It is slow-cooked until tender and served with a side of consome. Birria, in Spanish was originally meant as "Something of little value". The origin was probably developed because the original recipe was using tougher, less desirable cut of meat, like goat. I ordered a Marucha Birria Ramen from Taqueria Las Amiguis for lunch! It came with a bowl of Birria consome with ramen noodle. 3 Birria Tacos with cheese, cilantro, onions and lime with hot sauces. First, take a sip of Birria consome with Ramen as a savory prelude. Next take the Birria taco with cheese, dip the tortilla into the consome for extra flavor. They are topped with lime, cilantro and onions. Some time I paired with a cold beer or aqua fresca. For me, the combination of savory consome, tender meat, crispy tortillas, Ramen and vibrant toppings is also an experience I enjoyed! The Birria Ramen from Taqueria Las Amiguis is excellent and will order this again and again! By the way, I make quick Birria Ramen lunch with many variations at home. For the last Birria Ramen, I used a Trader Joe's Beef Birria, Ramen with lime, cilantro and onions. I simply slurp the noodles like nobody's watching. Dunk the tender birria into the consome. Repeat until the bowl is empty!

There are about 10 food trucks organized in a U shape arrangement with parking space to accommodate more than 30+ cars. Tents with tables were available. We got in around 5:30 PM and Latin music were played in two of tents, Fogoncito Catracho and The Food Twisters. There are Pizza, Smoothies, Tacos, Burritos, Empanada and other food from Cuba, and Central America. We step in The Food Twisters and ordered a Cheese Burger and a Twisted Burger and a watermelon mojito. The staff is very friendly and tell you it will take 10 minute to prepare the food. The cheese burger is fine and flavorful. The Twisted burger is amazing! A grilled burger on a buttered bun with crispy smoked bacon strips, melted Swiss Chesse, lettuce and tomato with Guava BBQ sauce. The Guava BBQ sauce added that extra taste to the burger. Very nice! We tried their watermelon mojito drink in an oversize cup. The lime, mint, and watermelon juice with ice cubes elevated my taste bud to fight the humid Florida Summer sun! Definitely will return to try their empanada, Cuban egg roll, Mac N Cheese burger!

We grabbed a tempura sushi roll from the lobster truck. (1 roll was $19! ) and got a lily Pad punch at the inside bar, where we sat. The drink was good, Tasty. So cute with the frog on a lily pad! (a lime slice). The drink was not weak. It was a good choice. All the bartenders we very attentive and came around to see how we were doing. We didnt stay long, it was loud and we were having a hard time hearing.... and there were too many flies dive bombing us. There was also a live band playing outside. But not really music we were into. We do enjoy this place and its right down the street from us so its a convenient spot to meet up.

We never had that before so we said sure. I ordered Pizza Chorizo and my hubby got the Pizza Pepperoni. What is interesting is that it's different from regular Italian pizza. The pizza had a softer dough which rises higher and had melted Swiss and cheese with onions, round, puffed up edges crispy with your added extra ingredient inside. It's designed as street food. The way to eat a Pizza Cuban style is to fold it in half and enjoy. We found their pizzas to be very delicious. The only minor thing is that these lovely people don't speak much English. That's good because I can practice my Spanish. They're really sweet. We love supporting small mom and pop food trucks. We will return!

First, I have to say the customer service needs serious improvement. I called ahead to place an order, but instead of being properly assisted, I was left on the line while the staff continued to take other in-person orders. There was no courtesy hold or communication, which felt unprofessional and frustrating. In total we had to call MULTIPLE times and was on "hold" for more then 10 minutes. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I understand how busy things can get -- but basic customer service goes a long way in keeping guests satisfied. Secondly, the pricing is a bit extreme, especially when it comes to something as simple as the Hot Cheeto bag. You are paying $6 for a 1oz bag. You can get a whole party size bag of hot Cheetos for less. I get that food costs are rising, but for what you're getting, it feels overpriced. Also, to add that I have tried this food truck multiple times and this occurs every time. The food is wonderful but it is going to lose business if there is not a change. If you are going to offer a phone service then please have it functioning properly.
