Definitely recommend the chilaquiles burrito from Birria Superior. We got the red salsa chilaquiles with a side of green salsa. Their agua de fresa (strawberry water) is really good. The best customer service thanks to Jose Campos. He recommended the strawberry water and it did not disappoint. Thanks Jose!

I knew the food was gonna be good when I could hear the music from the parking lot. The chilaquiles plate with red sauce was yummy and had a nice spicy kick to it. Maricela and the guys in the kitchen were very inviting, hospitable, and like my daughter said, "excellent customer service". We will be back :)

The food is good. They put a good amount of meat in the tacos. The only thing that bothers me is they give you the smallest amount of condiments like the onion, cilantro, and salsa. The last visit there I only got two tiny containers of salsa, onion, and cilantro for ,5 tacos, 1 quesadilla, and 2 consomes. Happens every visit. That's the only thing that's upsetting. read more

This is my new obsession, my new religion is Birria and this is my temple. All jokes aside I've been here 5+ times and every time I am here it's always clean, delicious, as well as friendly service. Michelle in the drive through has been a great help and so has Brenda. I'm happy to say this has become a staple in my rolodex of comfort foods. read more

I went two different occasions and the first time I ordered 3 tacos and I only received 2 cost me $8 and change fir the 2 tacos I received. They were good though. Then the second trip a day later I order and after I got done the guy asked if I wanted jalapeños and hot sauce I said awesome it was just over $28 this time for 3 tacos, 1 quesotaco, a burrito, a large cherry coke, and a small consume. I get to the window the cherry coke is regular which is not a big deal but I get home and no jalapeños and no hot sauce. Then I tell my dad the tacos are pretty good and I let him know what happened to me there but he wants to try it and he ordered some quesotacos and a burrito he asked for jalapeños and hot sauce. He got home and they gave him a torta instead of a burrito. They also like me didn't put the hot sauce, jalapeños and no onions. He calls me and said what happened and that he called the number on the receipt. It was the number for their tacos el superior store on Ave k. The guy on the phone told him to look online for the number. I got on Yelp to try to get the right number for him but they don't have one yet. The number he called didn't know who to call really!! Unacceptable. My dad lives on Ave I and 20th East which is quite a distance from Ave j and 20th west. He will not be going back I'm not sure if I'll give them another try or not. Just tried to get food for the family here and they have the smallest menu I've ever seen. Super rude staff and I think it's stupid how they make you go through the drive thru when we simply wanted to go inside and ask questions about their food items. They just turned us away telling my wife and I that we needed to go through the drive thru right after they served a woman who walked inside. This place lost our business for good. Don't recommend. read more

Well the first time I went there they gave me more juice than meat I was really disappointed especially if ur grabbing a pound of it to feed yourself and who ever else around u the meat was soggy n on the bottom of the cup if felt more like a soup than anything. So today I went earlier this morning since it's been months since I ate there to give them a Benefit of a doubt by grabbing me 2 pounds this time since I had family over n for The second time again more juice than meat me and my family are looking like WTF SMH .. not even worth my $55 i spend like really disappointed. If anyone decides to eat here make sure u open the cup n stir it to make sure they putting meat in there .. i was born n raised in LA n I grew up eating birria so I know was up when it comes to this portions they are selling.... They did bring us chips and salsa, and the red spicy salsa was actually good, probably the best part of the meal. Overall, this place is okay but very mediocre. With how expensive eating out is these days, I'm really picky about where I spend my money, and this didn't feel worth it. There are definitely better, Mexican spots in Lancaster that I'd rather go to. I probably won't be coming back.

The food quality was very high, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, they were very authentic with a tomato sauce and sauteed onions and peppers, not spicy but I did ask for their home salsa and it brought up the spice level, the dish is served with homemade rice and beans, all well cooked. I also ordered a side of pancakes and bacon for my dad and they were perfectly cooked. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and worth the visit. I have shared my experience with my friends and family in Lancaster.

