I've lived out here for quite a while now and I've tried all the Mexican spots in town. This one is closest to where I live and the prices aren't too bad. I usually get the tostada bowl with shredded beef or the wet burrito is really good also. The service is wonderful, done with friendly personnel (usually a member of their family). The quality of both the food and service is about as consistent as you can get in a restaurant. However, if you are looking for a loud bar seen, with tons of ambiance and craziness; this will not be the place you are looking for. The BEST chicken tortilla soup I ever had. I am a soup fan and I couldn't stop complimenting this soup. I had a torta for the first time and it's was delicious as well. I'm so glad I found this place and so ashamed that I've been here for years and never tried it. I've been searching for decent Carne Asada fries for awhile now. Other places in the AV will either use steak fries or mix beans in theirs but Robertos? French fries, Carne asada, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and Pico de Gallo. Pretty much everything I've gotten here has been decent. I used to swear by Ramon's, but this is my new go to. If I have to be critical... I wish they had better salsa. Fish tacos weren't all that great. Churros weren't very sweet, and the Carne asada fries don't seem to have the same amount of meat as their california burrito. read more

Came here to have lunch with our daughters friend and they brought the family, so we had a party of 8 people, 2 were little kids. It's a little mom and pop shop kinda restaurant, it has a very big family feeling to this restaurant. Came here about 1pm and it was only 1 server and let me tell you she amazing. She was very attentive to us and super friendly. She took all our drink orders and dropped off chips and bean & salsa. Then she came back to take our lunch order. First round of Food came out really fast within 5 minutes our starters. Most of use started with the chicken tortilla soup and the albondigas soup (meatball soup). Everyone orders enchiladas, quesadilla and sopes. All the food came out in a timely matter after our starters in 20 minutes. Our server was very attentive, and also the only server who was serving the whole entire restaurant at the time which she had five tables. She always made sure that we had everything we needed and refilled everything we asked. All the food was super tasty and you get a good amount of food for the price. So if you're looking somewhere to eat out here, this is a place I recommend. read more

The food here is hit or miss on any given day that you go in. The service is nice. I went out of my way to go here a few times just to see if it would get any better but it is no different than the local Mexican restaurants. They do not give first responder or military discounts so therefore I do not recommend this place compared to the other local establishments that are right near the Air Force Base in this small town with equal or better quality food. read more
