It makes no sense one would expect them to either improve the quality or at least maintain it, but they've done the exact opposite. As for the service, it's terrible. The servers have added tips to my bill without my consent on multiple occasions, which I've had to dispute with my bank because that's fraud. So, be cautious and keep an eye on your bank statements. Another thing to note is the language barrier. They don't have staff who speak English fluently, and if they do, it's very minimal, which I imagine leads to a lot of miscommunication.

Just MOAR cilantro please. All over my body. Jeff had the "chef taco" which looked like ground beef. We both had the hot salsa (which was flavorful and delicious, though not spicy to me). And the tacos come in soft corn tortillas, two on each taco. I didn't really get why they each needed two tortillas (twice the calories). But it did wonders for the texture. When I asked the chef, he confirmed that, yes, the tortillas are handmade everyday. These guys deserve a standing ovation for that alone. But wait, there's more. They have a "walking taco" riff on their menu--all the taco fixings (ground beef, I think) thrown into a crunched up bag of doritos, ready to be devoured via fork. Shut up and take my money!

It is slow-cooked until tender and served with a side of consome. Birria, in Spanish was originally meant as "Something of little value". The origin was probably developed because the original recipe was using tougher, less desirable cut of meat, like goat. I ordered a Marucha Birria Ramen from Taqueria Las Amiguis for lunch! It came with a bowl of Birria consome with ramen noodle. 3 Birria Tacos with cheese, cilantro, onions and lime with hot sauces. First, take a sip of Birria consome with Ramen as a savory prelude. Next take the Birria taco with cheese, dip the tortilla into the consome for extra flavor. They are topped with lime, cilantro and onions. Some time I paired with a cold beer or aqua fresca. For me, the combination of savory consome, tender meat, crispy tortillas, Ramen and vibrant toppings is also an experience I enjoyed! The Birria Ramen from Taqueria Las Amiguis is excellent and will order this again and again! By the way, I make quick Birria Ramen lunch with many variations at home. For the last Birria Ramen, I used a Trader Joe's Beef Birria, Ramen with lime, cilantro and onions. I simply slurp the noodles like nobody's watching. Dunk the tender birria into the consome. Repeat until the bowl is empty!

This is our virgin stop with this food truck, Cactus Truck. They have a menu of tortas, quesadillas, shrimp cocktail, ceviche, sopes, tacos, burritos, rice and beans, corn cup, gorditas and empanada. They were simply printed in a small spiral booklet. The temperature is in low 80's and we sit on one of six tables to enjoy the mild sun with breeze and munch on our tacos. We noticed that the gazebo was not up today! You can hear the traffic from Lee Blvd but I can image they probably put on some Mexican music at night here. We ordered two Barbacoa (beef) and two Al Pastor (pork) tacos. Both tacos were flavorful and tasty. With two cokes, the bill was $16, very reasonable and affordable!