I read the previous reviews a week before I came down to Lancaster on a work trip. Didn't sound that great, but also they had that flavor of speech that people use when they were probably the problem not the place they were eating. There isn't good birria up north, so when I come to LA that's a priority. When I came into town my first night here I decided to come and get food. I had the consumé and I had a birria burrito with queso. Service was super friendly and kind, super conscientious, attentive, and alert. They made sure I had exactly what I wanted, and when the food came, I was in heaven. Everything here is fantastic. I've come for one meal every day for almost a week now and I will definitely come for the last two days that I'm in town as well. This is always a to go when wanting birria, recently we had a bad experience with the food. I sent a message to Birria Superior on Instagram and was advised the manager was going to contact us. We honestly dint thin we were going to get a call, but to our surprise Luis Manager contacted us. He invited us to go back again, which we were a little hesitant but after a long day of work we decided to go and give it a try. Luis has such a positive vibe and was very friendly. Lunch was on him and even gave us an extra item. The food was delicious and just love the tortillas hecha a Manos . Thank you Luis for your excellent customer and treating us like family. read more

I had been looking for authentic birria like the type in Mexico and wow am I happy found this place when it was just a pop up. So happy they are a restaurant now. The meat is so tender and juicy. And the consome has the best flavor! You can tell they put love into this. My favorite items to get are the quesa tacos with the consome and you cannot forget the birria ramen. The noodles for the birria ramen have the best texture a must try. And did I mention it the tortillas are made by hand! So perfect couldn't have asked for anything better. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!! I have been waiting for the restaurant to open! I went twice on opening day, for myself at lunch and for my family during dinnertime. The staff is super friendly. When I went to the drive-thru entrance, there was someone handing out menu fliers to give us time to look before getting to the menu to order. We had Regular Tacos and Cosume. We also tried all of the Agua Frescas which is Horchata, Jamaica and Pepino Limon with Chia. Everything was great!!! I would only add that we did not get our onions & cilantro for our meal, but it was the first day so all is forgiven! Can't wait to go again! read more

Came here a couple times now and each time the food didn't let me down. I ordered 2 queso tacos, a Bolio, consomé, and a agua de pepino. Let me tell you, they were so good!!! I like that they offer several condiments, so that way you can eat the food the way you like it. The handmade tortillas are so tasty, that I can probably eat them by themselves i remember before they had a little stand by the taco truck and now they're a whole restaurant. Way to make it big! This is definitely the Birria spot in the AV. I love their variation, you can have tacos, tortas, ramen, etc. You name it. Ohh and I'm from Michoacán, the Chile de aceite is a huge PLUS!!! I would totally recommend!! Birria used to be a a special event thing but they have made it possible to enjoy it anytime of the week now, woohoo! I have to say the only con is their packaging with cilantro and onion- they use small containers with little to none, instead of bags. As someone who's been purchasing these delicious Birria tacos when they were back on 10th st, I can definitely vouch and let you all know that this is the absolute BEST spot for Birria out here!! I've been craving quesatacos since I first saw them on IG a while back, but with no spots out here, it was always a bit of a disappointment. Then Birria Superior started up and I haven't ever ever been disappointed since. Whole year later and they've got a drive-thru, a sick dine-in setting, a great menu and amazing staff! Birria Superior is truly something special. The Birria has a great taste and strong flavor, so when served along with the consomé it just proves to be the best around. The menu includes many classic Mexican dishes, my favorite being their sandwich. It's a delicious toasted bolillo that's been drenched in consomé when prepping and the flavor is just amazing. Haven't even mentioned the cheese yet, which they are not shy at all about adding in any of their cheese products! Jose Campo made our visit to Birria Superior such a great experience. As soon as we walked in, he welcomed us with an amazing attitude that instantly made us feel comfortable. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and even offered us samples of the aguas frescas, which was such a nice touch. Honestly the food was amazing the quesa tacos were delicious. But sadly Custumer service needs work a lot of it. Didn't get my drinks until I got my food but I had to asked for my drinks because they forgot or didn't read my order sadly. Also extremely rude the front cashier taking dine in orders. Her rudeness is unpleasant and makes you feel this bad vibe coming from her. Please if you're the owner that owns this business. Please make sure your costumers feel welcome. OMG! When I say this place is yummy, this place is AMAZINGLY YUMMY! I was so shocked how delicious this place is! And trust me I know great birria when I taste it! BEST BIRRIA AROUND. I'm so upset with myself that I didn't take a picture of the food but it looked sooo freaking delicious that the world around me disappeared. They packed in as much birria as one could possibly pack into my cheesy birra tacos and in my husband's birria sándwich. The consume reminded me of my childhood and simpler times when I had no bills or responsibilities. I will 100% come back and live out my best days enjoying this God-blessed food. read more

I've never been a huge fan of birria but this restaurant has changed my perspective on it! It is so juicy and unlike anything in town. The queso tacos are a must have here and I will definitely come back for more. Though is was a soft opening, there wasn't a huge wait which I wouldn't have minding waiting an hour because it is so worth it.
