use some of the best deli meats. Being in business since 1992 is saying something. Someone from the area introduced this place to me a little over 10 years ago, and I've been a fan ever since. I usually get pizzas w/different toppings on them...so one night when I was pregnant with my son, I decided to try their cheese steak pizza. OMG...I LOVED IT!!! I was hooked! I LOVE pepperoni and roasted red pepper pizza, but this place blew me away with their cheese steak pizza! I've had this at several other places, but no one delivered on taste quite like Bello Vitto's. Honestly, I don't even get cheese steak pizza anywhere else now! I have also had their cheese steaks a million times...not the biggest, but definitely packed with flavor! They aren't bland, and you can tell that they use premium ingredients!!! This was the worst experience I ever had. I placed an order for delivery and paid with a credit card. They asked if I wanted a tip included and I said no. The price online was $33.79, their receipt said 34.29, the charge on my card was $41.15. When I called I was greeted by the worst customer service. She refused to cancel the order and refund my money. I was told that if I don't trust them I do not need to be a customer after today. So I had to drive to the business. I walked in and the same woman was so rude. She kept saying the she is trustworthy and she doesn't need customers who don't trust them. She proceeded to void my transaction and told me that if I can't trust them she didn't want me back. She was using foul language and when I told her that that the workers need to wash their hands she said they were fine. I saw them touching their clothes, hair, picking things up off the floor then proceeded to continue making the food. Then saw in the back corner ther were bugs crawling on the floor. This is the most disgusting place I have ever been in. The worst customer service. The blatant disregard for public safety and exceptionally poor customer service. So tonight I ordered the Sixteen inch Cheese Pizza , Crab Soup and the Crispy Chicken Salad with Ranch Dressing. Three Stars because my pizza yes the whole pizza was like warm-cold, very dissapointing. So I wrapped it up and have for leftovers. I will put it in the oven myself. The Crab Soup was delicious so that kinda took off some of the stress of a somewhat cold pizza. My Crispy Chicken salad was great the little bit I had because I am taking the rest with me to work.
