If you're looking for good food, giant portions, and consistency, then this is the place for you. I've been to this place now at least 6-7 times and I've never had a bad experience. The food is always hot and good and I always get more than enough to eat. I usually get a Birriera Torta, which comes with a side of the consume' (soup) and I love it. My only complaint is that sometimes the torta on the bottom of the container can get a bit soggy, but I usually let that slide because the portions are so large and the Torta on top is always perfect and delicious. This is by far the best spot for Birriera and much better than the other place that adds beans as a filler; which must be a PDX thing. Come here to get the best!!! read more

Almost 5-star good! I've gotten food here twice. First time, I tried the single queso taco (decent, not great) and the birria ramen. The ramen broth was knock-your-socks-off good! Unfortunately, by the time we got home with our food, the ramen noodles soaked up a lot of the broth. If I order it again, I'll get extra consomme on the side. Tonight I got 3 Birria Queso Tacos with consomme. The tacos are super filling (they do not skimp on the meat fillng) so I only ate one, but I did buy extra consomme (8 oz. for $4) and that was to die for. The flavor was excellent. Would have rated this place 5 stars, but the mulitas got a bit soggy due to liquid at the bottom of the container. The consumme was so piping hot it was difficult to open the container. Staff was friendly in helping my understand the menu items. Plenty of off-street parking, but very little ambience. I'm obsessed with birria tacos! Something about dipping it in a fatty soup broth that coats the tongue is just heavenly bliss! We were on the hunt for tacos so we pulled up at this mini food truck area that had mostly Mexican type food. Has a lot of outdoor seating which is nice. We ordered the taco playe and birria plate. I'm not sure if they offer individual options, but they had pictures of plate option. The birria plate is pretty skimpy with the sides which was a little sad, but the beans was seasoned nicely and didn't need added salt or anything which is nice. I loved my tacos! Filled with meat and ratios was good. They also offer those fruity drinks in the bottle so great option to pair with the meal. read more

I am obsessed with their Birrieria ramen. SO GOOD. And amazing leftovers the next day -- and you will have some because it's huge! My partner and I have tried everything on their menu, and it's all DELISH. We are frequent fliers there! They are friendly, it isn't the fastest, and one time I was there, they were out of ramen. I said fine, give it to me without ramen for a bit less, and I'll add my own at home. It was still awesome. A few times later, they thought they were out of ramen, but then found some. They use a large bowl of Tapatillo ramen (without the packet, of course). They also had no soup containers, so they sent me away with a big heaping bowl of hot liquid with aluminum foil over the top. Even with carrying it like it was a baby and being very careful, it made a mess. I was pissed off when I got home... but honestly after a taste or two all was forgiven and I was in heaven. I understand that getting supplies these days is DIFFICULT. (I had been to Cash and Carry/Chef's store earlier that day and... the shelves, especially for containers and soft goods, were DEVASTATED.) read more

I get the number eight . It is a burrito with a little bit of beans and a little bit of red rice Spanish rice and a cup of consomme. It is easily the best burrito I've ever had in my life. My girlfriend and I got to Don bigotes usually on Sunday's when Birrieria La Capital is closed but it always looks really good. So we decided to go during the week and honestly we were a little bit disappointed. We ordered the quesabirria box to share, it looked good but the taste wasn't really there.
