However, with all of my personal situational events, Tashona didn't hesitate to go above and beyond in accommodating my family and I every step of the way. Tashona is a passionate humanitarian and that made my experience with her so much greater. I decided to hire Staci at The Statesville Doula when I was 34 weeks pregnant. During our consultation, Staci made me feel comfortable and in charge of my birth. She actually made me excited to have my baby after months of being nervous. When I went into labor, Staci was a calm presence over the phone and when I needed her, she came right to me, able to show me and my wife how we could work together for my comfort. It was an overwhelming and empowering experience. If we choose to have any more children, we will be hiring Staci right away. I can't recommend her enough. She is an asset in the birth room.

Isn't that was the doctors and nurses are far. But, since the first meeting with had with Natural Baby Doulas, I can't imagine going through this again as a family without a good doula service. We met with three different doulas before the birth. We asked a lot of questions. They listened really well and were very informative. They even prepped us about how we could approach our doctors visits and what questions to ask. My wife and I felt like a team going into the birth. Jessica was an incredible help during my wife's labor. She coached my wife, gave us perspective and vision, reminded us of our goals, was an advocate with the nurses, and helped us make decisions. There were many occasions where I would have been overwhelmed and terrified, but Jessica's calm and competent presence helped me support my wife. From a dad's perspective, I can't recommend Natural Baby Doulas enough.

After meeting several doulas I felt like the ladies at Naurtal Baby Doulas were the most relatable and down to earth doulas in the area. They care deeply about what you want out of your birth experience and I never felt pressured or judged about my choices. I truly believe that I would not have been able to do this without Kristian's encouragement and the knowledge I gained from Sarah's class. She was very accommodating to what I requested even though it wasn't part of her typical doula package. She met with myself, my spouse, and my 2 year old on multiple occasions prior to my labor to ensure my son would be comfortable with her and her children. When I went into labor around midnight she was quick to respond and was over to my house within 15 minutes so we could head to the hospital. She kept me updated with pictures and schedules while my son was in her care. She kept great track of what he did while in her care so I was able to see what happened while I was away. She even had an extra toothbrush for him to use while staying with her! She sent me photos of my son on various adventures having a blast with her children. I would highly recommend Michelle as a doula and as a childcare provider or sibling doula. She offered me pregnancy advice even though my focus for her services was on having a safe and friendly environment for my son to be in while my spouse and I were away at the hospital. Michelle was professional, easy to talk to, accommodating and loving while caring for my toddler. I would hire her back without a second thought if I needed her doula or nanny services again!

She watched him in her home, which was very clean, free from clutter + also contained toys, artwork + fun stuff for him to do. I was able to go to work free of worry. Another thing I like about Michelle, is her great communication skills. She gets back to you in a timely manner, and picks up the phone when it rings. She also notified me, when her family was going to be staying at her house, on the same day as when my son, would be babysat by her. She communicated with me, that there were going to be 'new' people in the house, but that my son would be under her watch all day. I appreciated the information, because she didn't have to tell me, but did. Michelle also, hands out a one page: 'Toddler Report', that tells me what my son ate, what his bathroom breaks were + what his sleep habits were for that day. Additionally, she was flexible with me if my work schedule changed. I would definitely hire Michelle, because, she makes the daycare part of my day, stress free. She has a calming, gentle way about her, but at the same time, detail oriented + professional when it comes to the children she cares for. Thank you Michelle !!
